Chapter 1 — Christmas Fairy Tale at Ma Palace

Updated 10/08/2026 7 min read

I am a Demon Princess, but I was born with a pair of peach blossom eyes with dim fairy energy. The day I cried out into the world, the Demon Palace's murderous aura retreated thousands of miles, and in its place, an entire peach forest bloomed. The Celestial Clan's Old Ancestor leaned on his cane and trembled as he reached the door: "This child is the lost immortal fetus of our Celestial Clan." My demon lord's father smashed the table with a palm: "Fart! This is my lord's biological daughter!" The ancestors of the two clans quarreled for seven days and seven nights, fighting from bloodline to fortune, fighting from cause and effect to fate. Finally, I opened my eyes and spoke in a childish voice: "Dad, that white-bearded old man is so fierce." The Heavenly Clan's ancestors shed old tears on the spot: "It's over, it's been destroyed by demonic energy." My demon lord father raised his face to the sky and laughed loudly: "See? This is my deity's lineage!"

The night I was born, there was not a single moonlight in the sky above the Demon Palace. Dark clouds piled heavily on the top of Cuu Trong Dien, like an upside-down iron pot. His father stood outside the palace, wearing black armor, still clutching the broken sword he had just brought back from the battlefield. Throughout the palace, ghost generals knelt down in one area, no one dared to raise their heads. Because in the delivery room, there was no cry that should have come from a ghost. There is only a very faint floral scent. The witch knelt on the doorstep, her face as white as paper. His father glanced at him.

“Speak.”

The ghost's lips trembled.

“Your Majesty, your little Highness has been born.”

His father's fingers tightened, the sword broke into iron filings in his palm.

“Why don't you cry?”

The man put his head on the ground.

“Already crying.”

"But that cry doesn't sound like a Demon."

Outside the palace, it suddenly fell silent. Demonic newborns cry when they are born, the first sound can break even candles. If it was a royal bloodline, the cry could even call the blood moon. But the crying in the delivery room was light, like the wind passing through a peach branch. Father strode in. The moment the door opened, all the magic flames in the temple simultaneously lowered. It's not a turn off. It's like seeing something that shouldn't be seen, automatically bending the flame to bow. The queen mother lay on the black jade bed, her face pale, but she smiled and looked at him. In his arms he held a small bundle of diapers. I'm right in there. Don't cry. No fuss. Just open your eyes wide. In those eyes there was neither the bright red fire of the Demon Race nor the dark fog of the Netherworld. There is only a layer of very pale blue light. As clear as just being washed with Thien Ha water. The father paused. He conquered the four seas and eight wastelands for thirty thousand years, slashed heavenly generals, tore dragon bones, and never backed down even once. But at that moment, the person stood still by the door, not moving for half a day. The queen mother called softly: "Come here and look at this guy's daughter." Father stepped forward. I look at people. The murderous aura on his body was so heavy that it could crush a mountain. But as soon as he got close to me, the black mist on my shoulder suddenly dispersed a layer. The emperor's face changed. The witch bowed her head even closer to the ground.

“Your Majesty.”

“The killing intent is retreating.”

The royal father coldly glanced over.

“Shut up.”

The person reached out to hug me. A ghostly lantern in the corner suddenly appeared suddenly burst. Not crushed by murderous intent. But from the heart of the lamp, a tiny peach blossom blooms. Immediately after that, the second flower, the third flower. From the window bars to the floor tiles, from the base of the pillar to the throne, each delicate pink flower petal sprouted one after another. The magic palace has not grown any plants or trees for three thousand years. But that night, at the heavenly palace where I was born, peach blossoms bloomed and covered the ground. The ghost generals outside the temple were in complete chaos. Someone shouted loudly: "Immortal energy!" His father turned his head and looked back. That demon general immediately slapped his own mouth, hitting him until the corners of his mouth bled.

“Your subordinates deserve to die.”

The emperor did not say anything. He just picked me up. I am very light. The person's movements were stiff, like he was holding a weapon that could break at any moment. I blinked. A flower petal fell onto the person's knuckle. That flower petal was not burned to ashes by demonic energy. On the contrary, it clings obediently to human hands. The mother-in-law smiled.

“She's not afraid of you.”

The emperor bowed his head and looked at me. The murderous aura in the bottom of his eyes slowly subsided.

“My lord's daughter, of course I'm not afraid of my lord.”

The speaker is really tough. But the arms holding me didn't dare use any more force. At this moment, a bell rang outside the Demon Palace. It's not a joint battle of the Demon Race. It is the Common Sound of the Celestial Clan. Each sound followed one another, piercing through the dark clouds, echoing in the sky of the Demon Palace. The demon generals simultaneously drew their swords. The father's eyes were cold.

"Who dares to ring the bell to the deity's door?"

Outside the palace gate, the palace leader staggered and rushed in.

“Your Majesty, the heavenly gate has opened.”

“The Heavenly Clan has arrived.”

The emperor smiled coldly.

“Come to recharge?”

The commander raised his head to look at me, then immediately lowered his head.

“They said, the Demon Palace descended to a fairy child.”

“I want to pick up your little highness.”

I lay in my father's lap, stirring a little. All the peach blossoms in the palace simultaneously bloomed more brilliantly. Father bowed his head and looked at me, suddenly bursting into laughter. That laughter shook the dark clouds on the roof of the palace, tearing a crack.

“Pick it up?”

The person hugged me and walked out of the palace.

“This deity wants to see who dares to touch a single finger of this deity's daughter.”

The electric door opened. Under thousands of black jade steps, the white clothes of the Celestial Clan covered the sky. In the first row, an old man with white hair and beard leaned on a cane and looked up at me. He only took one look, and the stick in his hand fell to the ground.

“Found it.”

“She's back.”

Outside the Demon Palace, sword energy and fairy light collided violently. Under the black jade steps, the Celestial Clan stood in a white area. The demons stood in a pitch black area. In the middle there are only ninety-nine steps. Whoever strikes first will overturn the old debt of the past three hundred years. Father hugged me and stood at the highest place. The man was wearing black armor, his eyes were oppressive, making the heavenly soldiers below unable to hold their swords. But the white-bearded old man did not back down. He bent down to pick up the stick, his hands still shaking. But his eyes looked at me, like looking at a light that was about to go out but suddenly lit up.

“Devil, please give the child to the Celestial Clan.”

The emperor laughed. That smile didn't have a single ray of warmth.

“You're old, you don't speak clearly anymore Star?"

“This is my daughter.”

“Who did you tell me to hand over to you?”

The army standing behind the old man took a half step forward.

“Monster is careful with his words.”

The royal father raised his eyes.

"You also deserve to tell this deity to be careful with his words?"

The demon generals simultaneously took a step forward. The ground shook. Thien Quan's face darkened. The white-bearded old man raised his hand to stop him. He looked at me in his father's arms, his voice lowered.

“There is no demon bone on this child.”

As soon as these words were uttered, the Demon Clan immediately exploded.

“Be rude!”

"That old man, you dare to curse his highness!"

“Your Excellency, this subordinate please respond to battle!”
