Chapter 3 — After I Trained the Rebel Young Master

Updated 10/08/2026 4 min read

When the butler called me awake in the car, Ta Hanh was nowhere to be seen, but his coat was covering me. After returning, I pulled Pipi to the corner of the garden to chat.

“I'm so suffocated, I haven't said a single word all day.”

Knowing that, I didn't pretend to be dumb. I used to be a talkative person before. But before my mother quit her job, she told me that the secret to her being able to work for a long time at the Ta family was that she was mute. Don't cause trouble, don't create trouble, and don't have a sense of existence, and don't easily make others jealous. I stroked Pippi's furry head while complaining about Ta Hanh. Facing the husky's stupid eyes, I was even more confident that it would not sell me out. From now on, it is my chat partner. While speaking enthusiastically, a parrot's voice suddenly came from the tree branch above his head:

"Ta Hanh is so evil! Ta Hanh is so evil! Ta Hanh is so evil! Evil! Poor sense!"

Me:? Since when has Ta Hanh raised birds? He even eavesdropped on my conversation. This parrot screams more and more loudly. As soon as I turned my head, I saw Ta Hanh coming this way. I nervously stuffed the parrot into my arms and covered its mouth:

“Don't say, don't say.”

At that point, we'll both be packed up and thrown out. The parrot bit me and flew directly into Ta Hanh's hand. I hugged the husky, tremblingly staring at the other bird, afraid it would say something that would expose me. Ta Hanh used his fingertips to stroke its head. The parrot tilted its head, flapped its wings and cried loudly:

“It's stuffy to death! It's stuffy to death!”

Does he still want to repeat the words I scolded Ta Hanh? My head buzzed, I hugged Pi Pi even tighter. When I raised my head again, Ta Hanh was looking down at me. The next second, the parrot flew onto Ta Hanh's head, lifting its claws to shatter the atmosphere.

“Don't say, don't say, don't say, don't say.”

Ta Hanh frowned, put the bird in a cage, and asked me:

“Who normally teaches him to talk?”

Finally, I breathed a sigh of relief and said to Ta Hanh:

“Butler Chung.”

In the evening, I went to knock on Ta Hanh's door. 【Thank you for your jacket, I've washed it.】 Ta Hanh took it, his expression still cold as before.

“Excessive.”

When he was about to close the door, I quickly showed him the phone: 【School starts tomorrow, my grandfather arranged me to join your class. Do you go to school?】 【I don't have any other intention, it's just that I'm in a strange environment for the first time, I want to find someone familiar.】 【I just know you.】 I raised my eyes to look at him, my eyes full of insecurity. Ta Hanh raised his eyelids and glanced at me, his voice firm:

“No.”

After saying that, he didn't even go back to his room but left the house directly, not knowing how long he would play before returning. Don't forget to warn me:

“Don't follow me.”

The next day, the homeroom teacher led me to my seat. I saw a person inside lying on the table. Ta Hanh's face was buried in his elbow, his black hair at the nape of his neck was a bit messy, looking shaggy. I sat down carefully, avoiding waking him up. Just thinking about Ta Hanh going to school, I felt like I had won a million. Listening to the housekeeper, last year he took a year off from school, didn't even take the university entrance exam, and now he's repeating the twelfth grade. It wasn't until the English class was halfway through, Ta Hanh is still not awake. It wasn't until the teacher called my name that he slightly reacted.

“Thi Ha, please translate this sentence.”

"Why don't you say it? It's so simple, don't you know?"

I was confused and wanted to make a few signs, but Ta Hanh stood up to answer for me.

“She can't speak.”

After sitting down, I thoughtfully tilted my head and glanced at him. Ta Hanh is supporting his chin with one hand. I passed him a piece of paper: 【Do you not hate me that much anymore?】 Ta Hanh took the pen and answered me:

“…”
