This time, his tone was much more polite.

“I revoke the last sentence.”

“This troublesome statement was brought by you.”

He stopped for a moment.

"Now it seems, the problem already exists. You just handled it faster than us."

Phuong Minh Vien stood up.

“The meeting is over.”

Everyone left one by one. Very quickly, there were only me and him left in the room. Phuong Minh Vien walked to the window and looked at the city outside.

“Do you know when I received Hang Te's email, what plan did everyone suggest?”

“Let me temporarily not participate in the project?”

He turned his head to look at me. I'm not surprised. This is the safest option. If I were in Hoa Nhac, I would definitely have been pushed out from the beginning. Phuong Minh Vien says:

“But I don't agree.”

He looked at me for a long time.

“I believe you.”

I stopped. He continued:

“Like that day I believed you were at the hotel.”

“It's not because you're from the Tham family.”

“It's not because you have 12% of Thinh Ninh shares.”

“And because from beginning to end, she dared to take responsibility for her signature.”

I looked at him. Suddenly there was a very strange feeling in my heart. Not intense. Not ambiguous. Just very peaceful. Just like in a room full of noise, someone finally understands what you really want to say. I replied softly: He smiled.

“Partner Tham, this sentence does not need to be said between us.”

Before I could answer, the phone vibrated. It's Vien Giai. I picked up the phone. Her voice was very urgent.

“General Shen, something is wrong.”

“What?”

“The project department just had a female employee forced to take responsibility.”

“She said she didn't do anything wrong.”

“But everyone made her sign the minutes.”

When Phuong Minh Vien and I walked to the small conference room on the sixteenth floor, the door was ajar. Inside came the angry voice of a man.

"Lam Ha, this incident was your responsibility in tracking the files. Now that the documents were sent to the wrong partner, do you still want to deny responsibility?"

A very young female voice rang out immediately afterward, both urgent and choked.

"I didn't send it by mistake. The version I sent was the one that was confirmed by the team leader. Then someone changed the file in the shared folder."

The other man smiled coldly.

“You mean someone intentionally harmed you?”

“I didn't say that, I just wanted to check the edit history.”

“No need to check.”

His voice immediately became heavier.

"You are the last person in charge. The responsibility record has been prepared. Sign it."

My steps stopped in front of the door. Phuong Minh Vien looked at me and said nothing. I pushed the door and walked in. There are five people in the meeting room. Vien Giai stood next to a young girl, her face very unsightly. The other girl was about twenty-four or twenty-five years old, wearing a light-colored shirt, her hair tied low at the back of her head. Her eyes were red, but she still tried to stand straight. Opposite her is a slightly overweight middle-aged man, the name tag on his chest clearly states: Project team leader, Ma Thanh. Seeing me and Phuong Minh Vien enter, everyone in the room immediately stood up.

“General Phuong.”

Ma Thanh's expression slightly changed, but he quickly regained his composure.

“Mr. Phuong, partner Tham, why are you two here?”

Phuong Minh Vien did not respond. He looked at me. I went straight to the meeting table and picked up the responsibility report on the table. The conclusion is already written on it. Due to personal negligence, Lam Ha sent the wrong documents not yet reviewed for partners, causing serious impact on the project. Recommend disciplinary action and termination of labor contract. I read to the end and smiled slightly.

“The minutes were written very fluently.”

Ma Thanh immediately said:

"The incident is clear, so the project department handled it first to avoid widespread impact."

I put down the record.

“Where is it clear?”

Ma Thanh paused.

"The partner received the wrong copy. The email sender is Lam Ha. The mailing log can be checked."

I looked over at the young girl.

“Your name is Lam Ha?”

She quickly nodded.

“You said the version you sent is the confirmed version?”

“Is there any evidence?”

Lam Ha immediately took out the computer, but her hands were shaking so much that she entered the wrong password twice. Vien Giai said softly:

“Don't rush.”

Lam Ha took a deep breath and finally turned on the device.

“I saved the sent draft, and there is also a confirmation message from team leader Ma at 3:17 yesterday afternoon.”

She opened the internal chat box. The message appears very clearly. Lam Ha sent the file. Ma Thanh replied:

“This copy is fine, send it to your partner first.”

I looked towards Ma Thanh.

“Team leader Ma, is this your confirmation?”

Ma Thanh's face stiffened slightly.

“At that time, I confirmed that the copy was in the project folder, but I didn't expect that she sent the wrong file.”

Lam Ha immediately objected:

"No. I sent the correct file to the folder you specified."

Ma Thanh pounded the table.

“Are you still arguing?”

I raised my eyes to look at him.

“Team leader Ma.”

“This is not Hoa Nhac.”

“A slap on the table cannot replace evidence.”

The whole room immediately became quiet. Ma Thanh's face turned red. Phuong Minh Vien stood next to him, his eyes cold.

“Look up folder edit history.”

Ma Thanh immediately said:

"Mr. Phuong, there's no need to bother the technical department with such a small matter. I've already asked, the system only records that the last sender is Lam Ha."

I looked at him.

“No need for a technical department?”

“Or don't you dare call the technical department?”

Ma Thanh choked.
