Chapter 3
Chapter 3 — After the Trauma I Forgot Part of My Memories
7After being discharged from the hospital, Pho Thoi Du picked me up and took me to his private villa. Just as the summer vacation was about to begin, Pho Thoi Du decided to ask me to take a leave of absence from school, so that I could study again after the school opened. When we got to the parking lot, he carried me into the elevator. He bent down to look at me, his voice gentle. "Does it feel uncomfortable to hold you like this?" During my stay in the hospital, Pho Thoi Du took care of me so well that I almost got used to him, I felt a bit hot in my ears. "No, honey." I answered softly. He smiled and picked me up a little more. My chin rested on his shoulder, feeling extremely secure. The moment the elevator closed, suddenly a hand blocked the door. "Bui Gia." It was Giang Thieu who had just arrived in a hurry, his black hair on his forehead was wet with sweat. "You easily agreed to live with him?" His eyes contained anger. I don't understand why my sister's boyfriend keeps clinging to me, but it's not a good thing either way. Furthermore, Pho Thoi Du showed me the video from the surveillance camera at home. From that perspective, it was clear that he and my biological sister pushed me down the stairs. Therefore, when I looked at Giang Thieu, my eyes involuntarily carried a bit of hostility. "What does it have to do with you?" My biological father and stepmother were on vacation in the Southern Hemisphere, and Fu Thoi Yu was the only person taking care of me while I was in the hospital. Therefore, he naturally became the only person I trusted after losing my memory. "You really don't remember me?" Giang Thieu raised his hand, wanting to pull me back. "Obviously... the person I'm closest to is always you." His hoarse voice made him look a bit pathetic, but I didn't believe him. And for some reason, deep down, I had feelings of opposition towards this person. My hand placed on Pho Thoi Du's chest pulled back. "Brother." I frowned, looking at my boyfriend who had not said a word until now. "Yes?" "Why don't you chase him away?" Let someone else bother your girlfriend. I pursed my lips and looked at him dissatisfied. "If you do that, it will make me feel a bit weak." My voice was serious, thinking it would make Pho Thoi Du uncomfortable, but he just smiled slightly, as if agreeing with what I said. "It's my fault." He gently patted the back of my head, then hugged me. My eyes were submerged in darkness, the surrounding sounds became clearer. "Didn't I tell you last time, don't bother her to rest anymore." Pho Thoi Du said in a gentle voice as if asking for advice. Giang Thieu smiled faintly, not really happy. "Do I need you to tell me? It's best for you to let Bui Gia down now." The next second, through the gap, I saw Pho Thoi Du's bodyguard appear again quietly. One of them kicked Giang Thieu to the ground and knelt in front of Pho Thoi Du. Giang Thieu gritted his teeth. "Damn..." Pho Thoi Du put his hand over my ear, but I still faintly heard it. His voice was still gentle, but carried an undeniable authority. He was like a noble person elegantly judging a criminal. "I don't like anyone bothering Bui Gia. Just like you certainly wouldn't want your sister in Burlington to suddenly disappear, right?" Giang Thieu immediately fell silent. "This is the last time I'll warn you." Pho Thoi Du didn't wait for his answer, hugged me and walked into the elevator, the sound of punches and kicks rang out behind him. "Fu, it's useless for you to threaten me! I'll do it! Waiting for the day Bui Gia remembers, sooner or later she will come back to me. Don't forget, before losing her memory, Bui Gia absolutely did not like..."I didn't hear the next words clearly, but before I could think more deeply about these issues, another thing made me worry.
settle. Should we live together... I remembered Pho Thoi Du's words from before. While hesitating and not knowing how to speak, he directly carried me into a room. "You will sleep here." Then he put me on the bed. It's a very feminine room. He knew I still didn't remember, so he didn't force me to share a room with him. Really respect me. Looking at his back, my heart skipped a beat. Pho Thoi Du remembers what I like to eat, what I don't like to eat, and what I'm allergic to. He even remembers many of my little habits. I'm starting to believe that we were once a couple. The main reason is that I realized I was actually starting to like him a little. 8 Deputy Thoi Du was too busy, but no matter how busy he was, he still took the time to take me for a walk, come home to eat with me, and then work in the office at night. I always feel like I should do something for him. So I followed the recipe on the tablet, learning how to cook soup for Pho Thoi Du. As I was concentrating on adding salt to the pot of soup, a pair of arms wrapped around my waist. “Making soup?” His breath blew into my ear. “Yes.” My ears started to heat up. “Who are you cooking for?” I felt he was asking something he already knew, but still answered seriously. “Cook for me.” “You're a good girl.” He hugged me from behind, his lips seemed to touch my ear, but didn't really touch. “Hug Are you not used to this?" "No..." Actually, I want to say, it seems like no matter how much you hug me, I'm already used to it. That day, Pho Thoi Du just stopped there, but I did not expect that the next step would be my initiative.———That day was the first day since I lost my memory, it rained. The cold wind at night accompanied by the roar of thunder made me a little scared. I put on my nightgown and knocked on Pho Thoi Du's door. "What's wrong?" I raised my head, a bit shy. "Brother, can I sleep with you? I'm a little scared..." Pho Thoi Du looked down at me, not answering right away. I'm a bit confused. Aren't we lovers? Does this offer make it difficult for him to decide? It was obvious that he had said something before that he secretly did that... When I was deep in my thoughts, suddenly a pair of arms grabbed my waist and lifted me up. Pho Thoi Du picked me up from the front and sat me on his lap. "Okay." He looked into my eyes and said softly. When I saw that there was a distance of almost one person between me and Pho Thoi Du, I couldn't help but wonder. My boyfriend, it seems a bit too polite... A sudden thunder sounded, I was startled, crawling into Pho Thoi Du's arms. "Honey..." "It's okay." His hand gently stroked my back. "I'm here, don't be afraid, okay?" His voice whispered in my ear, the distance suddenly shortened. I looked up from his lap, my face starting to heat up. "Are we really lovers? If so, why have you never kissed me?" Pho Thoi Du held my back, pulling me close to him. He grabbed my chin, lifted it up, forcing me to look into his eyes. "Do you want to kiss?" I pursed my lips, not answering. This question was too straightforward. Pho Thoi Du gently caressed my lips. "Are you starting to like me?" I thought for a moment, then nodded. "I think I like you." He smiled, slowly leaning down to kiss me. At first it was just a light touch on the lips, then a light bite, until I couldn't help but moan softly, he opened my mouth, swallowing my every breath. I don't know when, he pressed down on me, I was held tightly by his wrists, our fingers intertwined warmly. Pho Thoi Du looked down at me from above.
