Dad immediately turned his head, his eyes unable to hide the expectation. Mom gave him a bag of medicine.
“My stomach is not good either, just drink a little wine.”
Dad was stunned, then slowly smiled.
"Okay."
He did not take the opportunity to say another word. Just took the medicine and turned around to leave. After the door closed, my mother picked me up.
"Tri Tri can't bear to leave dad?"
I thought for a moment.
“A little.”
Mom kissed my face.
"It's okay if you don't want to."
I hugged her neck.
“Mom, will we live well in the future?”
Mom looked out the window. The sunset light illuminates the warm room.
"It will. It will be much better than before."
In my previous life, I thought divorce was an evil word my father used to threaten me. Only in this life have I learned that divorce is not a nightmare. Staying in an unappreciated love is a nightmare. Maybe dad really loved us. But he loved too late, awakened too slowly. And I didn't come back ten years later to make you regret it. I came back so my mother could live. Luckily, this time— Mom left Dad first. And finally, she found herself again.
