Chapter 2
Chapter 2 — Prescription in Your Name
Ky Uyen was frightened in her heart, her brain began to rewind the story line in the novel. The mother is sick, the father loves gambling, the younger brother is rebellious, the girl is both beautiful, strong and miserable. The scene before my eyes — isn't it the moment when the pitifully innocent female lead first met the male lead?! A female supporting character wanted to please the CEO for personal gain, so she played cards - in a bar she happened to meet the female lead who was working to pay off her debt, so she deceived and seduced her, drugged her and secretly took her to the CEO's room - both to test her taste and to gain control. Sure enough, that night, the two of them flirted endlessly, and from then on entered a painful love affair: he loved her body, she loved his money. Ky Uyen has not read the next part. But… why are the details different? The male lead not only refused the female lead but also called his personal doctor. Mom, could it be that crossing the book even skews the plot? Thinking of this, Ky Uyen started to feel worried. Originally thought she was just a passing extra, now the script changes direction, will it drag her into the water? She frowned and began to dress the heroine. Because of her position, the other person seemed to really like the cool feeling on her body, sticking close to her, even rubbing his head against her neck and inhaling, his breath hot. Ky Uyen tilted her head before reluctantly buttoning her shirt. She picked up the other girl, letting her arms wrap around her neck. It's a bit heavy, but luckily this body exercises regularly. After carrying her, she planned to take the other person to the hospital. Who would have thought that as soon as he opened the door, he would bump into Tan Trung.
“Why are you hugging her?”
It seemed like he had just finished showering, his body exuded a cold aura. Ky Uyen raised his head to look, he was still not wearing a shirt, only wrapped in a towel, small drops of water fell from his hair, rolled along his solid muscles and disappeared into the fabric.
“I took her to the hospital.”
He was upset: "There's no one else?" Before Ky Uyen could respond, he turned around and shouted out:
“Damn it, are they all dead, is there no one in here?!”
A bodyguard wearing a black vest walked in and bowed respectfully:
“General Qin.”
“Pick it up and take it to the hospital.”
The bodyguard acknowledged him, "Doctor Ky, let me go." Ky Uyen obediently handed it over. Tan Trung looked at her cooperating like that, his face softened a bit.
“If you come here, my wound is torn open.”
Ky Uyen followed him to the sofa and was about to kneel down when she heard him open his mouth:
“I didn't tell you to kneel.”
Ky Uyen rolled her eyes inwardly: Last time I knelt down, you didn't seem to have an opinion. Tan Trung sat in the middle of the sofa, his hands placed arbitrarily on his knees.
“General Qin, or…”
...will you raise your hand a little? Tan Trung glanced slightly. Okay, Ky Uyen shut up. The payer is the biggest. She bowed her head and carefully removed the blood-soaked gauze. Tan Trung tilted his head to look at her - her jet black hair was tied into a small bun, with a small swirl of hair on top of her head. A strand of hair refused to stay still behind her ear and fell onto her cheek. His gaze slid down and stopped at her ear — the skin was very thin, the fluff glistening under the light. After being looked at for a long time, her ears gradually turned red, as if blood vessels were clearly visible. Tan Trung suddenly felt hungry, he licked his fangs. That scent lingers somewhere.
“It's done, Mr. Tan.”
Ky Uyen let go of his hand, raised her head to meet his eyes as deep as ink, so deep that she couldn't see through, making her pause. There's something… not okay. She lowered her eyes, avoiding facing him:
“These days, don't let the wound get wet. If you shower, it's best to use a waterproof membrane.”
"Then I'll go first, Mr. Tan. If you feel uncomfortable, it's best to go to the hospital."
She hinted at being drugged. Ky Uyen carried the medical box, bowed her head slightly, then turned and left, her back drenched in sweat. Mom, the male lead keeps staring like that, who dares to look back. It was even more stressful than doing surgery live for the whole hospital to see, so scary that sweat poured down my back. What if you are tied to a rock and thrown into the river? On the outside, she looks calm, but in her heart, Ky Uyen just wants to run as far away as possible. The room still seemed to have a faint scent lingering around where she had just sat.
“Doctor Ky, did you sleep well?”
The butler smiled and welcomed Ky Uyen down the spiral staircase, without any of the tired and hurried look of last night. What a joke. After many years of studying medicine, Ky Uyen's sleep quality is not bad. Lie down and go to sleep, the emergency bell rings and you wake up, then fall back to sleep again. Last night when I got there it was almost three o'clock in the morning, but there were no working hours, no rotating shifts, no research pressure. Ky Uyen had tears in her eyes and slept straight for ten hours, finding her life extremely satisfying.
“…Sleep is fine.”
