Chapter 1
Chapter 1 — Change Destiny Thanks to Comments
My best friend and I went into the mountains to pick mushrooms. In the middle of the road, we accidentally lost each other. When I went down the mountain alone, I met someone from the same village. He had wounds on his body and was lying in the middle of the road. I was just about to step forward to save people when suddenly a few lines of comments appeared in front of my eyes: 【This woman is really stupid. Nhi Cau Tu is a famous scoundrel in the village. Saving him and then getting involved with him, the entire village's saliva was enough to drown her.】 【Let her go, she's just a stinking character. In the original work, she helped Nhi Cau Tu down the mountain. When he entered the village, it was already dark, then Nhi Cau Tu clung to him, demanding to be his wife. Not to mention her reputation was ruined, and in the end she was forced to jump into the river.】 【It's a pity that the female supporting character has such a beautiful face and is so young yet she fell into this situation.】 【Who knows what to do, who said the male lead likes her. If she doesn't die, how can the female lead get to the male lead?】 Is the supporting female character that the comments are talking about me? With the thought that it's better to believe something than nothing, I immediately stopped my steps as I was about to walk towards Nhi Cau Tu. I walked lightly, quietly circling around him. Nhi Cau Tu was lying on the ground pretending to be unconscious. Hearing footsteps but not seeing anyone come forward to save him, he couldn't help but open his eyes. As soon as he opened his eyes, he saw Kieu An Hao tiptoeing around him to leave. Don't people in the village say that Kieu An Hao is very honest? This man was lying in the middle of the road, his legs were covered in blood, but she saw that he was dead and couldn't be saved. Nhi Cau Tu is impatient! He no longer pretended to be unconscious and called out loudly:
“Kieu An Hao, my leg is injured, can you help me down the mountain?”
My fingers nervously rubbed the hem of my shirt. I reluctantly smiled:
"I'm so weak, I really can't support you. How about this, I'll go down the mountain and call someone to help."
As soon as he saw that his wife was about to disappear, Nhi Cau Tu immediately became impatient and his voice became much higher:
"My leg hurts so much, I can't delay. Just help me walk slowly, my other leg is still normal, I won't put all my weight on you. You can definitely carry me."
After speaking, he put his uninjured leg on the ground, staggered up and walked towards me. Looking at Nhi Cau Tu's impatient but full of bad intentions face, I completely believed those comments. I immediately threw the bamboo basket containing mushrooms on my back to the ground, turned around and ran straight down the mountain. From afar, I leave only one sentence:
"You just wait there, I'll go down the mountain and find someone to save you right away."
Seeing me run away in the blink of an eye, Nhi Cau Tu jumped and shouted:
“Kieu An Hao, don't go, come back here…”
Running halfway up the mountain, I turned around and didn't see Nhi Cau Tu chasing after me so I felt secure and squatted down to rest for a while. At this moment, lines of comments appeared before my eyes: 【What's wrong with this female cannon fodder? Didn't she save Nhi Cau Tu? It wasn't written like that in the original work, maybe I read the story wrong?】 【It's better not to save. It would be a pity for such a beautiful girl to die.】 【It's just a character in a story, what's so sad about it? If she doesn't die, how can the female lead follow the male lead to the city to enjoy happiness?】 The comments only mention the male lead and female lead, not saying anything at all. name. Going to the city... Is the male lead an educated young man going to the countryside? I temporarily suppressed the doubts in my heart. In the immediate future, going home is more important. I put my hands on the ground and stood up, continuing to run down the mountain. Finally, I was able to enter the house before darkness completely covered the mountains and forests.
“Dad, mom, I'm home.”
Hearing the noise, my mother quickly ran out to greet me. Her voice was both impatient and scared:
"This damn girl, she doesn't say a word wherever she goes. Your father and brother have been out looking for you for half a day."
I was stunned, full of confusion:
“Didn't Ngoc Linh tell everyone that she and I went to the mountain to pick mushrooms?”
Mom shook her head:
"Didn't say. My brother even came to her house to ask, but they said they didn't know."
"Now that you're home, I still have to find your father and brother. Damn girl, remember to say something next time."
Thinking of Nhi Cau Tu still in the mountain, I immediately stopped her:
“Mom, just stay home, I'll go find my dad and brother myself.”
Not far from the gate, I met my father and brother who were looking for me to return. I quickly stepped forward, pulled the two together, and urgently said:
"Father, brother, when I went to the mountain to pick mushrooms, I met Nhi Cau Tu. He is injured, you two should quickly call someone to save him."
Hearing that, my father and brother did not dare to delay. The two immediately turned around and went to the captain's house. They called two more people from the village to go into the mountain and carry the injured Nhi Cau Tu back. The next morning, my whole family was sitting around the breakfast table when a sour, sharp female voice suddenly rang out in the yard:
“Kieu An Hao, get out of here!”
Hearing someone angrily calling my name, I confusedly opened the door and walked out. In front of the yard gate is a simple stretcher. Nhi Cau Tu's face was pale, lying on a stretcher with a half-dead appearance. As soon as Nhi Cau's mother saw me, she immediately rushed over, pointed her finger straight at my face, and loudly denounced:
"Kieu An Hao, open your eyes wide and look! What you have turned my son into!"
My father's face immediately darkened. He took a step forward, stood in front of me, and sternly rebutted:
"Speaking must be conscientious. It was my daughter who kindly informed us, so we called someone into the mountain at night to carry your son home."
