Chapter 7
Chapter 7 — I Just Take Back What Belongs To Me
She shouted.
"I didn't know he was getting divorced!"
"He said the house is his!"
"He gives it to whoever he wants!"
Khuong Vy remained calm.
"In the WeChat chat history, she repeatedly urged Mr. Tran Hao to 'kick that woman out'."
"If so, how can you say you didn't know he was married?"
Chu Nha was dumbfounded. A moment later... She turned to Tran Hao. Eyes filled with anger.
"Tran Hao!"
"You said this house was bought before marriage!"
"You even said she didn't spend any money!"
Tran Hao lowered his head. Don't dare look at her. Chu Nha's voice trembled.
"You lied to me?"
"You lied to me from start to finish?"
The judge knocked his gavel hard.
"Keep order!"
"If the audience continues to cause disorder, the Court will ask to leave the courtroom."
Chu Nha was pulled down by the person next to her. But her eyes were still glued to Tran Hao. As if wanting to tear him apart on the spot. Khuong Vy continued to present.
"From all the above evidence, the plaintiff respectfully requests that the Trial Council cancel the transfer of the house's name."
"At the same time, when dividing assets, please protect the legal rights of the innocent party, Ms. Lam Niem."
The trial adjourned. Chu Nha rushed out, blocking Tran Hao's way.
"You lied to me!"
A slap landed squarely on his face.
"You said the house was bought by you!"
"You said she has nothing!"
Tran Hao hugged his face. Don't dare fight back. Chu Nha cried and screamed.
"Because of you, I quit my job!"
"I'm still waiting for the day I can marry you!"
"Now the house is gone..."
"What do you think I should do?"
Tran Hao was frantic.
"Chu Nha... calm down..."
"Calm down?"
Chu Nha almost went crazy.
"On what basis should I stay calm?"
"Didn't you say this case is sure to win?"
"Didn't you say she had no evidence?"
Passersby stopped to watch the excitement. I stood not far away. Calmly look at everything. Khuong Vy walked over and stood next to me. She smiled faintly.
"Starting to tear ourselves apart."
I nodded slightly.
"It'll happen sooner or later."
On the other side, the arguing grew louder.
"You must compensate me!"
Chu Nha screamed.
"Two years of my youth, what will you give me in return?"
Tran Hao almost collapsed.
"What do you get as compensation?"
"The house is no longer..."
"There's no money left..."
"What do you have left to give me?"
Chu Nha laughed.
"That's your problem!"
"When you lied to me, why didn't you think this day would come?"
I quietly turned around. This play... Is no longer worth watching. Before the final trial... Tran Lo proactively came to see me.
"Sister-in-law..."
As soon as she spoke, her eyes turned red. She hesitantly corrected:
"No... Ms. Lam Niem."
I looked at her.
"I want to say something to you. Is that okay?"
I nodded slightly. We found a quiet corner and sat down. Tran Lo bowed his head.
"Miss Lam Niem... I'm sorry."
"What happened before... I also have some responsibility."
I calmly asked:
"What do you mean?"
She clenched her hands.
"The story between Mr. Hao and Chu Nha."
"Actually... I've known for a long time."
I just looked at her quietly.
"A year ago, I saw the two of them holding hands in the mall."
"I asked Mr. Hao, he said he was just a colleague so I didn't think much."
"After that I saw him buying handbags, buy jewelry for Chu Nha..."
"I knew something wasn't right..."
"...but you didn't tell me."
Tran Lo raised his head. Tears rolled down her cheeks.
"I'm afraid if I say anything, the whole family will turn against each other."
"My mother always told me not to let outsiders know about bad things in the house."
I looked at her for a long time. Then softly asked:
"So what do you want to tell me today?"
Tran Lo took a deep breath.
"I want to go to court and testify."
I was momentarily stunned. She continued:
"I can prove that the relationship between Mr. Hao and Chu Nha started more than a year ago."
"Moreover..."
"It's not like Chu Nha is pursuing him."
"It was he who actively pursued Chu Nha."
I looked at her.
"How do you know?"
"I heard Mr. Hao call you."
"He said Chu Nha has good conditions, a house, a car, and is worth pursuing."
