Three months after winning the VCC championship, Bach Ung Gaming held a season closing ceremony at the Thien Truong gymnasium, where Yen Chi's entire tumultuous journey was witnessed. The ceremony brought together all team members, management, and numerous fans who have followed and supported the team throughout the memorable season.

Yen Chi stood on stage, looking down at the sea of people below, feeling a deep sense of gratitude. She thought about the journey she had gone through — from a girl who had resigned herself to death in injustice in her previous life, to a champion who stood firm with her own strength and bravery in this life.

"Before ending this season," the host said, "we would like to take a special moment to appreciate those who have made silent but extremely important contributions to the team's success. Please invite manager Chu Bach Khang to the stage."

Bach Khang stepped up and received warm applause from the audience. He stood next to Yen Chi, both of them looking out at the sea of people below.

"I want to say a few words," Bach Khang started, his voice echoing through the microphone, "about the colleague who taught me that, sometimes, the bravest thing is not never to be afraid, but to dare to stand up for the truth even in the face of the people you love the most."

He turned to look at Yen Chi, his eyes holding something much deeper than the usual admiration of a colleague. The whole stage, the whole audience, seemed to be waiting with bated breath.

"Yen Chi," he said, his voice trembling slightly, rarely seen in a person who is always calm, "I have been observing you since the first training session I took the job here. At first, I simply admired your talent and tenacity. But over time, I realized, I not only admire you as an excellent player, but I also... I also love you for who you really are — a person who dares to stand up for what is right, dares to love without limits, dares to live. perfect for yourself."

The stands were silent for a moment before erupting in excited whispers. Yen Chi stood there, her heart pounding, feeling the entire camera focusing on her, but this time, she didn't feel pressured or want to avoid it.

"I know this isn't the usual moment to say this," Bach Khang continued, "but I think, after everything we've been through together, I don't want to wait another moment for you to know my true feelings. Yen Chi, do you want to give me the opportunity to accompany you, not only as a colleague, but as a life partner, on every journey ahead?"

Yen Chi stood still for a moment, emotions rising to the point that the corners of her eyes stung. She thought about the long journey she had gone through - from the pain of being betrayed to dying alone in her previous life, to the days of fighting alone to protect herself in the early days of this life, until meeting the man standing in front of her now, the one who trusted her at first sight, the one who stood by her side through every storm without once asking her to trade or sacrifice anything.

"Yes," she replied, her voice shaky but firm, "I do."

Cheers echoed throughout the Thien Truong gymnasium. Bach Khang smiled, a radiant smile that rarely appeared on his always serious face, gently holding her hand amid endless applause.

In the audience, Luc Thanh Nam and Hoang Thi Nga stood up and applauded, tears rolling down both of their cheeks. Although the journey of reconciliation between them and their eldest daughter still has much to build on, this happy moment of her daughter still filled their hearts with sincere joy.

Trinh Gia Linh, standing next to Dinh Quoc Bao in the team area, shouted with excitement: "FINALLY! I've been waiting for this moment for so long!"

After the ceremony, when the stage lights gradually turned off and the crowd began to disperse, Yen Chi and Bach Khang stood alone in the middle of the empty stage, looking out at the vast space of the gymnasium that had witnessed her entire journey.

"Do you regret anything," Bach Khang asked, his voice quiet, "about everything that happened?"

Yen Chi pondered for a moment, then shook her head. "No. If I hadn't gone through all that, I probably would have never learned to appreciate my true value, never met you, never understood that true love — whether intimate or romantic love — never requires a person to lose themselves in exchange for it."

She looked up at the night sky sparkling with city lit, feeling a complete freedom that she had never felt in any moment of her two lives. No longer the girl who always had to give in, no longer the victim of slanderous plots, no longer the one who had to prove her worth to anyone. She stood here, today, being her most complete self — a champion, an independent woman, and now, someone about to enter a new happy chapter of her life, of her own choosing, of her own making.

"I used to think that happiness is something others give to you when you are obedient enough and sacrifice enough," Yen Chi said, turning to look at Bach Khang, her eyes shining under the remaining stage lights. "But now I understand, true happiness only comes when you dare to stand up for yourself first, then share it with those who deserve it."

Bach Khang gently squeezed her hand, his eyes filled with love and pride. "Then, from today, let me continue writing that happy story with you."

The two of them walked off the stage side by side, the lights of Thien Truong gymnasium gradually turned off behind them, giving way to the gentle moonlight shining down on the road ahead - the road of freedom, of sincere love, and of a life completely built by Yen Chi herself, without the shadow of any forced sacrifices or meaningless concessions anymore.

A few days after the ceremony, the trial of Luc Y Nhi and Lam Dac Uy officially ended. Y Nhi was sentenced to non-custodial reform with compensation for damage to Yen Chi's honor, thanks to her sincere confession and the fact that she had not caused irreparable consequences. Lam Dac Uy, with his role as mastermind and more serious threatening behavior, faced a much heavier sentence, and witnessed the business career he had built for many years almost completely collapse when a series of other partners also withdrew one after another after the scandal.

Yen Chi did not attend the trial, she let her lawyer handle all the legal procedures. She chose to spend that day in a normal practice session with the team, telling herself that it was time for her to let the past truly become the past, to no longer let it dominate her present and future for one more day.

One weekend evening, a few months later, Yen Chi and Bach Khang walked together along the street near the training center, where the warm yellow streetlights reflected on the trees along the road. She told him about her new plans — establishing a small scholarship fund to support young female players who have difficult family situations or have suffered from unfair pressure similar to hers, so they have the opportunity to pursue their passions without sacrificing their self-worth.

"That's a great idea," Bach Khang said, taking her hand. "You're turning your own pain into something good for someone else."

"I think that's the best way to end everything," Yen Chi replied, smiling at him. "Not by forgetting the past, but by turning it into motivation to help those who are going through the same thing."

They continued walking, hand in hand, under the starry night sky. Ahead is a new season about to begin, a new chapter of budding love, and a life of complete freedom that Yen Chi has regained with her own bravery, intelligence and resilient heart - an ending she deserves, after everything she has gone through in her two lifetimes.

Passing by the training center, Yen Chi stopped for a moment, looking into the brightly lit window of the practice room where several young players were still practicing hard even though it was late. She smiled, remembering herself on the night of her birthday, sitting alone in front of the computer screen, determined to rewrite her entire fate with her own hands. Now, looking at the steadfast eyes of the new generation of players, she knew that fire would continue to burn brightly, not only in her, but in everyone who dared to stand up and win their own dreams.

"Let's go home," Bach Khang said softly, gently pulling her hand. Yen Chi nodded, turned and walked next to him, leaving behind the still bright gym lights like a promise for unfinished dreams, and walked towards the open future that was waiting for them both.
