Chapter 4
Chapter 4 — After Divorce, I Recovered Everything
I didn't move. Back to the sofa. Continue drinking your wine. Slam. Cursing sounds. Mix together. As if coming from another world.
"Tran Hi! You're such a bitch!"
That is Manh Dinh's voice. And full of uncontrolled anger.
“You ruined our wedding!”
“Now you want to ruin our lives too?!”
“Give back the things that don't belong to you!”
Doesn't belong to me? I laughed. Walk to the back of the door. Open the intercom. My voice comes through the device.
“If I illegally enter someone else's house, I have the right to report it to the police.”
“Try hitting it one more time.”
There was immediate silence outside. A few seconds later. Tu Khai's voice rang out. Trying to suppress my anger.
“Tran Hi, let's talk.”
“There's nothing to say.”
“This house!”
He seemed to have just clung to the last straw to save his life.
“This house should at least be mine!”
"We've been married for eight years! This is our joint property!"
“Don't try to take over everything by yourself!”
I laughed.
“It seems you forgot.”
“This house was bought entirely in cash by my parents before I got married.”
“On the certificate of ownership.”
“Only my name.”
“This is my pre-marital property.”
The air outside the door seemed to freeze in that moment. I can feel it clearly. Tu Khai's breathing seemed to stop. Property existed before marriage. Those four words are like a heavy hammer. Completely crushing his last bit of hope.
“No… no way…”
His voice trembled. Full of disbelief.
“You are lying to me!”
“This house was obviously renovated after we got married!”
“I paid for the house repair!”
I leaned my back against the door. Calmly tell the truth.
“The total repair cost is 1,820,000 yuan.”
“I still keep the full receipt.”
“If you want it back, no problem.”
“Just follow the legal process.”
“I will fully refund you that money.”
"Of course."
“Provided you still have enough money to sue me.”
I heard his heavy breathing. Like a dying animal. Of course he has no money. Even the wedding debt. Now he still can't pay.
“You planned on me!”
He finally shouted that sentence. The voice was filled with despair and hatred.
“You were planning on me from the beginning!”
"I do not have."
My voice was cold as ice.
“I'm just protecting what's mine.”
“You're too greedy.”
“I just wanted Manh Dinh's love.”
“And I want peace and wealth with me.”
“There is no such good thing in this world.”
"Tran Hi! Open the door for me!"
This time the one who shouted was Manh Dinh.
“You crazy woman!”
“You have already calculated it all in advance!”
“You can't bear to see us happy!”
“Give this house back to us!”
“This is our future home!”
I'm too lazy to continue arguing with her. Directly press the emergency call button for the building management.
“Security room, right?”
“I live in apartment A1801.”
“Someone is causing trouble in front of my house, seriously affecting my private life.”
“Please come up and help me handle it.”
“Yes, Miss Tran, we will be there soon.”
Not yet full three minutes later. Two security guards wear uniforms. Carry an electric baton. Appears in the hallway.
“Sir, ma'am.”
“Please leave here immediately.”
"This is someone else's private home. The current behavior of the two of you constitutes harassment."
Tu Khai looked at the two guards. Looked again at the still closed door in front of him. The fire in his eyes gradually died down. Like a dog whose spine has been removed. Manh Dinh is still not willing. Continue cursing loudly.
“On what basis do you chase us away?”
“This is my fiance's house!”
A security guard coldly corrected.
“On the certificate of ownership, only Ms. Tran's name is written.”
“If you still refuse to leave, we will call the police.”
“Report to the police?”
