Chapter 7
Chapter 7 — I Posted My Wife's Photo, and This Happened
The director took a sip of tea, his face expressionless.
“Tieu Vuong, how many years have you been a police officer?”
“Three years.”
"It's been three years, you should know, there are cases that can't be solved. Go out, just follow the normal process."
【Chapter 5】 As Tieu Vuong returned to his seat, the police station door was pushed open again. This time it's not pedaling. Is crashing into. A girl wearing high heels rushed in, her hair disheveled, her makeup smeared, her hand holding her phone high, shouting loudly:
"Wife! Where are you? I saw your mother's story!"
Tran Giai Nghi. My best friend. My best friend and shop assistant. The person I don't want to meet the most right now. As soon as she entered the door, she glanced around, then shouted loudly:
"Oh my god! Venerable, you AGAIN beat your husband again?!"
The word AGAIN. This word was thrown to the ground, the splashing water was enough to drown the last bit of dignity of Co Bac Than. All eyes in the hall simultaneously swept forward. The police officer on duty's mouth opened and then closed, closed and then opened again. The aunt who registered for household registration did not know when she bought a bag of melon seeds, and was loudly "splitting" when biting. The pen in Tieu Vuong's hand completely stopped.
“Tran Giai Nghi!” I gritted my teeth, "Can you please stop using the word 'AGAIN'?"
"Huh? Isn't that the truth? Last time you guys argued, didn't you also —"
“That time it was because he stepped on my lipstick!”
“That's right, that's right, what about last time —”
“Shut up!!!”
My voice rose eight octaves. My scream echoed throughout the hall. Everyone was silent. Including my mother. My mother was silent because she was trying to remember what happened last time. Tran Giai Nghi finally closed his mouth, picked up his high heels - I don't know when he took them off - and walked over to sit down next to me. Then she saw Quy Trach Vien in the corner. Her mouth slowly opened.
“Oh my god…”
“Shut up.”
“Isn't this Quy Zeyuan?!”
I covered my face. Quy Trach Vien also covered his face. Two former lovers who were teased by fate, under the lights of the police station, completed a synchronized face-palming performance. Tran Giai Nghi's neural circuit is completely out of control. The girl slapped her thighs and spanked her, laughing so hard she couldn't stand up straight: "The three of you are all here! Hahahah the three of you are in the same police station! Ex was beaten, her current husband was beaten, and you took action! There are all of you present! What arrangement of fate is this -"
“Tran Giai Nghi!”
“I won't say it anymore, I won't say it anymore.”
She raised her hands in surrender. But three seconds later, she pulled out her phone. I rushed forward and grabbed it.
“What are you going to do?”
“I was just going to post the story —”
“If you dare to post it, I will beat you too today, believe it?”
Tran Giai Nghi's hand retracted. Her survival instinct finally came online at a critical moment. But the mouth still did not stop.
“No, Thu Thu, I just want to know one thing.”
She lowered her voice and leaned close to my ear.
“The time you beat Quy Zeyuan and the time you beat Co Bac Than, which was more brutal?”
I glared at her. She winked at me: "It's just an academic discussion." Quy Trach Vien's ears turned red again. Co Bac Than's boiled egg bit into half and fell to the ground. My father quietly picked up that half of the egg, wrapped it in a tissue, and threw it in the trash. During the entire process, not a single word was said. This is my father. A quiet, resilient man who was beaten for thirty years and still kept his dignity. Tieu Vuong finally couldn't bear it anymore. He put down his pen and walked to the door of the Director's office.
“Headmaster.”
“Huh?”
