Chapter 6
Chapter 6 — My Daughter Was Robbed of Her School Placement, I Made Both Families Pay
Father Tong grabbed the phone.
"Van Duong."
"Don't bring up the past again."
"It's very difficult for Van Tinh to raise her child alone now."
"You're the older sister, how about helping her a little?"
"I already helped."
I calmly said:
"I sent her son to study at campus number three in the suburbs."
Tong's mother immediately shrieked:
"How can that place be worthy of Tieu Trach?"
"Then spend your own money to find a better school."
Father Tong tried to suppress his anger.
"Do you have to be that cruel?"
I ask in return:
"When my daughter was told she was not qualified to go to school, did any of you ask a question?"
The other end of the line was silent for a few seconds. Then Tong's mother spoke again:
"But she's okay."
I laughed.
"I remember this sentence."
Tong's mother was about to continue scolding her when Pho Thua Nghien's call interrupted. I hung up the phone at the Tong family and answered the phone. Pho Thua Nghien's voice was very heavy.
"Van Duong, the Song family has come to your company."
"Congratulations."
"They said you forced Van Tinh to take her child away from Giang Thanh."
"Then wish her a safe journey."
His voice became harsher.
"Stop causing trouble."
I looked at the divorce agreement on the table.
"Go back and sign your name."
"I won't cause trouble anymore."
The other end of the line fell silent again.
"Don't want to sign?"
"Or do you not want Tong Van Tinh?"
He lowered his voice:
"I can't bear anyone."
I laughed.
"So you're really greedy."
The words seemed to pierce his heart. The tone immediately became firm.
"Tham Van Duong."
"Don't forget that the house you're living in belongs to the Pho family."
I calmly replied:
"Don't forget either."
"For the past three years, Pho Thi Group's preschool education line has been able to cooperate with Thanh Hoa..."
"...it's because of who made the connection."
He stopped.
"What do you mean?"
I hung up the phone directly. At that moment, Uncle Chau called.
"Miss Tham, the investigation has been completed."
"The cooperation allowance that the Deputy Mayor receives from Thanh Hoa every year is given in the name of the introducer, you."
"Maybe Pho Thua Nghien doesn't know, but his father definitely knows."
I smiled softly.
"Then let the Pho family know."
"I want a divorce."
Uncle Chau asked:
"Do we need to inform Mr. Deputy now?"
I looked towards the bedroom. Niem Niem is sleeping restlessly. I lowered my voice.
"Ah yes."
"Send invitations to the Thanh Hoa board of directors' dinner party to the Pho family and the Song family."
Uncle Chau asked:
"Using your name?"
I thought for a few seconds.
"Temporarily using the name of Thanh Hoa Shareholders' Office."
After hanging up. The doorbell rang. Pho Thua Nghien's mother stood outside the door. Her face was full of anger.
"Shen Van Duong!"
"Do you really want to destroy my son?"
Standing behind her is Tong Van Tinh. She was supporting Pho's mother's hand, looking like half the head of the family. As soon as she entered the house, Pho's mother threw her bag on the sofa.
"I said it a long time ago."
"If a girl finds her way back, there will be no peace in her bones."
I looked at Tong Van Tinh.
"You're really good at calling for reinforcements."
Tong Van Tinh bowed her head.
"Sister, I'm just worried about Thua Nghien."
Pho's mother snorted coldly.
"Don't blame Van Tinh."
"It was I who wanted to come."
She pointed straight at me.
"It's just one class."
"She made a fuss at the company, made a fuss at school, and even asked for a divorce kiss."
"What do you want anyway?"
"I want your son to sign it."
Pho's mother burst out laughing.
"You also deserve to talk about divorce?"
"When you married into the Pho family, the Song family had just paid off their debt."
"If it weren't for Thua Nghien, do you think you would have the life you have now?"
I pushed the file on the tea table over.
"Look carefully at the certificate of ownership."
Pho's mother picked it up. His face immediately changed. The name on this house is mine. She didn't believe it and turned a few more pages.
"How is this possible?"
I calmly replied:
"Premarital assets."
Tong Van Tinh immediately interjected:
"Sister, you're just angry."
"You don't need to use your house to oppress people like that."
I looked at her.
"The apartment you live in."
"Who pays the rent?"
Tong Van Tinh's face stiffened. Pho's mother frowned.
"Which apartment?"
I took out the bill.
"Every month Pho Thua Nghien pays her 50,000 yuan in rent."
"Still accounted for under the company's guest reception expenses list."
Pho's mother turned to look at Tong Van Tinh.
"Didn't you say you rented it yourself?"
Tong Van Tinh was confused.
"I intend to return it."
"It's Mr. Thua Nghien who won't let me pay."
Pho's mother's face became more and more ugly.
"Thua Nghien is so confused!"
I said leisurely:
"It's not just that he's confused."
I took another statement.
"Tong Trach's early education tuition."
"Money for swimming lessons."
"Money for drawing lessons."
"It's all paid for by Pho Thua Nghien."
Tong Van Tinh quickly explained:
"Sister, Tieu Trach calls him uncle."
"He loves the baby that's why."
"So my daughter's piano class..."
"How many sessions has he been absent?"
