Chapter 1
Chapter 1 — Reading Fortune Telling Under the Bridge, I Was Arrested by My Ex-Boyfriend and Taken to the Police Station
Under the overpass, I set up a fortune-telling booth, relying on the "blind cat and fried fish" style to get by day by day. That day, a sister came and asked:
“Where is my husband?”
I conveniently point out one:
“Probably dating some demon girl next to the trash can.”
Unexpectedly, the police actually caught a murderer right there, and next to him... there was actually a female demon floating - only I could see it. So I was taken to the station because I was suspected of knowing and not reporting. The person who interrogated me was none other than my ex-boyfriend whom I broke up with. He had a cold face, a righteous aura, and slammed the table:
"Tan Bach Tu! Tell the truth! How do you know the body is there?!"
I had tears in my eyes while pretending to be innocent:
“I said it was the female devil who told me, do you believe it?”
At this moment, the female devil flew in, pointed at the police badge on his shoulder and shouted:
"Oh my god, he's so handsome! I want to be reincarnated as his daughter!"
I couldn't help but laugh out loud:
“She wants to be your daughter, do you plan to get married first?”
My ex-boyfriend immediately turned black, pulled me behind him to shield him, then angrily pulled out a gun and pointed it into space:
"Don't talk nonsense! This is my wife, do you dare come closer and see?!"

My name is Giang Tri, I set up a fortune-telling booth because of reluctance. Since I was a child, I have seen unclean things. This almost scared my parents crazy. They took me to see countless doctors. Finally, an old Taoist told me that I had a "yin and yang eye" and was born to do this job. He taught me a few rudimentary methods, carefully instructing me not to talk nonsense, otherwise revealing my destiny would result in retribution. But my mouth, like a torn cotton shirt, cannot be kept secret. That day on the overpass, a crying sister came to me, saying her husband had been missing for three days. As soon as I looked up, I saw behind her the blurry silhouette of a man, his face dark, blowing cold air at her. My heart was pounding, I knew right away that this guy must be more or less good. I looked back at my sister's appearance, her matrimonial palace was gloomy, but her womb was glimmering with light. It was clear that she was destined to still have children, but the relationship between husband and wife had ended. I clicked my knuckles, actually closing my eyes and guessing, muttering a few words:
"Sister, your husband... I'm afraid he's too prosperous and has been entangled with other people."
After hearing this, she was so angry that her face turned blue:
"I knew it right away! It's hiding in the field outside! Master, where is it? I have to skin it!"
I pointed in the direction the man's ghost flew away, pointing to the big green trash can under the bridge:
“Probably going on a date down there.”
I mean tell you to go call the police, don't barge in yourself. Who would have thought she really believed it, so she turned around and ran straight. Not long after, sirens rang out and the entire overpass was blocked. The police actually found her missing husband in that trash can, unfortunately at that time there was only a cold corpse. The perpetrator, a man wearing gold-rimmed glasses who looked very intellectual, was standing next to the trash can, pretending to be a civilian. On his shoulder, there was a female devil wearing a red dress looking at me proudly and smiling. That smile, both dark and cruel. I immediately understood that the female ghost was the murderer, or at least an accomplice. Just as I was about to pack up the counter and run away, two policemen appeared wearing uniform grabbed me from both sides.
“Policemen, I'm just a fortune teller, that's just nonsense, I don't know anything!”
“Stop talking nonsense, follow us!”
I was thrown straight into the police car, filled with regret. I know this mouth will cause trouble sooner or later! Now it's good, from overpass fortune teller to criminal suspect. Arriving at the police station, I was led into a cold interrogation room. The bright light shining directly on my face made me so nervous that I had to constantly rub my hands. The door opened, and a tall figure walked in, bringing with him a familiar cold air. He threw the file down on the table, raised his head, revealing a face that was both handsome and cold as ice. It's Luc Thoi Xuyen. My ex-boyfriend, whom I broke up with for the reason: "You're too serious, loving you is like reporting work to a disciplinary supervisor." He was wearing a neat police uniform, the badge on his shoulder was sparkling, and his eyes were even colder than three years ago.
“Giang Tri, long time no see.” His voice carried no temperature at all.
I tried to force a smile that was more unsightly than crying:
"Hello Luc... what a coincidence."
“No coincidence.” He pulled the chair down and leaned forward slightly, the pressure radiating out made me suffocate.
"I came here to personally interrogate you."

Luc Thoi Xuyen opened the file, his eyes as sharp as an eagle.
“Full name?”
“Giang Tri.”
“Profession?”
“Unemployed… and part-time occult consultant.” I mumbled more.
He snorted coldly, the tip of the pen swiped across the page, emitting a shrill sound:
“Tell me, how did you know the body was in the trash?”
“I... I'm really a fortune teller.” I want to cry without tears.
“Divination?” As if he had heard the biggest joke in the world, he banged on the table:
"Giang Tri! Where do you think this is? If you are sincere, you will be lenient, if you oppose, you will be severely punished! Don't play those gangster tricks on me!"
His shouting made my ears ring. I pursed my lips and said angrily:
"I tell the truth but you still don't believe it."
At that moment, the door of the interrogation room was opened by a gust of wind, and the female devil wearing a red dress floated in. She curiously circled around, finally stopping behind Luc Thoi Xuyen, her straight demon eyes fixed on him.
“Wow, this police brother is so handsome, full of integrity, and extremely strong yang!”
She reached out her pale hand, intending to touch the badge on Luc Thoi Xuyen's shoulder. I was so scared that my heart was choked - if a person with strong yang energy was touched by a demon, he would have bad luck!
“Don't touch him!” I blurted out and shouted.
Luc Thoi Xuyen and the policeman sitting next to him taking notes were both stunned and simultaneously turned their heads to look at me.
“What did you say?” Luc Thoi Xuyen frowned tightly.
I immediately realized my mistake and quickly waved my hand:
“No… nothing, I said don't touch the corner of the table, it's easy to hit your head.”
The female devil in the red dress was stopped by my shout. She flew in front of me, staring with wide eyes, angrily.
“Can you see me?” She asked in a voice only I could hear.
I didn't pay attention to her, just nervously looked at Luc Thoi Xuyen. He clearly didn't believe my devilish words. He narrowed his eyes and asked:
“Giang Tri, are you hiding something from me? It's best tell the truth. Do you know that murderer?”
“Not familiar! I'm really not used to it!” I'm about to cry.
