Chapter 4 — The Ex Doesn't Deserve a Return

His eyes looked at Hua Bui as if he were looking at an unreasonable clown causing trouble. Hua Bui lost more control and his face became gloomier. Co Quan and I started walking again. But Hua Bui suddenly pulled Co Quan back, smiled evilly and said:

"Do you know that Tham Thu has a craving for skin contact? You were taken advantage of."

Co Quan's steps stopped, a cold light appeared in the bottom of his eyes. I couldn't help but clench my fists. The world in my eyes seemed to change from color to black and white. Hua Bui leisurely chased after him, his voice a bit smug and contemptuous.

“She just needs to find a man to ease the symptoms every time the disease occurs. Any man will do. Believe it or not, even the guy on the side of the road will do.”

At this moment, I heard waves of chatter around me.

"It turns out that Tham Thu has a lust for flesh? Will she die without a man?"

"Luckily I'm a woman, otherwise I would have been taken advantage of by her."

Hua Bui seemed to be on the hook and quickly denied. His voice was even higher than before, his tone even more fierce. People often, when being seen through, will try to use exaggerated movements and words to hide their true thoughts.

"Look, if you talk so loudly, don't you want to make a fuss in your girlfriend's ears, make her disappointed in you and then take the initiative to break up? Then you can honestly find me back, right?"

Hua Bui coldly left me these words:

“Don't regret it!”

While leaving, he was not careful enough to crash into the revolving door. Luckily the door was okay.

The next day, I submitted my resignation letter to Co Quan.

“The reason?”

Co Quan sat on a chair working, raised his head and asked me.

“Personal reasons.”

I bowed my head, my eyes avoiding his sight.

“Is it because of what your colleagues said to you yesterday?”

Co Quan asked again. His voice gently passed through my ear, I bowed my head even lower. The boss is indeed the boss. You can't hide anything from me. This morning when I went to work, I could feel my colleagues' eyes looking at me differently than before. I thought I could pretend like nothing happened and go to work normally. I'm just too naive.

“Have you heard?”

A new day, the female colleagues in the bathroom started by sharing rumors.

"I didn't expect Tham Thu to normally look so pure and innocent, but behind her back she has a skin lust disease. I thought this disease only existed in novels!"

"Isn't this a common disease of the female protagonist of adult stories? Hasn't she done it with many men?"
