Chapter 3
Chapter 3 — At this point, I don't need to act anymore
She lowered her voice.
"Don't forget..."
"I'm pregnant with Trinh Nghien's child."
"No matter how good you are..."
"It's just the woman he abandoned."
I looked straight into her eyes.
"Pregnant..."
"It's not a talisman of impunity."
"Child..."
"It's not an excuse for you to take things that belong to others."
All the surrounding staff turned their heads to look over. Kieu Man's face turned red.
"What are you guys looking at?"
I curled my lips slightly.
"Don't you like performing in front of crowds the most?"
"Today..."
"With such a large audience, isn't it very suitable for you?"
Kieu Man's tears immediately fell.
"I only love Trinh."
I coldly asked again:
"Love so much that you move into someone else's house?"
"Love so much that you use someone else's husband's money to buy a handbag?"
"Love so much that you know he's married..."
"Still planning on having a baby with him?"
Kieu Man was completely speechless. Someone scolded in a low voice:
"What shamelessness."
Kieu Man turned and ran away. Half an hour later... A long post appeared in the company's internal chat group. Kieu Man said... She was bullied by me. Kieu Man said I was a rich lady and looked down on ordinary girls. She also said that the relationship between Trinh Nghien and I had been broken for a long time, and she was the one who was misunderstood. Initially, the entire company chat group was silent. Not long after, a few people who had been relying on Trinh Nghien for advancement began to join in.
"Chief Hua is really too strong."
"It's difficult for outsiders to talk about love stories."
"Kieu Man is pregnant, don't force her too much."
After reading, I put down the phone. Luc Hanh Chu looked at me.
"Do we need to handle it?"
I calmly replied:
"Just let her post."
"The more she talks..."
"Then tomorrow will be even more interesting."
The next day, Trinh Thi held an all-staff meeting. Trinh Nghien was also present. But he is no longer in the chair. Just sit quietly in the second row. Kieu Man followed beside her, her eyes red as if she had just suffered a terrible injustice. The entire auditorium was full. As soon as he saw me, Trinh Nghien spoke coldly:
"Hua Van, do you have to do it so that the whole company knows about it?"
I calmly replied:
"That part of the letter was not posted by me."
Kieu Man bit her lip.
"I'm just telling the truth."
I opened the slideshow screen.
"Then..."
"Let's look at each story one by one."
First page. A document verifying her educational qualifications. Second page. It's the entire history of her and Trinh Nghien staying in the same hotel. Third page. This is a detailed list of the amounts Trinh Nghien used company money to pay. Fourth page. Yesterday's long article by Kieu Man placed next to all the comparative evidence. The whole hall was immediately in an uproar. Kieu Man stood up.
"It's all my privacy!"
I looked at her.
"When you used your so-called privacy to sell carpets and gain pity..."
"Why don't you remember the word 'privacy'?"
"Now the evidence is presented..."
"Did you just remember that you still have the right to privacy?"
Trinh Nghien lowered his voice.
"Hua Van, that's enough."
I turned to look at him.
"It's not your turn yet."
The screen changes to another page. They were fake job applications signed by Trinh Nghien himself. The representative of the Board of Directors stood up.
"Sir Present."
"The company will pursue all related damages."
Trinh Nghien's face turned pale.
"I can compensate."
I calmly said:
"Refund..."
"Just the first step."
"You still owe the company a public explanation."
Trinh Nghien clenched his fists. At that moment, Kieu Man suddenly spoke.
"Mr. Trinh, don't be afraid."
"She just wants to force you to bow your head."
I looked at her.
"If you love him that much..."
"Or you should first return all the money the company spent on you."
Kieu Man immediately stood stiffly in place. Someone below laughed. Her face turned red.
"That's a gift from Mr. Trinh to me."
I ask again:
"Where does that money come from..."
"You really don't know?"
Kieu Man immediately fell silent. I stepped forward.
"Today I only say one sentence."
"Someone else's position..."
"It's not like you can steal it just by crying for a few hours."
The whole hall suddenly became quiet. Kieu Man hugged her stomach.
"I... I'm not well."
Trinh Nghien immediately ran to help her.
"She is pregnant."
"Do I have to force her to death before she agrees?"
I looked at him.
"Did I force her to get pregnant?"
In the hall, someone couldn't hold it in anymore and burst out laughing. Trinh Nghien's face turned red because he lost face. Kieu Man couldn't act anymore, so she had to let him help her out. But the two have not gone far. Outside the door, Kieu Man's voice could still be heard.
"Mr. Trinh..."
"You said you would protect me."
Trinh Nghien tried to suppress his anger.
"Can you say a few less words?"
"Now you yourself are still full of trouble."
Kieu Man burst into tears.
"Do you blame me?"
Trinh Nghien shouted softly:
"If I hadn't decided to move into Hua Van's house..."
"Then things wouldn't have turned out like this!"
