Chapter 4
Chapter 4 — Translating the Book into the Mother of the Three Villains
On the screen appeared a silver-haired leader - Academician Ly - with a radiant smile that could not be hidden.
"Miss Lam Van, good news! Extremely good news!"
"All three children have adapted very well! Thua An is currently assisting scientists in optimizing the defense system of the national power grid! Thua Binh has the ability to control fire with precision down to the molecular level, we are trying to let him participate in the project to ignite a controlled fusion reaction! And An An is... even more amazing! She and her 'Mushroom' have cultivated three super strains of fungi that can effectively decompose plastic waste. Damn! You two are like a mobile biological miracle factory!”
Academician Ly spoke excitedly like a cannon, and I was dumbfounded listening. It's only been a week?! My three house-destroying children have just entered the hands of the nation and have begun to bring glory to the country?
"So... are they familiar? Are they causing trouble?"
I was still a bit worried and asked. Academician Ly's smile paused for a moment, then became somewhat strange:
“That story is… familiar, but…”
He hesitated.
“But so what?”
My heart skipped a beat.
“All three of us signed the proposal to the base's supreme council.”
Academician Ly coughed lightly and said: "They said they are willing to cooperate in studying and researching, but on the condition that... every week, you must come to the base to visit them once." Me: “Huh?”
“They said if they couldn't see their mother, they would... go on strike.”
Academician Ly looked helpless:
"Thua An threatened to hack the base's network system, Thua Binh wanted to melt the entire cafeteria refrigerator, and An An... she said she would make everyone's lunches grow mushrooms."
Me: “…” As expected, they are my children – genuine little villains. Having arrived at the national base, I still did not forget to create a "sense of existence" for my mother. 6. So I was "forced" to start the weekly trip to visit my children at the "Pan Co" base. Every time I go, I have a special plane to pick me up and receive the same treatment as a head of state. The first time I arrived, I was overwhelmed by the scene before my eyes. The "Pan Co" base was built on an island floating in the middle of a sea of clouds, white buildings filled with a sense of modern technology sparkling in the sun, carrying the breath of the future. I got to see my three children again. They all wore specially made silver uniforms, their faces were clean and bright, their hair neatly combed, they looked truly elite. As soon as they saw me, the three of them immediately rushed forward like three artillery shells.
“Mom!”
Co Thua Binh hugged my leg, raised his tiny face, eyes sparkling:
“Mom, I learned how to grill chicken wings over fire! It's so delicious!”
Co An An pulled my hand, as if showing off a treasure, showing me a small bracelet on my wrist - a bracelet woven from vines and flowers, whose petals were still glowing gently.
“Mom, this is 'Mushroom's' new friend named 'Tieu Hoa', it can clean the air!"
Only Co Thua An still remained cold, standing to the side, but his eyes were glued to me and wouldn't let go. I patted each child's head in turn, a warmth welling up in my heart.
“It seems like it's good for you guys to live here.”
“Yes!”
Co Thua Binh nodded like a chicken pecking rice:
“Everyone here is good and teaches me many things very!”
“But,” Co An An pouted, “they don't let me plant mushrooms under my pillow to sleep.”
I tried to hold back my laughter and turned to look at Co Thua An:
“What about me? Did it cause any trouble for anyone?”
Co Thua An shook his head and replied in a low voice:
“No. I just helped them write some programs.”
Academician Ly next to him immediately chimed in and added:
“It's not just a few programs! Ms. Lam Van, your son single-handedly upgraded the base's firewall system to three levels! Right now, the boy is… the chief consultant of our cyber security department.”
A chief advisor… just five years old. Okay, that's reasonable. I stayed and played with them all day. Co Thua Binh took me to visit its "fire laboratory", excitedly demonstrating how to use a small fire to accurately sculpt on ice. Co An An took me to her "eco-greenhouse", where all kinds of exotic flowers were grown, including a "Mushroom" tree that was half a person tall. Co Thua An took me into his private office, which was filled with sophisticated equipment and data screens that I couldn't understand. It also demonstrated how to "silently" take over the traffic light system in the city, causing all vehicles to automatically give way to my specialized vehicle. I promptly stopped this dangerous idea and at the same time strictly taught my children a lesson about ethics and civic responsibility. Even though I have given it to the country, I still absolutely cannot let go of the responsibility of being a mother.
