Chapter 10 — The husband's family controls the finances

Our new family operates entirely according to the “Family Responsibility Roster”. Chu Khai seemed to have become a different person. He learned how to cook rice, although the taste was still just normal. He learned how to use the app to pay, and the mistake never happened again. I put down the book and walked over.
“Let me see.”
The two of us leaned our heads close together, studying the complicated instructions. The sunlight shines on us, warm and comfortable. My phone rang. It's a notification message from the bank. I called him.
"YES?"
He raised his head.
“Tell me, what should we name the child?”
He thought for a moment then smiled.
"If it's a girl, call it Van An."
“What if it's a boy?”
“Call me Chu Ninh.”
he said.
“I hope our family can be forever peaceful and secure from now on.”
I rested my head on his shoulder, looking out the window. The sky is very blue, the clouds are very white. I know. The cold winter filled with calculations, arguments and lies has completely ended. The peaceful spring that belongs to me and Chu Khai has just begun.
