Chapter 10 — Leave Your Game

Lam Duc Sam smiled wryly:

"Now I've quit the game, trying to follow in your footsteps."

“Wait until I pass the graduate exam and go to the same school as you, can you give me another chance?”

I was just about to speak when the phone suddenly rang. After clearly seeing the caller, I couldn't help but curl the corners of my lips.

“What's wrong?”

The man's clear voice rang out from the other end of the line:

“I miss you so I want to hear your voice to ease my longing.”

I laughed softly:

"I miss you too. When you return home in two days, I will take you out to eat my favorite grilled meat!"

“Okay.”

I hung up the phone and saw Lam Duc Sam stiff on the spot. He asked in a trembling voice:

“Duong Duong, who did you just call?”

“My boyfriend.”

“Do you have a boyfriend?”

I thought and nodded:

"To be precise, it's husband-to-be. We're engaged."

I raised my hand. The ring on the ring finger sparkled in the sunlight. Lam Duc Sam couldn't believe it, he still wanted to struggle one last time:

"But two people in a long-distance relationship... it must be very difficult..."

I shook my head and happily said:

"We have received a job offer from a leading medical laboratory in the country. We will do scientific research together in the future."

“You don't need to worry about this!”
