Chapter 4
Chapter 4 — My Destiny Is Seventh Brother
I sat down on the chair, my mind confused. Destiny person? Sealed? Kim Dan period? How many more secrets does Tiet Mac have? The heart-protecting jade on my chest suddenly vibrated gently. I looked down and discovered that it had become more transparent and brighter. A dim yellow light passed through inside. Tiet Mac quickly returned, holding a box of food.
“This is bought from under the mountain, eat it while it's still hot.”
He set out the dishes and chopsticks, his movements were gentle as if completely different from his previous messy appearance. I ate a little and secretly looked at him. Under the sunset, Tiet Mac's profile is incredibly beautiful.
“Have you seen enough?” He suddenly turned his head, his eyes filled with laughter.
I coughed and choked, quickly drinking water to hide. Tiet Mac smiled softly, reaching out to wipe away the water stains on the corner of my mouth.
“Eat slowly, no one will compete with you.”
His fingertips were warm, the feeling made my heart beat faster. After eating, Tiet Mac packed up his bowl and chopsticks and sat across from me.
“Since the seal has been released, he said seriously,” “We can begin true dual cultivation.”
My hands trembled, the tea cup almost fell.
“Tonight?”
“No rush.” His eyes flashed cunningly, "First I will teach you the basic mind techniques."
He stood up, lit an incense stick, and the pine scent gently spread.
“This is…”
“Incense calms the mind and is beneficial for cultivation.”
Tiet Mac signaled for me to sit on the cushion, he sat opposite.
“Close your eyes, feel my spiritual energy.”
I followed, quickly feeling a warm stream of power coming from his fingertips. That spiritual energy is like the spring breeze, gently guiding the spiritual energy in our body to operate.
“Follow me,” he said softly, “Don't resist.”
My spiritual energy slowly mixed with his spiritual energy, creating a magical echo. An unprecedented feeling of comfort spreads throughout the body, as if we are bathing in a hot spring, every pore is relaxed.
"Very good," Tiet Mac's voice rang out, as if far away but also very close, "Your talent is very high."
I don't know how long the practice lasted. When I opened my eyes, it was already dark. The light from the candle shined on Tiet Mac's face, making him more mysterious.
“How does it feel?” He asked.
I exercised a few times and was surprised to discover that the spiritual energy in my body had increased a lot.
"It's amazing! Much faster than cultivating on your own!"
Tiet Mac smiled: "That is the benefit of dual cultivation." He stood up and stretched.
"You rest first tonight, I'll keep watch."
“Guard?” I was surprised, "Do we also have to guard within the sect?"
Tiet Mac's eyes became profound: "The seal has been broken, someone may have discovered it." I suddenly felt nervous: "Grand Master?"
“Smart.” He looked at me appreciatively, "Then be careful tonight."
He prepared a bed for me, and he himself sat by the window. The moonlight shone on his body, creating a silver outline.
“Go to sleep,” he said gently, “I'm here.”
I lie on the bed, the jade protecting my heart is close to my chest, warm. Drowsiness gradually came, and before sleeping, I heard Tiet Mac softly say:
“Thank you, my destiny.”

The morning light shines through the window, strewn across the floor like broken pieces of gold. I woke up in a daze and discovered there was a cloak on me. The gentle pine scent belongs to Tiet Mac. In There was no sign of him in the room, so I quickly stood up and opened the window. Tiet Mac was practicing his sword in the yard, his shirt was as white as snow, his sword light was like a rainbow. The image was very different from his disheveled appearance in the main hall yesterday. His movements were like drifting clouds, each sword carrying a sharp wind-cutting sound. Where the sword energy passed through, the falling leaves split in half, the cuts were as smooth as a mirror. I looked blankly, not paying attention to my foot stepping on a tree branch.
“Crack” a light sound.
Tiet Mac's sword immediately pointed at me. When he discovered it was me, his sharp eyes immediately softened.
“Are you awake?” He sheathed his sword and took a few steps to the window.
I nodded, suddenly realizing that I must have looked very messy when I just woke up.
"I'll go get water for you to wash your face." He raised his hand and gently stroked a strand of hair from my forehead.
His fingertips brushed against my ear, causing a slight shiver. Tiet Mac quickly brought warm water and prepared a new towel.
“When did you buy these?” I asked curiously.
“Right after you sleep.” He leaned against the door frame, "Let's go down the mountain."
My heart is warm, he kept watch all night and even went to buy things for me. After washing my face, Tiet Mac gave me a new set of clothes. Light pink fabric, embroidered with tiny peach flowers.
“This is…”
“Try it to see if it fits.” He turned and walked out, "I'll wait out here."
I changed my clothes and suddenly realized it fit me very well. When opening the door, Tiet Mac's eyes lit up.
“It suits you very well.”
I bowed my head and turned around, the hem of my dress like peach blossom petals blooming.
“Thank you, I really like it.”
Tiet Mac raised his hand to pick up the missing thread on my shoulder, then took the opportunity to lean close to my ear:
“Much more beautiful than the gift Great Master gave me.”
The warmth of his breath blew across my ear, making my ears turn red. Just as he was about to speak, the yard gate suddenly opened.
“Seventh Brother, I heard that you…”
The familiar voice suddenly fell silent. Grand Master Brother Diep Yet stood at the door, looking surprised. His eyes glanced between me and Tiet Mac, finally stopping on Tiet Mac's face.
“Who… are you?”
Tiet Mac lazily bowed: "Master Brother, good morning, don't you recognize Master Brother?" Diep Yet was startled, his eyes widened: "Tiet Mac?" He hurriedly walked forward, closely observing Tiet Mac, his face gradually becoming unsightly.
“Are you always pretending?”
Tiet Mac shrugged and did not answer. Diep Yet turned to look at me, his eyes momentarily filled with darkness.
“Little junior sister, it seems you've known for a long time?”
I unconsciously walked closer to Tiet Mac. Tiet Mac naturally stood sideways, protecting me from behind.
“Master, is there anything wrong this morning?” His voice was gentle, but still carried a pressure that couldn't be ignored.
Diep Yet seemed to have regained his composure, quickly returning to his gentle, jade-like appearance.
“I heard that you guys are a couple, I came to congratulate you.” He smiled slightly, "I didn't expect there to be another surprise gift."
His eyes observed Tiet Mac, trying to see through his cultivation level. Tiet Mac deliberately revealed a bit of his Kim Dan period aura. Diep Yet's face changed and he took two steps back.
"Kim Dan period?! Impossible!"
Tiet Mac just smiled and did not speak. Diep Yet quickly regained his composure and forced a smile: "That Senior Brother really hid it well."
“We are all the same.” Tiet Mac told profound implications.
The two looked at each other, as if invisible sparks exploded in the air. Diep Yet suddenly looked at me: "Little sister, Sister Yen Ca is about to return to the sect, she really wants to see you." Yen Ca? Is it the White Moon Light that the text mentioned? My heart suddenly tightened, the jade protecting my heart suddenly warmed up. Tiet Mac quietly held my hand, a warm current flowed into my body.
“That's great.” He answered for me, "We also look forward to meeting Sister Yen Ca."
Diep Yet's eyes flashed with anger for a moment, but immediately returned to calm.
"Then I'll go first." He bowed his head slightly, "See you at the grand ceremony in three days."
He turned and left, his shirt fluttering, bringing with him a cold wind. The yard door closed, I breathed a sigh of relief.
“That person is angry.” I said in a low voice.
Tiet Mac held my hand tightly: "Are you afraid?" I thought for a moment then shook my head: "With you here, I'm not afraid." He smiled softly, suddenly pulling me into his arms.
"That's just like my companion."
My face rested on his chest, listening to his strong heartbeat.
“Your heartbeat…”
“The Golden Dan period is like that.” He let me go, "Let's go, let's have breakfast."
The town under the mountain was bustling. Tiet Mac led me into a breakfast shop.
“Two baskets of dumplings, two bowls of soybeans.” He is familiar with ordering food.
The boss looked at us curiously: "This girl is..."
“My teacher.” Tiet Mac said with pride.
The boss opened his eyes wide: "Seventh Young Master has found a spiritual partner? Congratulations, congratulations!" It seems Tiet Mac often comes here. Hot dumplings were brought out, thin crust filled with filling, and a sweet aroma. I took a bite and the delicious broth filled my mouth.
“So delicious!”
Tiet Mac smiled lightly and gave me a handkerchief: "Wipe your mouth." After breakfast, I feel very satisfied. On the way back to the sect, Tiet Mac suddenly asked: "Do you want to see what I'm really like?"
“Huh?” I was surprised, "Are you not real now?"
He shook his head: "The Golden Dan period is just the beginning." Having finished speaking, he led me down a remote road. The deeper you go, the darker it gets, eventually reaching a hidden cave. The cave entrance is covered with vines. If you don't look closely, no one will notice. Tiet Mac lifted the vine: "Come in here." Inside the cave is another space, a sophisticated cultivation place.
“This is…”
“My secret cultivation place.” He lit a lamp, "No one knows."
The cave is not large, but has everything. The most striking thing is a small formation in the middle, the characters are complex and mysterious. Tiet Mac walked into the middle of the formation and signaled me to come closer.
“Come stand next to me.”
