Chapter 4
Chapter 4 — Transforming into a Little Villain's Stepsister
13
I almost rushed out the door in a staggering state. Quickly catching a taxi, I followed the street to find Tran Tinh Ly. His phone ran out of battery and turned off a long time ago. I have never regretted it like I do now. I was so angry that I slapped myself a few times, causing the driver to startle and advise:
“Don't get excited, you'll definitely find it!”
I searched all the major roads, but couldn't see any sign of him. Having no other choice, I got out of the car and went down the small roads. Under the torrential rain, I ran along the area around the shopping center, looking for him and shouting his name. I couldn't find it. In a moment of desperation, I remembered the system and hastily summoned it. Finally determined the location. In a small hut on the side of the road, the teenager huddled on a wooden bench. Soaked clothes stuck to her skinny body, cold and wet.
“Tran Tinh Ly!”
I shouted loudly, rushing towards him. His tightly closed eyes suddenly opened. Almost without thinking, I jumped in and hugged him tightly. My face was wet, I didn't know if it was rain or tears.
“Sorry…”
The disordered heartbeats were close together, as if merging into one. Calming down, I let him go, bowed my head, not daring to look.
“Sorry, I did it on purpose, I'm sorry.”
After saying that, I was so worried that my heart was beating fast. What will his eyes look like now? Cold? Contempt? Or hate? He was always gentle with me, but I only knew how to take advantage of that kindness and throw it away without hesitation.
“Forget it, you don't need to forgive me.”
The prolonged silence made me feel pathetic.
"I deserved it. If you want to hit me, scold me, just do it. It's my fault, I'm really sorry."
Before I could finish my sentence, a familiar warm embrace pulled me into his arms.
“It's okay, sister.”
I was stunned, not daring to believe my ears.
“But… I intentionally left you there, intentionally made you have to walk home in the rain…”
I stammered, but he interrupted me.
“But now you've come to find me, right?”
In my heart, a corner that had been cold for a long time suddenly melted.
“So, it's okay, sis.”

“Host, are you sure you won't come back?”
“Yeah, sure.”
“What about Chu Thu Y?”
I bowed my head, gently stroked the bracelet on my wrist, then looked up and smiled:
"It's a very beautiful memory, but the most important thing is to cherish the present. Right, what about those comments..."
The system as understood, replied:
"This world previously had some temporary errors, but they have been fixed. The happiness in the future is only for the two of you to feel, the audience can only wish you happiness!"

Three years later. In front of the university gate, I waved goodbye to Tham Tac. When I turned around... Knock! I encountered a solid chest. I held my head, frustrated:
"Tran Tinh Ly! Why don't you say anything?"
His cold eyes retreated from afar, and when he looked at me, he became gentle again:
“Sorry, next time it won't be like that again.”
After speaking, he hesitated a bit, pretending to be indifferent and asked:
“Who was that guy just now?”
At this moment, all my attention was focused on the cup of milk tea in his hand. I casually replied:
“Ah, the president of our dance club.”
Tran Tinh Ly helped me insert the straw into the glass and pass it over:
“Look Okay."
I nodded and added:
“That's right, he's the most handsome guy in the club, he's also a great dancer, a lot of girls like him a lot.”
Just finished speaking, I raised my head and saw Tran Tinh Ly pouting and walking forward with a cold face. I didn't know whether to laugh or cry, so I quickly chased after him:
“Of course he's not as handsome as you! Besides, they already have someone they like, just looking for me to discuss the art performance just now."
It seemed like his mood was soothed and his footsteps slowed down:
“Um.”
I blinked happily:
“Ah, there's a super hot trend lately, you know?”
“What trend?”
“Call me ‘Tim tuch’!”
Tran Tinh Ly: “…”
“No.”
“Call, hurry up!”
“No.”
“Hurry!”
“No.”
Oh? Stubborn too. I immediately jumped onto his back, my cold hands crawling into his collar.
“Call quickly!”
“No!”
3 a.m. I staggered out of the dormitory, yawning and shivering from the cold. Downstairs, Tran Tinh Ly stood there with all kinds of big and small bags, looking very carefully prepared. Frustration welled up, I snapped:
“Do you have to wake up this early just to watch the sunrise?”
He carefully put a piglet hat on my head, wrapped the scarf around me and softly explained:
“There have been so many people climbing the mountain these days, I'm afraid we won't be able to get there in time.”
I grimaced, flicked my hat down:
“I don't like wearing pig hats.”
So Tran Tinh Ly took off his hat, put it on his own head, then rummaged in his pocket, took out a baby bear hat, and patiently put it back on for me.
“Let's go!”
Three hours slowly passed. Tran Tinh Ly pulled and supported me, finally pulling me up to the top of the mountain. I was exhausted, laid my head on his shoulder and fell asleep without realizing it. A moment later... The first rays of light crept across the horizon, pale yellow and then gradually brighter. They penetrate each layer of clouds, painting a glorious picture in the sky. Tran Tinh Ly raised his hand to wake me up to watch the sunrise, but seeing that I was fast asleep, he gently lowered his hand and helped me adjust my scarf. Hesitating a bit, he gently hugged my shoulders, letting me lean into his arms. In the distance, the long mountain range was covered with a layer of splendid golden light, as if the whole world was burning in dawn. Tran Tinh Ly bent down, the light dancing on her slightly trembling eyelashes. He carefully placed a kiss on my forehead, his voice as gentle as the morning breeze:
“Happy birthday, Tran Gia Ngu.”

I never slept. Just clearly feeling those soft lips placed on my forehead made my heart flutter a little. I hesitated, not knowing whether to continue pretending to sleep or jump up and tease: "Ha! I caught you!” Suddenly, warm breath blew into my ear.
“Tran Gia Ngu, you're awake, right?”
My eyelashes trembled slightly, my heart pounded. Finally, I reluctantly opened my eyes, pretending to be dissatisfied:
“How do you know?”
Tran Tinh Ly looked at me, the corners of her lips curled up:
“I just know.”
He paused for a moment, then continued in a low voice:
“So…”
I know what he wants to say. But still acting like nothing happened, moving on to other things:
“Wow, the sunrise is really beautiful!”
Tran Tinh Ly was slightly disappointed but still smiled slightly, trying to appear comfortable:
“If you like, I'll take you every week.”
“Stop it, I'll break if I climb it once legs!”
“Okay.”
He turned his eyes to the rolling mountains again. I quietly looked at his face shining in the morning sun, my heart suddenly fluttered. Without thinking much, I suddenly leaned over and placed a kiss on the corner of his lips. Tran Tinh Ly was stunned. It took a while before he dared to believe it and turned to look at me. I remember the little teddy bear that is always washed and placed next to my pillow every day. Smiling slightly, I softly said:
“Me too.”

My parents are very comfortable. After all, I am an adopted child, so everything went smoother and simpler than I thought. Hand in hand, Tran Tinh Ly and I pushed the door open and entered the house. From inside, the warm voices of parents rang out:
“Are you back? Quickly wash your hands and come in to eat. Oh my, long time no see, why are you so plump!”
