Chapter 4
Chapter 4 — After returning, I was favored to the heavens by my godly brother
Trinh Hoang Vien looked at Thien Thien huddled in his arms, then looked at me with a "cold and indifferent" expression, so angry that his whole body trembled. Without saying a word, he suddenly kicked me in the lower abdomen. “Pop!” A heavy sound rang out. I cringed in pain, my whole body was kicked backwards, and I fell hard to the floor. The six internal organs seemed to be disturbed. “I didn't expect you to be so cruel!” Trinh Hoang Vien pointed his finger at me, so angry that his hands shook: "How could the Trinh family give birth to a daughter like you?!" Lam Van hugged Trinh Thien Thien tightly in her arms and comforted her: "Be good, Thien Thien, don't cry, don't be afraid, mom is here with you." Then she turned back to look at me lying on the floor, her eyes like knives: "Tell me, what did you do to Thien Thien?!" Trinh Thien Thien raised her head from Lam Van's arms, her face full of tears, feeling extremely sorry for herself. She sobbed and hesitantly spoke: "Mom, don't blame your sister..." "She said... she said I was pretending to be a genius, and in the future in this house, I would have to live like a servant..." "She forced me... every morning to kneel in front of her room's door and say hello before getting up..." "If I don't do it..." She stopped for a moment, looked at me in fear, then lowered her head and continued: "She will tell Mr. Ky Xuong... to kick me out of the house..." I curled up under myself. Earth, listening to that blatant lie, laughed out of anger. "I do not have!" I put my hands on the floor and tried to stand up, but the pain in my stomach made it impossible for me to muster strength. “I have never said half a word like that!” “You still dare to deny?!” Trinh Hoang Vien roared. Lam Van looked at me with extremely disappointed eyes: "Su Moc, we really looked at you wrong. Thien Thien is so gentle, how can you bear to treat me like that?" They didn't even give me a chance to explain. They hugged Trinh Thien Thien tightly in their hearts, as if it was a treasure they had just found. As for me—just a cruel stranger who barged into their cozy family. Trinh Hoang Vien took a deep breath, his face dark like a dark cloud. “Now I understand.” “Yesterday Ky Xuong was deceived by me pretending to be harmless!” “Now he's gone on a business trip, let's see who else can protect me!” He clasped his hands behind his back, walked back and forth in the house, his voice cold as ice: "This house, it's not your turn to speak!" “Where are you?” The butler and several servants immediately ran from downstairs. “Bring out the family law!” “Today, I have to let you know: in this house, who is the real owner!” 6. The butler held a heavy rosewood stick and walked up from downstairs. Step by step slowly. His face showed an awkward expression. Trinh Hoang Vien saw this and shouted loudly: "What are you doing standing there? Bring it up here!" I curled up on the floor, my lower abdomen hurt like a knot in my stomach, and my eyes became dizzy. Family law? It's so majestic. I stared at the person who called himself my "biological father"— seeing how impatient he was in punishing his biological daughter because of an outsider. Just as the butler's trembling hands were about to pass the stick— “What are you guys doing?” A voice as cold as ice rang out from the top of the stairs. Trinh Hoang Vien's hand raised in mid-air suddenly stopped. Lam Van's face, full of bitterness, immediately froze into surprise. Trinh Thien Thien snuggled in her arms, her whole body trembling. I raised my head, through the blur of tears, I saw a backlit figure standing there stairs. Trinh Ky Xuong?! Wasn't he on a business trip for three days? “Ky Xuong, you… you came at the right time!” Lam Van was the one to react the fastest, immediately starting to accuse: "Quickly look! This girl Su Moc, she-" But Trinh Ky Xuong's eyes never stopped on her for even a second. He took long strides, step by step, walking straight towards me. His face was so gloomy that it could be squeezed out of cold water. “You…” Trinh Thien Thien called out cautiously, trying to attract attention. He still didn't glance at her once. He walked in front of me and sat down. A long, slender hand with clear bones and joints gently touched my cheek—the area that had been slapped until it was red and swollen. “Who fought?” I didn't speak, just looked at him. “I asked, who fought?” His eyes slowly turned towards Lam Van. She was stared at awkwardly, unconsciously taking a half step back, but still speechless: "It was him! It was he who bullied Thien Thien first! He forced Thien Thien to kneel in front of the room door!" Trinh Hoang Vien also immediately chimed in: "Yes! Ky Xuong, don't let her fool you! This girl is too cruel, the Trinh family can't keep her!" “Get rid of it!” “Get rid of it immediately!” Trinh Ky Xuong seemed not to hear anything. He gently helped me up from the ground. His arms firmly hugged me, like an immovable fulcrum. Leaning against him, the pain in my lower abdomen seemed to subside somewhat. At this point, he raised his head and looked coldly at the two angry "parents". “Go away?” He sneered, his voice filled with sarcasm: "What right do you two have to chase away someone who has been in your debt for eighteen years?" Trinh Hoang Vien was so angry that he was shaking: "You! You go against both parents for that child?!" "Brother, don't blame your parents..." Trinh Thien Thien's drama began. She cried as she broke free from her mother's arms, her tear-stained face looking at Trinh Ky Xuong: "It's all my fault, I should have left, I shouldn't have made it difficult for my parents..." "Perhaps... perhaps it's because my sister has suffered in the countryside for so long... that's why there's resentment in her heart... that's why she treats her like that..." "I don't blame her, really..." These words made Lam Van and Trinh Hoang Vien even more heartbroken: "Look! Look at Thien Vien." How much does Thien understand? Lam Van pointed at me and shouted at Trinh Ky Xuong: "Look at it! From the moment I got here until now, besides causing trouble, what else can I do?!" Trinh Ky Xuong quietly listened to everything. Waiting for everyone to finish speaking, he slowly opened his mouth: "Trinh Thien Thien, you're lying." Trinh Thien Thien's face turned pale instantly. She tried to endure, tears falling more intensely: "I don't... why do you think like that?" “Every word you say is true!” Trinh Hoang Vien immediately interrupted: "Thien Thien is right! We all saw it with our own eyes!" “With your own eyes?” Trinh Ky Xuong's eyes swept across like a sharp blade: "Did you see Su Moc forcing Thien Thien to kneel? Or did you see her ordering Thien Thien to be a servant?" He paused, then looked down at my stomach—where the red shoe prints still remained. “I just saw footprints on my sister.” Trinh Hoang Vien and Lam Van's faces turned from green to white. Trinh Thien Thien still tried to struggle: "I'm not lying! My sister really said that!" “You can't be so biased just because she's your younger sister!” She almost screamed, her voice choked. "Okay." Trinh Ky Xuong suddenly burst out laughing. Older brother Looking straight at her, his eyes were so calm that it was scary. “In that case, you and I will make a bet.” “If I can prove it—everything that happened today was done by you, reversing black and white…” “What do you think?” Trinh Thien Thien was stunned. Her heart was beating like a drum, but... she couldn't back down. Behind her is absolute trust from Trinh Hoang Vien and Lam Van. She bet... Trinh Ky Xuong was just threatening. She gritted her teeth and shouted: "If I lie even half a sentence—" "I will leave the Trinh family on my own and never come back!"
