Chapter 8
Chapter 8 — Exterior Hugs Her Belly, Drives My Master And Mother Out Of The Main Court
Before Bui Nghien could react, the rough-clothed man who had appeared while collecting debts at the tavern was escorted by two servants and stepped forward. The man pointed straight at Lieu Oanh Oanh on the ground and shouted loudly:
“Sir!”
“I recognize this woman!”
"Her name is Thuy Hoa, she is an underground prostitute in Nam Khuc alley!"
"That year, when I received guests, I got dirty and couldn't have children anymore! This woman specializes in deceiving and harming people!"
The evidence is as clear as a mountain. Bui Nghien only felt the world spinning. The bloodline he was so proud of, the woman he risked his life to protect, was actually a secretly pregnant prostitute. The noble and arrogant face that he was always proud of had now become the biggest joke in the entire Giang Ninh city. Extreme humiliation and anger made him completely lose his reason. Bui Nghien roared and suddenly rushed towards Lieu Oanh Oanh.
"You bastard! How dare you lie to me!"
His two hands tightly squeezed Lieu Oanh Oanh's neck. Her eyes widened, her legs kicked wildly. Mrs. Lieu rushed forward to pull Bui Nghien, the three of them directly creating a chaotic group. Lord Trifu Lord Liu fiercely slammed the wood on the table.
"Bui Nghien, as a court official, you secretly nurture prostitutes outside, oppressing the main wife to do her hair."
"Now, in broad daylight, you still dare to blatantly commit an assault in front of everyone. Do you still see what the king's dharma is in your eyes?"
Lord Liu's eyes were as cold as ice. He slowly took out a stack of documents from his sleeve.
"This is a piece prepared by the imperial historian to present to the court. Haha, you accept bribes and embezzle public money."
He looked straight at Bui Nghien's pale face, his voice no longer having any temperature:
“The head on your neck… I'm afraid I can't hold it anymore.”
That one sentence is like a death sentence. Bui Nghien immediately loosened his grip. Lieu Oanh Oanh clutched his neck and fell to the ground coughing, while his whole body was limp, sitting absent-mindedly on the cold tile floor, with only despair and panic left in his eyes.
"Lord Liu... the lower official is unjustly..."
"That money... this official only borrowed it temporarily... he absolutely never embezzled public funds..."
Hearing that, Lord Liu just laughed coldly.
"You still have to rely on the Tham family's money to survive, so what can you pay for it?"
"Using the empty shell of the Bui family to scam money everywhere to patch up the hole, do you really think this official can't see it?"
He immediately shouted loudly:
“Where are you?”
“Escort Bui Nghien back to the temple, waiting for the day of interrogation!”
The two servants stepped forward, one hand forcefully removed the mandarin's hat from Bui Nghien's head, then twisted his hands behind his back and tied them tightly. Bui Nghien tried his best to struggle and turned his head to look at the patriarch.
"Patriarch! Save me! I am the hope of the Bui family, you cannot stand by and watch me die!"
The patriarch stepped back in disgust, as if afraid of getting any bad luck from him.
"Don't talk nonsense! The Bui family doesn't have the kind of descendants who humiliate the family like you!"
Lord Liu turned his head to look at me, his tone softened a bit.
"Lady Shen, if this mansion is the private property of the Tham family, then Bui Nghien's debts and crimes have nothing to do with the Tham family."
“This mandarin allows the lady to retire and take back the palace. Now you can clean up the house yourself."
I stood up, gently adjusted my skirt, then bowed slightly to bow to Lord Liu.
“Thank you for your leadership, sir.”
I turned around and walked towards the door from the street, telling Thanh Hoa.
"Return to the palace, call the entire household to come and clean up the courtyard."
A moment later, the large gate of Bui Palace was completely opened. I sat on the grand master's chair in the main courtyard, coldly looking at the housekeepers as if they were throwing trash and throwing all the luggage of the old lady of the Bui family, Lieu Oanh Oanh, Mrs. Lieu and those other petty servants into the middle of the main street. The old lady was pulled straight across the threshold and thrown out by the two women. She had never suffered such humiliation in her entire life. She immediately pointed at the large gate and cursed loudly.
“Tham Tri Vi! Your single wife! You will not die well! My son will definitely come back!”
I raised the tea cup and slowly blew the foam floating on top.
“Thanh Hoa, closed.”
