Chapter 8
Chapter 8 — Invitation Card Without Me Part
Liu Man was so angry that he burst out laughing. "You didn't see the resignation handover process?" "Just now, didn't you say that the department needed to stabilize?" Khau Hoang glared at her. "Liu Man, don't lead public opinion here." Officer Cao's voice was low. "Please answer the question." Khau Hoang took a deep breath. "I just pressed the wrong button." Nghiem Man said: "That's not right." Everyone looked at her. Nghiem Man pulled down the screen. "In the approval comments section, there are six words written." "Agree, quickly hand over." Phuong Duyet's face completely lost all blood color. Looking at those six words, I became calmer. Turns out they already had a reason in mind after I left. First, use the hotel's remaining money and purchase orders to pressure me. Then use the quitting process to take away my authority. If I don't make a big deal out of it, they can turn this into me voluntarily quitting my job. If I protest, they will say that I voluntarily left the job because I arbitrarily debited it. Each step follows another. Much more complete than I thought. Officer Cao asked, "Miss Truong, is it possible that your account password was leaked?" I said, "No." "Has the computer ever left your sight?" I thought. "After the meeting on Wednesday afternoon ended, when I returned to my seat, my computer was in a locked screen state." "But I remember the position of the note on the desk had been changed." Liu Man immediately said: "That afternoon, Phuong Duyet went to Ms. Lam's desk." Phuong Duyet raised his voice and protested: "I was just passing by!" Luu Man laughed coldly. "Didn't you say that day that you wanted to find her project board?" Phuong Duyet's eyes avoided. "I forgot." Officer Cao took notes. Nghiem Man added: "The company computer, in addition to the password, is also linked to the access card." "If someone gets Truong Lam's card, they can also temporarily access the system." My finger stopped. Access card. Before last Wednesday's meeting, administration announced the need to replace the overlay on employee cards. I gave the card to the administration. Lam Van's face immediately changed. Apparently she thought about that too. Officer Cao looked at Lam Van. "Who processed the employee card that day?" Lam Van's voice was guilty. "I collected the card." "What happened after that?" "Then department head Khau said Truong Lam was about to have a meeting, and told me to give her card to him first, so he could bring it over." Khau Hoang suddenly turned his head. "Lam Van, think carefully before speaking!" Lam Van was so scared that his eyes turned red. "I'm telling the truth." The office turned around again. exploded again. Phuong Duyet suddenly held the table as if he was about to lose his footing. Officer Gao stared at Khau Hoang. "In other words, last Wednesday afternoon, you took Truong Lam's identification documents and employee card." Khau Hoang's lips moved. Before he could speak, the receptionist girl suddenly ran in. In her hand she held a transparent evidence bag. “This was found next to the administrative paper shredder.” “Inside there was half a sheet of paper that had not been destroyed.” Officer Cao took the bag. With just one look, my heart sank. On half of the paper appeared my signature. Below the signature there is a small line of text that has not been completely destroyed. Certificate of voluntary resignation. Half a sheet of paper is placed in a transparent bag. The edge of the paper was chewed by the shredder. But my name is still intact. Truong Lam. The handwriting resembles mine. Even the stop on the last stroke is imitated very closely. Luu Man took a look and his face immediately changed. "This is too unreasonable." "Even the resignation certificate was issued?" I didn't answer. Because I know this is not a temporary intention. They prepared paper documents, system procedures, purchase orders and hotel banquet orders. If Van Lan Hotel doesn't come today. If Nghiem Man did not accidentally block the purchase order. By six o'clock in the evening, perhaps in my system
became a voluntary retiree. Then all the money will fall on my head. If I wanted to explain, I would be turned into someone who quit and then came back to avoid responsibility. Officer Cao held up the evidence bag. "Who printed this document?" The receptionist shook her head. "I don't know." "Everyone can use the administrative printer." Nghiem Man suddenly said: "The printer has an operating history." Officer Cao nodded. "Check." Lam Van quickly led Nghiem Man to the computer to operate. Khau Hoang stood still in place, his face extremely gloomy. Phuong Duyet bowed her head, her shoulders kept shaking. She cried just now because she wanted others to soften her heart. Now she's shaking because she's really scared. I looked at her. “Phuong Duyet.” Her body stiffened. I asked: “When did you know they wanted to make me quit my job?” She raised her head, tears still hanging on her face. “I don't know.” I calmly looked at her. She bit her lip. "I really don't know." Luu Man's voice was cold: "Then why is it you who receives the handover?" Phuong Duyet suddenly looked at me. "It was department head Khau who told me to take over." "He said recently your work status is not good, you might be transferred."
