Chapter 4
Chapter 4 — A Nhuoc's New Parents
Mother walked out of the crowd. He walked straight in front of me, took my wrist and looked at me, then turned his head to look at my father.
"Father, you've seen it too. Tham Minh Tu even wanted to take away the To family's tokens to please his mother Liu Suong. Today is to rob the jade token, tomorrow do you want to sell my daughter in exchange for some of his fake reputation of benevolence?"
The father was so angry that his beard trembled. He pointed at his father without being able to scold him. Seeing that the situation was not good, Lieu Suong used her secret technique. She pulled Nguyen Bao to kneel on the ground, crying until she cried.
"It's all my fault. It's my fate, I have no husband to rely on. Tu brother only sees Nguyen Bao pitifully, and has absolutely no other intentions."
"Old lady, old Mr. Qi, please don't blame Tu brother. Is it okay if Nguyen Bao doesn't read books anymore?"
She cried and pulled the hem of her father's shirt. Father looked at her appearance of enduring pain and perfection, and his protective heart arose again. He stiff-necked and said to his mother:
"Lieu Suong is already pitiful enough. She is the mother of the mother, so why should she be so aggressive and scary? A Nhuoc's wrist is only a little red but she hasn't lost any meat, and Nguyen Bao doesn't even have the chance to read a book."
I feel nauseous when I hear it. This is my father. As long as Nguyen Bao cries, the pain I suffer will be nothing. I raised my head to look at Bui Kieu Nhien standing next to me. I took a deep breath and made an action that surprised everyone. I passed by, in front of my father, mother, old Mr. Qi and all the servants, holding Bui Kieu Nhien's big hand.
"Father, mother, father wants to be Nguyen Bao's father so much, just let him go to work. A Nhuoc doesn't need him anymore."
I pointed at Bui Kieu Nhien.
"I think Uncle Bui is very good. He doesn't steal my things, he even buys me gourd candy. Is it okay to let him be my new father?"
The whole yard was silent. His father's eyes widened to the point of falling out, his face turned from pale to pale.
“Tham A Nhuoc, you are crazy!”
He got angry. Bui Kieu Nhien suddenly burst out laughing. He grabbed my small hand and looked at his father provocatively.
"I think this idea is not bad. I have a lot of money, this little girl wants me to give her anything, there is no need to force her to give alms to others."
Everyone had not yet recovered from the shock when their mother took out a piece of paper from her sleeve and threw it directly at their father's face. It is a letter of reconciliation. The mother's voice was as cold as ice, leaving no room for retreat.
“Tham Minh Tu, sign your name.”

Father stared at that piece of paper.
“To Thanh Lam, are you crazy?”
He pointed at his mother and shouted.
"Just because of a small piece of jade token, just because of a few disputes, you want to separate from me? I am a royal official, do you think that breaking up is childish?"
The mother looked at him expressionlessly.
"I never joked. You embezzled my dowry, using money from the To family to raise the woman and the child outside. I ordered someone to copy the books into three copies."
“If you don't sign the peace agreement, I will bring the books and play the Dang Van drum, so that the Royal Palace will play a copy for you.”
Father took a step back. He turned his head to look at his father, his voice filled with panic.
“Father, manager she goes. What woman would dare to threaten her husband like that?
The patriarch leaned on his cane and knocked heavily on the ground.
“What does it threaten you with? You're the one who did those shameful and shameful things, and you still have the face to ask me?"
The patriarch pointed towards the big gate.
“Our Shen family's face has been wiped out by you. You sign immediately and return To Thi's dowry without missing an inch."
"If you dare not sign, today I will request the family law, break your legs, and directly expel you from the clan."
The parents were completely panicked. Aunt Lieu next to her was also stunned, perhaps she didn't expect things to be this loud. She crawled and crawled in front of her mother.
“Lady, thousands of mistakes are all my fault. Absolutely don't get angry with Tu Ca because of me. It's okay for us, mother and son, to leave, we absolutely won't be an eyesore anymore."
The mother kicked away the hand she reached out for.
“Don't touch me with your dirty hands. Whether you go or not has nothing to do with me. Today, Tham Minh Tu must sign this letter of separation."
Bui Kieu Nhien stood next to me, his arms folded across his chest, bursting into laughter.
“Master Shen, do you need me to help you sharpen your ink?”
He stepped forward, one foot stepping on the edge of the peace book.
“Or would you rather go to Dai Ly Temple to sign your name?”
Father looked at his angry father, then looked at old Mr. Qi standing next to him watching the joke, and finally looked at Bui Kieu Nhien whose whole body was full of murderous aura. His whole body immediately collapsed.
