Chapter 6
Chapter 6 — Ex-Wife Takes Power
members of Hang Nghiep's Board of Directors combined.
“Auntie Tien.”
“Don't call me aunt, it sounds very old.” She smiled, "Your father mentioned it to me, saying that his daughter is doing big things these days. I was originally going to wait for you to call yourself, but I waited for a month and still didn't get one, so I had to dial the number myself."
I said nothing.
"The cooperation agreement between you and Thien Thinh, I have seen the terms. Phuong Dich Than is a cunning fox, if he nods, it proves that your plan cannot find any mistakes."
"But you know, having only Thien Thinh is not enough. The old shareholders within Hang Nghiep do not say anything with their mouths, but in their hearts they are all waiting for Luc Canh Tham to come back and turn the deal. You have to make one more serious move."
I held the phone tightly, it was silent for three seconds.
“Aunt Tien, I have an idea.”
“Say it.”
"Regarding the bidding for the Van Cam Project, Hang Nghiep's old plan was independent bidding. But in the scoring rules, there is one thing, the bidding joint venture will be given extra points, with the condition that the combined capacity score of the joint venture must be higher than that of the independent bidding."
“What do you mean?”
"Thien Thinh and Hang Nghiep will form a joint venture. I represent Hang Nghiep, Phuong Dich Than represents Thien Thinh, and we will jointly bid."
The other end of the line was silent for a few seconds. Then Tien Hue Lan burst out laughing.
"This move is very good. Once the joint venture wins the bid, even if Luc Canh Tham returns, he won't be able to overturn the table. Because the name signed on the contract is mine."
“Yes.”
“But I still need someone.”
“Who?”
"The bidding consortium needs a third-party guarantee organization to act as a guarantee, otherwise the approval board will not accept it. Guess who's guarantee has the most weight in this world?"
I know what you're waiting for.
“Auntie Tien, help me this time.”
She laughed loudly twice: "I was just waiting for this sentence from you. In the past, your father helped me, but I still haven't paid this debt of gratitude. Okay, prepare the documents and send them to me, within three days there will be a response." Hanging up the phone, I sat still in the chair. Luc Canh Tham, you thought that when you went abroad, what you left behind was just an empty castle. He didn't know that the people, the roads, the bricks and tiles in this citadel, there were so many things with the surname Co. Chapter 7 The emergency Board of Directors meeting is scheduled for ten o'clock Wednesday morning. At nine fifty, I walked into the conference room. Seven-inch nude high heels, a smoky gray vest skirt, hair pushed behind the ear with a black bobby pin, revealing a sharp jawline. The chair's chair is vacant. That is Luc Canh Tham's position. I pulled out a chair and sat down. The back of the chair is very high, the armrests are cold. Both sides of the long table were filled with people. The gray-haired directors, the finance director with his tie always tied askew, Chu Hoanh Dat's hand not leaving the thermos, and the three directors installed by Luc Canh Tham - wore neat suits, with the same facial expression: Cold, stiff, unconvinced.
“Good morning everyone.”
My voice is not loud, but the meeting room is very quiet, every word is transmitted to the furthest chair.
“Please introduce yourself, I am Co Van Ninh.”
Stop for half a second.
“Starting today, I officially take over the position of Chairman of Hang Nghiep Group.”
“Bang!”
Chu Hoanh Dat high-fived down on the table, the lid of the tea cup bounced up and then fell down with a rattling sound.
“Be rude!”
His neck was red and his voice was high-pitched: "Miss Co!" He deliberately emphasized the word "Miss".
"Hang Nghiep is not your backyard. Replace the President, do you just say one word and that's it?"
Before he finished speaking, the people next to him also followed suit.
"That's right, Mr. Luc only goes on business trips abroad, the company still operates normally."
"Miss Co, you don't even know how to read and understand financial reports. What qualifications do you have to sit in that chair?"
