Chapter 3
Chapter 3 — After Mom Remarried, I Inherited 40% of the Shares
The headquarters of Hung Su Group stands tall in the city center. The building is so tall it seems to reach the clouds. As soon as I entered the lobby, I was stopped by the receptionist.
"Girl, who are you looking for?"
Her smile was very professional, but her eyes carried some scrutiny. That's right. I wore a simple t-shirt, jeans, and a student backpack on my back. No matter how you look, it looks like a schoolgirl going to the wrong place.
"I'm looking for Chu Khai."
The receptionist was a bit stunned.
"May I ask, do you have an appointment?"
"Do not have."
"That's no good. If you don't have an appointment, you can't come see me."
The smile on her face faded a bit. I won't explain further. Just took out my phone and called lawyer Tan. Then turn on the speakerphone.
"Lawyer Tan, my name is Hua Niem."
"I'm at the company but the receptionist won't let me in."
Lawyer Tan's voice immediately became serious.
"Miss Hua, please wait a moment."
Less than a minute later. The elevator door opened. A woman wearing a business suit walked quickly towards the reception desk.
"Which girl is Ms. Hua Niem?"
The receptionist pointed towards me with a bewildered expression. The woman immediately changed her attitude.
"Miss Hua, hello!"
"I am Vuong Linh, secretary of the President's Office."
"I'm sorry for our negligence. I'll take you up right away."
This time it was the receptionist's turn to be dumbfounded. She looked at me as if she had just seen something unbelievable. Secretary Vuong led the way ahead. Personally press the dedicated elevator to the top floor.
"Miss Hua, Manager Chu's office is on the twenty-first floor."
"No need."
I calmly replied.
"Take me to the president's office."
Secretary Vuong was stunned for a moment. But he quickly nodded. Chairman's office. Where my father used to work. After his death, that room was always kept intact. The door opened. The scene inside appears before your eyes. Large ground-level glass windows cover the entire city. Everything is still kept as clean as when Dad was here. I walked behind the desk. Slowly sit down. The large leather chair still seemed to retain his familiar warmth. I gently closed my eyes. Take a deep breath. I'm back. A moment later, I opened my eyes.
"Secretary King."
"Yes, Miss Hua."
"Notify Zhou Kai."
"Tell him to come to the president's office to see me immediately."
Secretary Vuong was clearly surprised. But still nodded immediately.
"I got it."
Less than ten minutes later. There was the sound of hurried footsteps outside. The office door was pushed open. Chu Khai walked in. There was also a flattering smile on his face.
"Secretary Wang, I heard someone is coming to the president's office?"
"Could it be that the corporation is about to have a new senior leader?"
He just looked towards the desk. Then the whole person stiffened. The smile on his face disappeared completely.
"Hua Niem?"
"Why are you here?"
The tone immediately became harsh.
"Who let you in here?"
"This is the president's office!"
"Is it a place you have the right to enter?"
"Get out now!"
He pointed towards the door. It looks like you're teaching a child who doesn't understand. Obviously, he completely took on the role of a powerful stepfather. I still sat still. Looked at him coldly.
"Chu Khai."
"I told you to get out!"
He lost patience. Stroll towards me. But at that moment. I spoke up.
"From today onwards go..."
"Hung Su Group is decided by me."
The voice is very light. But it was like a thunderclap exploded across the room. Chu Khai paused. Then burst out laughing. Looking at me was like looking at a psychopath.
"What did you just say?"
"Say it again."
He also deliberately scratched his ears.
"Is this girl going crazy after being scolded by me?"
"Dreaming during the day in the middle of the day?"
I don't laugh. Just calmly open your backpack. Take out a copy of the share transfer paper. Place it before him.
"Hung Su Group."
"40% stake."
"It belongs to me now."
The smile on Chu Khai's face immediately disappeared. He grabbed the file. Eyes opened wider. Breathing becomes more and more rapid.
"No way!"
"It's definitely fake!"
He slammed the file down on the table.
"Hua Chan Hung died three years ago!"
"How can I leave shares to you?"
"You forged documents!"
I calmly replied:
"You may not believe it."
After saying that, I took out my phone. Call lawyer Tan. Still turn on speakerphone.
"Lawyer Tan."
"Manager Chu does not believe in the legality of the transfer paper."
"Please help me explain."
Lawyer Tan's calm voice rang out in the room.
"Hello, Manager Chu."
"I am the lawyer in charge of executing Mr. Hua Chan Hung's will."
"I use my professional honor to ensure that this share transfer document is completely legal."
"Since yesterday."
"Ms. Hua Niem officially became the largest individual shareholder of Hung Su Group."
"In other words."
"Currently she is your senior shareholder."
Chu Khai's face immediately turned pale. He staggered back two steps. Looking at me was like seeing a ghost. Her eyes were filled with panic and fear.
"No way..."
I stood up. Step by step, I walked in front of him. Then stop. Look down.
"I remember at the wedding that day..."
"He once said he wanted to live happily with my mother."
I followed his tone that day. Say each word slowly.
"Okay."
"But start with unemployment first."
I held the phone on my desk. Call directly to the human resources department.
"Hello."
"I'm Hua Niem."
"Notify the entire company."
"Sales department manager Chu Khai was fired immediately."
"Put on permanent non-re-recruitment list."
Listen to that. Chu Khai's legs were soft. He fell to the floor with a thud. The cut surface no longer had any drops of blood. Right at that moment. My personal phone rings. The screen displays two words: I picked up the phone. Immediately, on the other end of the line, Phuong Van Tinh's shrill screams rang out.
"Hua Niem!"
"What did you do to your Uncle Chu?!"
