Chapter 7
Chapter 7 — Being fired by my husband and Bach Nguyet Quang, I took 60% of the company's shares back.
"You let her believe that Tinh Lan was built by you alone."
"So today..."
"She dared to stand in front of me, taking what belonged to me to beg on your behalf."
Hua Man Ninh's face was extremely ugly. Pho Thua Chau lowered his voice.
"Tri Y, stop talking."
"Why don't you say?"
I walked step by step towards the office.
"If I remember correctly..."
"Are the original records from the early years still here?"
Pho Thua Chau's eyes immediately changed.
"What do you want to do?"
I pushed open the study door. The safe is still there. The password also remains unchanged. My date of birth. It's truly ironic. The safe door opens. But inside was half empty. I flipped through it a few times. Then he raised his head to look at Pho Thua Chau.
"Where is the original share agreement?"
Pho Thua Chau was silent. Hua Man Ninh's eyes wavered slightly. I immediately looked over at her.
"You took it?"
She frantically shook her head.
"Not you."
I stepped closer.
"Hua Man Ninh."
"I'll ask you again one last time."
"Original share agreement..."
"Where are you?"
She suddenly took a half step back. Pho Thua Chau immediately blocked her.
"Tham Tri Y, don't pressure people too much."
I looked at him.
"Do you still want to protect her?"
"I just don't want you to keep losing control."
I laughed.
"Okay."
That smile was so cold that it made the whole room fall silent.
"If that's the case..."
"I'll let the law help me ask."
At that moment, Hua Man Ninh's face completely changed. I picked up the phone and called lawyer Luong.
"Tomorrow morning convene an emergency Board of Directors meeting."
"Add an item to the agenda."
Pho Thua Chau stared at me.
"What content?"
I looked straight at him, emphasizing each word:
"Investigate the person who arbitrarily took away the original share agreement."
Hua Man Ninh's face immediately turned pale. The next morning, the meeting had not yet begun when Hua Man Ninh fell ill first. She cried so much that she couldn't stand unsteadily in the company break room. Several employees who didn't know the truth gathered around to comfort him.
"Miss Hua is so pitiful."
"Isn't General Manager Tham a bit too much?"
"A woman is forced to this extent, who can stand it?"
I pushed the door and walked in. All sounds immediately disappeared. Hua Man Ninh leaned against the sofa, her face pale.
"Miss Tri Y, I really didn't take the agreement."
I put a photo on the table.
"So what is this?"
In the photo, Hua Man Ninh holds a bag of documents and walks out of Pho Thua Chau's underground parking lot. The shooting time was the next evening after I left home. Her lips trembled slightly.
"It's just project documents."
I laughed.
"Do project documents need to be taken from the safe in my house?"
She even tried to make excuses. At that moment, Pho Thua Chau's voice was heard outside. He walked in and looked at the photo on the table.
"That day I told her to go get it."
The whole room immediately fell silent. I looked at him.
"You told her to take my share agreement?"
Pho Thua Chau's face darkened.
"I was just worried that at that time you were emotionally unstable and would take the agreement and do something impulsive."
I laughed so much that I found it ridiculous.
"So you let her into my house."
"Open my safe."
"Get my documents?"
"It's also our home."
"Deputy Thua Chau."
I stared at him.
"Yes Have you forgotten?"
"That house is in my name."
The expressions of all the surrounding staff changed. Hua Man Ninh lowered her head. I took out another file.
"If the Deputy General admitted it."
"So this is easier to handle."
I turned to lawyer Luong.
"Lawyer Luong, take notes."
Lawyer Luong nodded.
"Noted."
Only then did Pho Thua Chau realize something was unusual.
"Are you recording?"
I calmly replied:
"I'm just worried that you're emotionally unstable."
"I just impulsively denied what I just said."
His expression was extremely unsightly. Hua Man Ninh cried and said:
"Mr. Thua Chau, I'll just do as you say."
Pho Thua Chau looked at her. For the first time, a clear boredom appeared in his eyes.
"Don't say anymore."
Hua Man Ninh couldn't believe it.
"You criticize me for many things?"
I looked at the two of them.
"Don't rush."
"The meeting starts in ten minutes."
"You two have plenty of time to blame each other."
The meeting was only halfway done. Lawyer Luong in turn published the safe repair records, access control data and photos of Hua Man Ninh appearing in the underground parking lot. The faces of the shareholders became increasingly serious. The CFO was the first to speak up.
"Deputy President, the nature of this incident is very serious."
Pho Thua Chau said in a deep voice:
"I admit I handled it inadequately."
"But that agreement hasn't caused any damage yet."
I asked directly:
"So where is the agreement now?"
He was silent. At that moment, Hua Man Ninh suddenly spoke.
"I... I gave it back."
I looked at her.
"Where to return it?"
