Chapter 3
Chapter 3 — The Money Divider Negotiates
A few seconds later, she took out the resignation form from the drawer. "Mr. Khuong, I only work according to the orders of my superiors." I picked up the pen. "So I'm only looking for people from my superiors." The form was very short. Full name. Departments. Location. Reason for quitting job. I wrote four words in the last entry. The company breached the contract. Phuong Vien saw those four words, her fingers trembled. "Mr. Khuong, if you write like this, it may not be approved." I closed the pen cap. "Then tell them to reject it." "Write clearly the reason for rejection." She bowed her head, not daring to advise anymore. As soon as I walked out of the human resources office, the phone rang again. This time, it's Luc Minh Vien. I looked at the screen, but didn't pick up the phone. The bell stopped ringing. Then it rang again. It wasn't until the third time that I answered the phone. Luc Minh Vien tried to keep his voice very low. "Where are you?" "Company." "Come to my office." I smiled slightly. "Mr. Luc, I'm no longer a senior leader, I'm afraid it's inconvenient to come into your office." The breathing on the other end of the line became heavy. "Khuong Tu, don't get angry with me." "Bach Xuyen just called me, saying he was suspending the signing." "What do they mean?" I looked at the corporate culture wall at the end. hallway. On it were written eight words. Working together, creating the future. I said: "You should ask Bach Xuyen." Luc Minh Vien said every word. "They said, if you're not present, the contract won't be signed." I didn't answer. There was silence there for a few seconds. Then the voice rose higher. "Khuong Tu, come back here immediately!" "Tomorrow's meeting you must attend!" I leaned back against the wall, changing hands to hold the phone. "In what capacity?" Luc Minh Vien seemed to be restrained. A few seconds later, he said: "Project consultant." I replied: "The advisor does not have the right to approve, does not have the right to sign, does not have the right to negotiate." "This is what President Han personally informed me yesterday." Luc Minh Vien's voice became even deeper. "Then temporarily restore your authority." I asked: "What about the bonus?" He paused. "The bonus has already finished the process." "So the contract also lets the person finish the process and negotiate." On the other end of the line, the sound of a cup falling on the table was heard. Luc Minh Vien suppressed his anger. "Now is not the time to worry about money!" I looked out the window. "Yesterday it was right." "When the 86 million was divided, it was right." "When kicking me out of the leadership group, it was right." "When changing my position, it was also right." Luc Minh Vien said nothing. I continued: "Whoever divides the money, that person goes and negotiates." On the other end of the line, there was only the sound of breathing. Immediately after that, Han Trieu's voice intervened. He's probably right in Luc Minh Vien's office. "Khuong Tu, don't think of yourself as the center of the universe!" "The customer was just temporarily fooled by you." "I leave tomorrow, I can still sign as usual!" I put the phone away a bit. Wait for him to finish speaking. "Then go away." Han Trieu grinned. "Do you think the company can't operate without you?" I replied: "Not absent." "So don't call me anymore." I hung up. The elevator just barely reached there. The door opened, inside was Old Tan of the legal department and Tieu Dien. Tieu Dien saw me, his eyes lit up. "General Khuong, have we heard that Bach Xuyen has paused the signing?" Old Tan glanced around, lowering his voice. "Are you really not going?" I stepped into the elevator. "I have already filled out my resignation letter." Tieu Dien panicked. "So what should the project do?" I pressed the button to go down to the first floor. "The project is not mine." Old Tan was silent for a while. "But in the contract there are three clauses to ensure risks. "No, it's because you personally negotiated the price with Mr. Nghiem." "Han Trieu basically doesn't know how to explain those three terms." I raised my eyes to look at him. "Isn't he the main negotiating representative of the group?"
Why?" Old Qin smiled bitterly. "He even took the wrong version of the contract addendum." The elevator went down. The numbers for each floor jumped continuously. Tieu Dien gritted his teeth and said: "Mr. Khuong, they are too much." "The bonus is not divided among us, the credit is taken away." "Now the customer refuses to sign, and wants the boss to come back and save the situation." I looked at my reflection on the elevator door. "It's not because they want to." "But they force it." must do so." The elevator reached the first floor. The door opened. Down in the hall, Luc Minh Vien's secretary was waiting outside. She trotted over, her face full of enthusiasm. "Mr. Khuong, Mr. Luc invites you to return to the meeting room immediately." I did not move. The secretary's voice lowered. "Mr. Bach Xuyen is here." I raised my head. Outside the hall's revolving door, several black commercial vehicles stopped. Nghiem Chinh Thanh stepped down from the car in the middle. Following him was Bach Xuyen's legal and investment team. At the same time, Han Trieu led a group of people out of the elevator. He still had a wry smile on his face. "Mr. Nghiem, why are you here so early?" Nghiem Chinh Thanh did not look at him.
