Chapter 1 — The Enemy's New Wife

Tong Yen and I broke up and reunited for four years. Because his "adoptive sisters" didn't understand his boundaries, we argued countless times and broke up too many times to count. Everyone thought I couldn't leave Tong Yen, that I would forever be entangled with him for the rest of my life. Anyway, my feelings for him are so obvious. "Yen, your little wife is looking for you to come back again."

His voice was as cold as ice. That was the first time he attacked me because of La Chi Chi. That's when I truly woke up. We've been together for four years. If it weren't for your tolerance, how could La Chi Chi constantly come between us in the name of "adopted sister"?

I feel funny inside. I went to a quiet place. When Co Thua Dich's phone rang again, I pressed the answer button.

“Wife, I miss you so much.”

The call lasted nearly half an hour. When the other party hung up the phone, a light puff of cigarette smoke drifted from behind. I turned my head. Tong Yen wears a long coat, holding a cigarette, lazily blocking the path I intended to return.

“Just because you can't stand La Chi Chi and I sitting in the same place?”

He smirked. Seeing me frown, he stubbed out his cigarette, his voice carrying a command.

“Go and apologize to Chi Chi. If she forgives you, we will be reconciled.”

"Be reasonable, Lam Nhiem. Chi Chi is the youngest among us men, with a somewhat weak personality, but we only consider her a brother."

I don't know how many times I've heard words like that in the past four years. Memories flash by like a torchlight. La Chi Chi took advantage of my absence, undressed and climbed into Tong Yen's bed. Tong Yen was drunk, she used the name of "brother" to hug and kiss him. During the four years, such things happened countless times. I don't believe that with La Chi Chi's attitude, Tong Yen really doesn't feel anything.

I reached out to push him.

“Where did you get that…”

My wrist was immediately grabbed tightly by him. Tong Yen stared at the ring on my ring finger, her face kept changing, and finally burst out laughing.

“I'm married.”
