Chapter 6
Chapter 6 — Good People Don't Need To Prove For Too Long
She pointed at Lam Tu Ngang.
"Don't regret it."
Lam Tu Ngang looked straight at her.
"What I regret is... not stopping you sooner."
Trinh Vy turned around, yanked the door open and left. Co Nghien Chu looked at me.
"She won't stop."
I bowed my head and continued to look at the documents.
"Then let her come."
Two days later. Sure enough, Trinh Vy appeared again. This time, she brought along several people who were relatives of former shareholders in Lam Tu Ngang's hospital. They sat right in the middle of the clinic lobby, holding banners.
"Oppose outsiders interfering in hospital projects!"
"Oppose capitalist manipulation of healthcare!"
Tieu Dao was so angry that she blushed.
"Doctor Tham, it's clear that they deliberately steered the issue in another direction."
Trinh Vy stood at the back of the crowd, wearing a mask on her face. I stepped forward.
"Trinh Vy, take off your mask."
She didn't move. I coldly said:
"Dare to bring people to cause trouble, but don't dare show your face?"
The shareholders all turned to look at her. Having no other choice, Trinh Vy had to take off her mask.
"Tham Thanh Ninh, I'm just expressing a legitimate request."
A fat woman immediately spoke up:
"That's right. We don't know who you are. We only know that Principal Lam is our person."
I asked her:
"Which shareholder are you a family member of?"
The woman raised her head.
"My husband's name is Ton."
"What is the total capital invested by Mr. Ton last year?"
The woman immediately stopped.
"What does it have to do with you?"
I turned to Co Nghien Chu. He gave me the documents.
"Last year Mr. Sun invested five hundred thousand yuan, the shareholding ratio was less than ten percent."
The woman's face turned red.
"It's also a shareholder!"
"Of course."
I nodded.
"So he has the right to attend shareholder meetings."
"Not for her to run to the clinic to scare the patient."
Someone in the crowd immediately burst into laughter. Another woman stood up.
"Don't use words to pressure people."
"We oppose you because your reputation is not good."
I looked at her.
"Who told you that?"
The woman glanced at Trinh Vy. Trinh Vy immediately turned away. I calmly said:
"Tell it in front of everyone."
The woman stammered.
"Everyone... everyone says so."
I took out my phone.
"Then I'll also say it in front of everyone today."
"Trinh Vy spread false news and publicly apologized."
"If you continue to spread rumors, I will collect all the evidence one by one."
The fat woman was still not convinced.
"Who are you threatening?"
Tieu Dao immediately distributed the documents she had prepared last night to those gathered to watch.
"This is the content of Ms. Trinh's apology letter."
"This is the hospital bill."
"This is a public announcement of advanced study admission."
Everyone started to pick it up and read it. Trinh Vy was impatient.
"On what basis did you spread my apology letter?"
"Since it's a public apology, of course it can be made public."
Co Nghien Chu, standing next to him, added:
"Besides, we didn't change a single word."
The fat woman held the piece of paper, her face full of confusion.
"Trinh Vy, didn't you say she relied on relationships?"
Trinh Vy still tried to resist.
"It's all documents prepared by them. Who knows if it's real or fake."
At that moment, Lam's mother's voice was heard outside the door.
"I know if it's real or not."
She walked in. Following also Several veteran nurses used to work at Nhan Hoa Hospital in the past. One person spoke first.
"That year I worked at the hospital bill collection counter in the boarding area."
"I was the one who did the procedure when Dr. Tham paid the hospital fees for Lam Tu Ngang's mother."
Another person continued.
"There's also the matter of the car."
"We all know."
"At that time, Lam Tu Ngang was so poor that he had to borrow money from his meal card to top up."
"Where do we get the money to support others?"
The whole hall immediately stirred. The fat woman threw the banner to the ground.
"Trinh Vy!"
"So you're using us as cannon fodder?"
Trinh Vy quickly explained.
"I do not have!"
"I just want good for the Lam family!"
Lam's mother looked straight at her.
"I just want to save face for myself."
Trinh Vy's alliance immediately disintegrated. She stood in the middle of the hall. The patient looked at her. The nurses looked at her. Even the shareholders' family members are looking at her. I walked in front of her.
"Trinh Vy."
"Every time I think that if there are many people, it will be true."
"But as more people witnessed it..."
"...the truth will also resonate more loudly."
Trinh Vy gritted her teeth.
"Tham Thanh Ninh, you won't win for long."
I calmly asked:
"Who else do you have?"
She looked towards the door. A young woman entered. Tight red dress, high heels, holding a file in hand. She smiled at Co Nghien Chu.
"General Manager Co, long time no see."
Co Nghien Chu's face immediately turned cold.
"Who are you?"
The woman looked at me.
"I am Quy Nam Chi, project management department of Minh Hop Capital."
She placed the file firmly on the table.
"On behalf of Minh Hop Capital's internal risk control department, I announce the temporary suspension of investment appraisal in the outpatient clinic."
Trinh Vy finally smiled.
"Tham Thanh Ninh, do you think you're the only one who knows how to find help?"
Quy Nam Chi looked at me.
"Doctor Tham, the ideal for the community sounds very good."
"But investors' money will not be arbitrarily given to a controversial person."
Co Nghien Chu's voice was cold.
"Qui Nam Chi, you have no right to pause."
