Copyright & Content Removal Policy
HiBook takes copyright notices seriously and maintains a clear process for rights holders to request a review of content.

1. Content sources
HiBook distinguishes “HiBook Originals” — content produced or commissioned by the HiBook team — from “Collected” content — material aggregated, edited, or translated from other public sources. A label on a story is not a substitute for verifying a third party’s ownership rights.
If you believe content on HiBook uses your work without permission, please submit a notice using the process below or contact us through Contact HiBook.
2. Information required in a notice
- Confirmation that you are the copyright owner or an authorized representative.
- A specific description of the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed.
- The exact HiBook URL for the story, chapter, or content at issue.
- Your name, email address, and contact information so HiBook can reply.
- A good-faith statement that the use of the material is not authorized by the owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information is accurate and, if submitted for an owner, that you are authorized to act for that owner.
3. Submission and review time
Send your notice with the subject “Copyright Notice” to contact.hibook@gmail.com. HiBook aims to respond within 3–5 business days. If a notice is complete and appears well-founded, HiBook may temporarily hide or remove the content while it reviews the matter.
HiBook may request additional documentation to distinguish a valid notice from a wrong URL, incomplete request, or dispute outside the scope of copyright.
4. Counter-notices
If you are the author or content manager of removed material and believe it was removed in error, you may send a counter-notice to contact.hibook@gmail.com. The counter-notice should identify the removed URL, explain why you have the right to use the material, provide contact details, include a good-faith statement, and confirm that the information is accurate.
After receiving a valid counter-notice, HiBook may forward the information to the complaining party so the parties can resolve the rights issue. Restoration depends on the review and the documentation received.
5. Copyright contact
All notices should be sent to the single copyright contact at contact.hibook@gmail.com. Please do not include sensitive personal information or identification documents that are not necessary. You may also start from our Contact HiBook page.
