Chapter 10
Chapter 10 — Blood Lines Connect Spiritual Roots
Tan Hanh suddenly coughed twice. She said softly:
"Miss Shen was scared, I'm afraid she was thinking too much."
I look at her.
“If Miss Qin feels that this goddess is sentimental, then please investigate to see who the well-dressed maid in the small courtyard in the south of the city belongs to.”
Tan Hanh's face changed slightly. The Crown Prince immediately spoke:
"Father, the maid next to A Hanh has been detained and absolutely cannot leave the palace."
The father said in a low voice:
"Your Highness is talking about the person being detained by the Eastern Palace. The person I captured is the person in the small courtyard south of the city."
The Saint's eyes turned cold.
“Bring it up.”
—
14 The maid in Hanh was escorted into the palace, her hair was messy, and her face was no longer calm. As soon as she saw the Crown Prince, she immediately lay down and cried out:
“Your Highness save the slave!”
The Crown Prince's face was ugly, but he did not speak. The saint looked at Kinh Trieu palace. Phu Doan bowed his head and said:
"When I and the others arrived at the small courtyard in the south of the city, this woman was planning to run away. The incense burner in the yard had not been cleaned yet, and on the talisman there was still red silk from Miss Tham's thread."
The royal historian continued:
“The wizard admitted his crime, saying someone spent a large amount of money, asking him to trap the spirit in Loi Kich Moc on the back mountain, cutting off the protection for Miss Tham.”
The palace was dead silent. The Saint's eyes darkened. The two words "moc spirit" were spoken from Ngu's mouth, causing even the Queen's face to become serious. Tan Hanh suddenly knelt down.
“Your Majesty, the women do not know about this.”
Her voice trembled, tears fell at just the right moment.
"There is indeed this maid next to the people, but after committing a mistake the other day, she was detained by the Eastern Palace."
“If she appeared in the south of the city today, there would definitely be someone acting in the name of a common woman.”
I look at her. Her tears are so beautiful. If I had never seen a cup of poisoned tea or a broken brooch, perhaps I would also feel that she was innocent. The Crown Prince finally spoke:
“Father, this matter has many suspicious points, please give me time to investigate thoroughly.”
The saint asked coldly:
“Thorough investigation?”
"About the tea in the flower garden, I investigated a palace maid who was afraid of crime."
"During breakfast at Truong Ninh Palace, I discovered a maid with a personal grievance."
"Now when setting up an altar to perform forbidden magic, it's still up to the subordinates to take charge."
“Thua Hanh, the subordinates in your Eastern Palace are truly more courageous than the previous ones.”
The prince knelt down.
"I'm irresponsible."
I heard those two words, my fingertips clenched slightly. In His Majesty's words, it's just that the Crown Prince can't control people. It's not that Tan Hanh harmed people. That's still not enough. The elder brother's voice rang out in his heart:
“Tell the wizard to explain where the red thread comes from.”
I raised my head to look at the gray-robed wizard.
“Your Majesty, I want to ask him a question.”
The Holy Spirit gives permission. The wizard knelt in the temple, his face full of despair. I ask:
“Who gave you the red thread?”
The wizard's voice trembled:
“It's that maid.”
We continue to ask:
“Where did the maid come from?”
The wizard trembled even more violently. He said the maid said it was taken by the second lady of the Tham family herself. My heart feels like it's been stabbed by a small needle. Tham Bao Chau. Is she just jealous of me, or has she been dating Tan Hanh for a long time? The queen immediately looked at her father. Parents bowed their heads:
"I have sent someone to guard the second room of the Tham residence. Tham Bao Chau is in the residence and can come into the palace to confront him at any time."
Tan Hanh suddenly raised his head.
"Miss Shen and older sister had a disagreement, and everyone in the capital also knew."
"Maybe it's just an internal dispute of the Tham family, why do we have to drag the Eastern Palace in?"
Her words were extremely cruel. If it is determined that this is an internal dispute within the Tham family, the East Palace can cleanly withdraw. The father's face darkened. But I spoke up first.
“Miss Qin makes a lot of sense.”
Everyone looked at me. I said softly:
“If it was just an internal fight within the Tham family, why was the elder sister able to find a maid next to Miss Qin?”
"If it's just Sister Tang who wants to harm me, why is Miss Qin always in the situation?"
“The cup of tea in the garden has you.”
“Breakfast at Truong Ninh palace with you.”
“Forbidden jutsu also has someone by your side today.”
“Miss Qin, are you really just scared every time?”
Tan Hanh's face was as white as snow. The prince shouted:
“Tham Tri Duong!”
My body trembled. But the red thread on his wrist suddenly felt cold. A terrifying clap of thunder crashed outside the palace. The windows of Death Palace simultaneously shook, and all the candles in the palace bowed down. A smell of burning wood spread out. Everyone instinctively raised their heads. I saw the elder brother's silhouette slowly appear in front of the palace door. The person was dressed in black, the ends of his hair seemed to still carry the embers of lightning fire, his face was as cold as the old rain on the top of the mountain. The palace staff shouted in unison. The guard pulled out his knife, but was stopped by a shout from the Saint. I knelt on the spot, my heartbeat almost stopped. The leader did not look at others. People just look at me.
“Duong Duong, stand up.”
Tears immediately filled my eyes. But I still listened and stood up. The queen held her mother's hand, her face pale. The saint stared at his brother, his voice low:
“What are you?”
The leader calmly said:
“A remnant of the spirit left after the great tribulation.”
The saint asked:
“Why did you enter the palace?”
The elder brother looked at the Crown Prince, then looked at Tan Hanh.
“Someone used her bloodline to trap me.”
“I came to collect my debt.”
—
15 Tan Hanh fell to the ground. She looked at her brother, her eyes finally revealing genuine fear. The Crown Prince instinctively blocked in front of her. The elder brother looked at him, his expression not wavering at all.
“Your Highness protecting her is a personal feeling.”
“But using Tham Tri Duong as a shield is bad karma.”
The Crown Prince's face turned white. He gritted his teeth and said:
“You have never ordered anyone to harm her.”
Chief said:
“You tolerate others to harm her.”
Those five words are heavier than the sound of thunder. In the palace, no one dared to move. I looked at the Crown Prince's back and suddenly felt that he was also pitiful. He wanted to protect Tan Hanh, but did not dare to go against the divine will. He didn't want to marry me, but he also refused to bear the crime of refusing to marry me. Therefore, all the swords fell on people. The saint asked in a low voice:
“Tan Hanh, what do you have to say?”
Tan Hanh cried and shook his head.
"Your Majesty Minh Giam, a common woman is just a helpless girl. How can she command a magician, how can she dare to perform forbidden magic?"
The leader suddenly raised his hand. The incense smoke in the temple rolled back, and a thin piece of paper flew out from the wizard's sleeve. On paper, write down each type of medicinal herb and drawing material. At the end is a small, delicate handwriting:
"Take the remaining red silk, burn three sticks of incense, you can lead the wood spirit into battle."
Tan Hanh's eyes immediately changed. She wanted to rush in to rob her, but was controlled by the guards. The royal physician stepped forward to identify himself and hesitantly said:
“This handwriting seems to resemble the medicine Miss Qin often prescribes.”
The prince turned his head to look at her.
“A Hanh?”
Tan Hanh cried even harder.
“Not me.”
The chief said again:
“Take the bag of incense from her sleeve.”
The guard looked at the Saint. The Saint nodded.
