Giang Nghi's reaction was no different from Aunt Lam's. Only Lam Tinh is different. Even though I exposed her once, I'm still a bit confused when I see her again, but her possessiveness with Giang Nghi overwhelms everything. She stared at the hand that Jiang Yi had just let go, her eyes full of venom.

"Who let you into my house? Lam Tu Tu, get out of my house now!"

Giang Nghi was stunned, obviously not expecting Lam Tinh to react so strongly. But with just a little hesitation, he still chose to side with her.

"Tu Tu, I'll explain to you later about today's matter. For now, go ahead and find a motel to stay temporarily for the night, is it okay?"

"Tinh Tinh's body is not good and cannot withstand excitement."

I laughed coldly, so angry that I burst out laughing at his hypocritical face.

"Giang Nghi, please wake up. Whose fiance are you? Whose house is this?"

"You two colluded to steal my spot back to the city. I should have kicked you out now. Get out of the way, I'm going to find my mother!"

Seeing that I was determined not to give in, Giang Nghi's face clearly showed impatience.

"Lam Tu Tu, can you please stop causing trouble? Your life is good enough, can't you give Tinh Tinh a little? You also know she has nothing!

I didn't bother to glance at him, I immediately rushed upstairs and found the storage room on the second floor - where my mother was being held. The mother, who was once elegant and dignified, is now extremely pathetic. His face and body were covered in bruises, looking like he had been beaten. Hearing the door open, she raised her head in fear. Seeing that it was me, she opened her eyes wide, shocked.

“Tu Tu… is it really you?”

I rushed to hug my mother. Feeling the skinny body trembling in my arms, thoughts of wanting to kill someone arose in my heart. My mother... in the end, how much suffering did she have to endure? My nose was stinging, I choked out my voice.

“Yes, mom, I'm home. From now on, no one will be able to bully mom anymore!”

I went upstairs and made a lot of noise. Even if Lam Tinh and Giang Nghi wanted to hide it, they couldn't hide it anymore. Curious guests began to watch, wanting to know what was going on. Seeing me hug my mother, everyone was emotional.

“What is this? Why does the Lam family lock up a woman like this?”

“That's right, he still looks beaten. Lady Lam, Miss Lam, aren't you two going to explain?"

The faces of Lam Tinh and Aunt Lam were now extremely unsightly. Giang Nghi immediately stepped forward, blocking the two people.

“This person is a former patient of Director Lam, suffering from mental disorders.”

“She kept saying she was Mrs. Lam, those injuries were self-inflicted due to illness, and had nothing to do with Tinh Tinh or her mother.”

"And her daughter, probably hereditary, also insisted on claiming to be my fiancee."

"I'm sorry for making everyone laugh. Now I will take both mother and child to the hospital.”

Giang Nghi's words made the crowd seem to calm down. Everyone knows that he is the future son-in-law of Director Lam. Could it be that even his fiancee and mother-in-law mistakenly recognized him? Mrs. Phuong - the person who once blocked me from entering the house - also jumped out to join in, pointing at me and scolding my mother.

“Are you crazy about wanting to climb high? I don't know where this mother and daughter come from When you get out, do you know what Lady Lam's identity is? She is Commander Co's only daughter! Do you two even dare to make up stories about the connection?"

"Still trying to squeeze in and be a junior in someone else's house, what a despicable thing!"

“That's right, that's right! This mother and daughter are truly frogs sitting at the bottom of the well, dreaming in vain!”

My mother and I were pushed to the ground by those people. Giang Nghi just stood there, looking coldly, completely indifferent. Even though I knew early on that he was not a kind person, my heart still couldn't help but ache. I wondered if I had ever done anything wrong to him. Even though we couldn't eventually become husband and wife, at least we grew up together for more than twenty years. So how could he be so ungrateful? My mother couldn't understand it either. She is the person who almost raised Giang Nghi. The child who once obediently called her "auntie", now dares to slander her as crazy? Could it be that he doesn't have any guilt in his heart? Just as my mother was about to open her mouth to question, Giang Nghi roughly pulled us downstairs. The stairs were quite steep, and with just a little mistake, I was pulled hard by him, causing me to lose my balance and fall down. A sharp pain shot up from my ankle, my mother screamed in panic, saw my ankle was swollen, and her eyes were red.

“Tu Tu, are you okay? Let's go to the hospital to check it out!”

At this point, she no longer cared about her identity being switched, her eyes only had concern for me. Giang Nghi's eyes glanced at my feet, showing a hint of regret.

“Sorry, I didn't mean to hurt you, I just…”

“Brother Giang Nghi!”

His apology was interrupted by Lam Tinh. She looked at him with tears in her eyes.

“If you choose her, then we're done.”
