Chapter 3
Chapter 3 — Protect Your Children
"You're idealizing everything too much. What class doesn't have some management measures? You're determined to do it to the end, and in the end, the one who suffers is still your child." That statement is like an old rag, silencing too many parents. I'm afraid my child will suffer, so I'm patient with the teacher. Afraid it will affect the class, the victim is advised to ignore it. Afraid that trouble will fall on your head, talking about other people's pain is just being too sensitive. I put my phone away and went into the bedroom to look at Tri Ha. The boy is doing his homework. When writing the line "I love my school", it stopped for a long time. I don't force my children to write. I picked up the eraser and gently erased that line. "When you can't write that you love, you can write the truth first." Tri Ha asked: "What truth?" "For example, the school has a stadium, a cassia tree, and a Science class that I like." The boy thought and wrote again: "My school has a cassia tree." After writing, he raised his head to look at me. "Mom, can I still love school in the future?" I said: "Maybe. But not by pretending you haven't been hurt.” Parents' open day begins at 3 p.m. I arrived at school twenty minutes early. In the hallway, there were many parents standing and talking in low voices. Occasionally someone looks at me and then quickly turns away. Lo Minh Vien's mother wore a business dress and held the attendance sheet from the parents' committee in her hand. She walked over, smiling very politely. "Mother Tri Ha, today the children are all present. We adults should pay attention when talking." I took the pen and signed. "I will pay attention." She breathed a sigh of relief. I added: "Be especially careful not to let any child continue to be used as a tool by adults." The smile on her face stiffened. The front door of the classroom was slightly open, the tables and chairs inside were arranged in groups. On the blackboard, draw a colorful title: "Clean classroom, let's protect it together." Below the title are pasted several A4-sized sheets of paper. The first sheet is “Duties of the sanitary observer”. The second sheet is “Reminding procedure among friends”. On the third piece of paper, there was a bold line: "Key person needing help this week: Tham Tri Ha." Blood immediately rushed to the top of my head. Below the paper are a few "recommendations": "During recess, do not touch objects arbitrarily." "Do not let soup get on your clothes when eating." "Do not put tissues in your pocket." "Please accept everyone's supervision." There are no three words "most disgusting". Hua Thanh Hoan is very smart. She hid the dirtiest words, leaving behind only seemingly civilized management words. Han Ky Minh's father also came. He gave me a folded piece of paper. "This is the process of events written by my son. He said it's just for you to see, don't read his name." On the paper there weren't many words but it was written very clearly: "Miss Hua said the class must choose the person who needs to be reminded the most. Some people said Tri Ha is disgusting. Miss Hua said this word is hard to hear but can make people remember for a long time."I returned the paper to him. "You just take it. If you need it later, you can decide for yourself later. say or not.” He nodded, the blue veins on the back of his hand appeared. At exactly three o'clock, Hua Thanh Hoan walked into class following the bell. She acted as if nothing had happened, smiling and inviting the parents to sit down. The children sat up straight. Tri Ha was not present. The boy's seat was empty, but there was a piece of paper on the table. I immediately noticed. That was a copy of last night's "hygiene revision pledge". The handwriting is neater than before, clearly someone forced the boy to rewrite it. I turned my head to look at Hua Thanh Hoan. She also saw me but just nodded slightly. "Today's topic activity mainly introduces how students participate in class self-management." She said.
projector. The first page reads: "From peer evaluation to self-improvement — the case of correcting the hygiene habits of grades 2-3." "Children in younger grades need a specific and intuitive educational method. Relying solely on the teacher's teachings has limited effectiveness, so I leave management to the children." She opened the second page. Several photos of children cleaning the classroom appeared on the screen. The third page is a processed statistical chart. The title is “Distribution of reminder votes from friends”. The highest column does not write names, it only says "key subjects in need of help". But all the children in the class knew that person was Tham Tri Ha. I heard a boy in the backseat laugh softly. The girl next to him immediately pulled his sleeve. Hua Thanh Hoan continued to say: "We do not criticize a specific child, but let him know that the group has expectations for him." She picked up the commitment form from the podium. "Today, Tri Ha asked for a leave of absence. Initially, she will read her revised plan. If the parents have come, they can also invite parents to listen to their opinions on their children's behalf." Hua Thanh Nghien's face turned pale. Han Ky Minh's father suddenly raised his head. Hua Thanh Hoan smiled and used a laser pen to point to the first row of seats. "Please, mother Tri Ha, listen to your suggestions for me."
