Chapter 7
Chapter 7 — After Rebirth, I Will Not Be a Widow Anymore
14
Just as I was about to faint, the hand on my neck gradually loosened. I coughed loudly. In a daze, I watched Yen Chinh's shadow disappear from the tent. During the celebration party, the entire army praised General Yen's fiancee for her cleverness in breaking the racket and preserving food and grass throughout the camp. The soldiers took turns coming to offer us wine. They are all rude men who don't know many words and speak frankly.
“May Miss Tham and General give birth to some fat white boys next year!”
Yen Chinh sat in the main seat and looked up. Seeing me happily clinking glasses with each person, he said nothing, just drank the entire cup of wine in his hand. After the banquet ended, I went to the doctor to ask for some medicine. Now we move freely in the army. The soldiers outside Yen Chinh's camp saw that it was me and smiled understandingly, letting me in. I open the curtain. Yen Chinh's upper body was bare, his back was facing me, and he was drying himself. The operating conditions were arduous, the wooden basin was filled with blood and mud and sand.
“What did you come for?”
His voice was very cold. Without turning around, I knew it was me. I walked over, took the towel from his hand, and gently helped him clean his wound, feeling very uncomfortable.
“So many new wounds, does it hurt?”
“Hmm, what does this little injury count for?”
“Speaking loudly again.”
My fingertips slowly slid down his spine, then stopped at his waist. His whole body immediately stiffened, tensed up, and his breathing was heavy. I laughed lightly.
“What are you expecting?”
Yen Chinh was stunned.
"I heard that General Yen is not close to women, why does he let down his guard so easily? If I were really a secret agent, I'm afraid General Yen's throat would have been cut."
As soon as the words ended, my waist was grabbed by hot hands. In the blink of an eye, the world turned upside down. I cried softly, sitting on Yen Chinh's lap. The black eyes were close at hand, filled with suppressed tension. His voice was hoarse.
"Who exactly are you? Only I know the secret name of the Huns in the army."
"I told you, you taught me." I stubbornly said.
Two years ago, when Yen Chinh was not yet a general, he was captured by the Huns for half a month. To this day, no one knows how he escaped in that situation. I only know that before the round sun rose from the horizon, he tied Thien Vu's head to his waist and beat the war drums in front of our army camp. From then on, Yen Chinh became famous, his name echoed throughout the steppe. He also learned the Xiongnu's signals from that time. Yen Chinh laughed coldly and was about to open his mouth, but his words were stopped by my kiss.

This kiss really wasn't gentle at all. Like two leopards on the steppe tearing apart. Lips and teeth collided, mixing with the stench of blood. He pushed me away, his ears were red as if they were about to bleed.
“What are you doing?”
I bit my lip, my eyes turned red, and I directly raised my hand and slapped him. He was beaten to the point of bewilderment. I held his neck with one hand, placed my other hand on his chest, then leaned down to kiss him.
“Um…”
He widened his eyes, looking at me incredulously. I raised my hand and slapped him again.
"Yen Chinh, you told me not to hide my emotions. But when you were young, your heart beat so fast, did you still want to hide it?"
“I…”
Before he could speak, there was another slap and a kiss.
"Damn liar. You once hooked up with me, saying you would come back safely and marry me. I counted every day and night waiting for you, but you left me and went away." before. How do you want me to live alone?
He frowned, not understanding, but did not protest anymore. This time, I didn't slap or kiss. Yet he closed his eyes first. After waiting for a while and not seeing me move, he slowly opened his eyes. Seeing tears in my eyes, I rushed into his arms.
"Yen Chinh, you must live well in this life."

In his previous life, Yen Chinh pampered me so well. So good that I could slap him without hesitation. But this is Yen Chinh in his youth. I can only use alcohol to bully him. Luckily, Yen Chinh, ten years ago, was the same as ten years later, still able to withstand my slap. Later, I bullied Yen Chinh until midnight. The corners of his eyes were red, and his whole body, not just his mouth, was stiff. Having had enough fun with the fight, I ran away. Leaving him alone in the wind, quietly chaotic. The next day, I woke up feeling refreshed. As soon as I walked out the door, Tieu Ngu smiled flatteringly at me. I asked him why he was smiling. He gave a respectful thumbs up.
“Miss Tham, you are truly amazing! Yet he was able to compete in martial arts with the general until midnight. I heard that when the general was training this morning, there were hand prints on his face, and his mouth was also swollen."
I lifted my chin.
“Kid, you're only thirteen years old, what do you know?”
Tieu Ngu scratched his head in confusion.
“Why does everyone say that to me?”
I go to the martial arts arena. The training slogan is loud and neat. As soon as I arrived, all the soldiers' eyes were on me and they secretly smiled. Yen Chinh originally turned his back on me. As if sensing something, he tilted his head, then very unnaturally turned away, pretending not to know I was coming. I find young Yen Chinh very interesting. A little teasing makes you blush. Before, Yen Chinh always liked to tease me. My face turned red with embarrassment, but he still refused to stop, intentionally leaning into my ear and saying inappropriate things. Now we can finally catch the pure Yen Chinh. I chose a beautiful location to watch them compete. Not sure if the peacock spread its tail or not, a few plays later, it was Yen Chinh's turn to go on the field. He wants one against ten. The result was not surprising, he won very comfortably. The whole yard chanted "General Yen". I laughed too. But I laughed because I saw right through it that he was twisting the new wound and was just trying to resist. I don't know who suggested letting me go down to the playground too. I jumped down to the middle of the field and waved my finger at Yen Chinh.
“General Yen, just ride your horse here.”
