Chapter 4
Chapter 4 — Five Years After the Truth
I said, "Because after being resuscitated, my father couldn't stand any more excitement."
“My mother couldn't sleep all night.”
“Every time I hold a pen, my hand shakes.”
“It's not that I don't want to study for the exam again.”
“But I was dragged down to pieces by you guys.”
Her crying stopped momentarily.
6
I stood up.
“Now you just say something wrong and want to turn the page?”
“It's not that easy.”
Hooc Ky suddenly spoke up: "Le Toc, who gave you these recordings?" I looked at him.
“I guess.”
He frowned.
“Are you Sam Yeu's uncle?”
I don't answer. Suddenly a man's voice was heard outside the door.
"It's me."
Everyone turned their heads. A man wearing a gray coat stood at the door. His hair was gray and his eye sockets were hollow. When Tan Man saw him, his face immediately turned pale.
“Qin Shao?”
The man entered. He looked at Sam Yeu.
“Yeu Yeu.”
“You're here to repay your debt.”
Tan Thieu is Sam Yeu's uncle. Five years ago, he worked as a temporary review officer at the district admissions office. Not a big official. But he knows the process. Also know where to take advantage of loopholes. After he entered the hospital room, Tan Man rushed forward like crazy.
“What did you come for?”
“Do you want to harm us?”
Tan Thieu did not avoid it. Let her hit you twice.
“Sister, that's enough.”
“That year I came up with the idea.”
“But everyone agrees.”
Just one sentence. Tan Man was completely stiff. Sam Yeu trembled even more violently.
“You…”
Tan Thieu looked at her with complicated eyes.
“Don't call me.”
“In these five years, have I ever had a peaceful sleep?”
“The day I received my admission notice from Kinh Thanh University, my mother told me not to mention it again.”
“Your father slipped me twenty thousand yuan, saying we were all one family.”
“I cried and said I would study well and become better than others in the future.”
He smiled bitterly.
“But what happens after becoming superior?”
"I faked my degree, faked my poverty certificate."
“I also told the unit that Le Toc bullied me that year.”
The people in the hospital room sucked in a cold breath. I looked at Sam Yeu.
“You really didn't waste me at all.”
The last layer of disguise on her face crumbled.
"I do not have!"
Qin Shao took out a USB.
“There is a recording of the phone call from that year.”
“There is also a money transfer transaction that your mother gave me to erase my history.”
Qin Man shouted: “Qin Shao!” Tan Thieu closed his eyes.
“I surrendered.”
This sentence was like a thunderclap. Tan Man's legs were weak and he almost fell down. Sam Yeu was stunned. Hoc Ky was also stunned. I wasn't surprised. Three days ago, Tan Thieu came to the law office to find me. He sat in the reception room, his hands kept shaking. He said: "Miss Le, I'm about to die."
“End-stage liver cancer.”
“I don't want to take this to my grave.”
I looked at him.
“Now you realize you still have a conscience, it's too late.”
“I know,” he said.
“I don't ask for your forgiveness.”
“I just wanted to leave these to you.”
He gave me the recording and the money transfer history. He also included a secretly recorded video of Sam Yeu and his mother discussing in his house that year. In the video, Tan Man said: "The Le family has money, if they can't get into Kinh Thanh University, they won't starve."
“Yeu Yeu of our family other."
Sam Yeu bowed his head and did not object. She only asked one question: "So does Hooc Ky hate you?" Tan Man laughed.
“Idiot.”
“As long as I get into Kinh Thanh University, who will remember Le Toc?”
They all thought no one would remember. But I missed it for five years. Tan Thieu placed the USB on the table in the hospital room.
“I will coordinate the investigation.”
“If compensation is needed, compensation is required.”
“If you need to go to jail, go to jail.”
Tan Man went crazy.
“If you go to jail, stay in jail!”
“Why do we have to drag Yeu Yeu down with us?”
“He was only eighteen at the time!”
I said coldly: "Eighteen years old, not eight years old." Tan Man glared at me.
“You must destroy it, right?”
I laugh.
“I also asked your daughter this question five years ago.”
Sam Yeu suddenly crawled up. She rushed to the window and pushed it open.
“You all forced me!”
“It's okay if I die!”
Everyone shouted.
“Yeu Yeu!”
Hooc Ky rushed to hug her. Tan Man cried and knelt down.
“Girl!”
“Don't scare me!”
7
Half of Sam Yeu's body hung out the window, crying until his heart was broken.
“Le Toc, are you satisfied?”
“Don't you just want to watch me die?”
All eyes turned to me. I stood still, not moving. Hooc Ky shouted at me: "Le Toc, first of all, don't provoke her!" I looked at Sam Yeo by the window.
“Jump.”
The hospital room was as silent as death. Sam Yeu was stunned. I walked forward step by step.
“Five years ago, I stood on the rooftop of the teaching building.”
"There's no Hooc Ky hugging me down there."
“Without my mother kneeling down and begging me.”
“There isn't a bunch of people saying don't provoke me.”
“Only you sent me a text message.”
I took a screenshot from my old phone. I saved that message for five years. Sent by Sam Yeu.
"Toc Toc, don't be like that, everyone is very tired."
