Chapter 6
Chapter 6 — After Betrayal Comes Peace
On the other end of the phone, Co Yen So's voice rang out:
"Kieu Kieu, where are you? Don't you live in that residential building? Why do they say you haven't returned in the past few days?"
"Why didn't you come to the shop? Did you guess I would keep coming to find you? Did you not want to see me that much?"

Before, I still didn't understand. Ha Du and Co Yen So clearly have nothing to do with how they look at each other, so how can they interact with each other? Now I understand. They are inherently the same type of person. Self-righteousness. Assuming that everyone in the world must revolve around them.
“Don't rate yourself so highly.”
My voice was extremely cold.
"I only come to the shop every Monday. If there's something wrong, I'll wait until Monday to tell you. If you continue to cause trouble in my shop, I'll invite you two to the police station to sit down!"
I hung up the phone. Not long after, the young student sent a text message: 【Master, they're gone. As we walked, we argued. Both wanted to come on Monday but no one was willing to give in.】 I didn't say I only met one person. It is also unknown what the current status of the two of them is. Even a small matter like that causes a fight. Two days later, Luc Ung Tham returned with his daughter to survey another place. As soon as father and son entered the door, they asked me to carry them. You can't even carry them together. If I carry anyone for more than a minute, the other person will make a fuss.
"How old are you? How old is she?"
It was very difficult to get my daughter to sleep. I glared at Luc Ung Tham dissatisfiedly. The man with a reputation for being fierce outside immediately blushed:
“I don't love you anymore.”
I helplessly rubbed his face:
“Why are you fighting with your daughter?”
Luc Ung Tham silently hugged me:
"You must be my wife first and then your mother. The people who will live with you for the rest of your life are the two of us. You must love me more than you love your daughter!"
Leaning on his lap, I secretly rolled my eyes. Obviously he is the one who pampers his daughter more. Like me, Luc Ung Tham's parents passed away early. Since childhood, he has relied on each other with his grandmother. After his daughter was born, he was afraid that his grandmother would urge him to have a son, so he hid everyone and had him sterilized. As soon as his daughter learned to speak, every time he went to discuss cooperation, he brought her with him. Partly because she was exposed to and influenced in such an environment from a young age. Another part is also to let tenants and partners know how much he values this daughter. After a moment of intimacy, Luc Ung Tham quietly asked me:
“Are those two people coming to find you again?”
I was not at all surprised when Luc Ung Tham found out. I soon got used to his desire to control and possess.
“Yes, tomorrow they will probably come to the shop to look for you.”
“Tomorrow I will come to the shop with you.”
"Aren't you going to the company? Those people have been waiting for you for a long time. Didn't you say there were many things waiting for you to decide?"
“No rush.”
If Luc Ung Tham said it was not in a hurry, I would not continue to advise. At nine o'clock the next morning, a family of three of us had breakfast while opening the restaurant. Five minutes past nine. I hadn't even started preparing when Ha Duu walked in. She looked at Luc Ung Tham cleaning the table, then looked at her daughter obediently sitting on a small chair drinking soy milk. Extremely complex expressions.
“Kieu Kieu, they are…”
“Husband and my daughter.”
Tieu Mach raised her head to look at Ha Du. Then, she stood up and waddled towards me. The girl signaled that she wanted to whisper to me. I squatted down, leaning close in front of my child.
“Mom, I don't like this aunt.”
Children don't know how to control the volume at all. The whisper that she thought only I could hear was actually heard clearly by everyone in the room. I looked at Ha Duu's dark face.
