Chapter 2
Chapter 2 — Hao Mon Swap
There were whispers in the classroom. "Luc? What relationship does he have with Luc Thua Da?" “I just saw him getting out of the Luc family's car.” “I heard he got it from the orphanage.” Lam Tri Ha sat near the window, slowly raising her hand. "Miss, how is his performance? Our class's progress is very fast, don't let it drag you down." The homeroom teacher was a bit confused, "Ning Duong hasn't taken the entrance exam yet, just listen to the lecture first." Lam Tri Ha smiled and said: "Then she should sit in the back, so she won't affect everyone else." The homeroom teacher looked around the seats, "There are still empty seats in the back, Ninh Duong, you go sit there first." I carried my school bag down to the last row. At the next table is a slightly chubby female student, munching on bread. The girl pulled the books on the table towards her and said in a low voice: "My name is Hua Vien Vien. Don't pay attention to Lam Tri Ha, he just makes everyone look bad." I sat down, “Thank you.” Hua Vien Vien lowered his voice, "Is Luc Thua Da really your brother?" I said: “In name, that is.” “Then you're in trouble.” The girl took a bite of bread, "His personality smells worse than the leftover soup in the cafeteria." The first class in the morning is Math. The teacher writes a math problem on the board. "Yesterday, I taught this lesson in a modified version, who should do it?" No one in the class spoke up. Lam Tri Ha raised his hand, "Teacher, let me try." She wrote about half a page on the board when she got stuck. The teacher reminded her twice, but she still didn't finish writing. Luc Thua Da put his face down on the table and slept. The teacher sighed, "Is there anyone else?" Hua Vien Vien nudged my hand, "Do you know how to do it?" I looked at the board, "I know." Her friend's eyes lit up, "Then raise your hand." I didn't move. Lam Tri Ha turned around and saw us talking, so he immediately spoke, "Teacher, Luc Ninh Duong said he knows how to do it." The whole class immediately fell silent. The Math teacher looked at me, "Luc Ninh Duong, come up here." I walked up to the podium. Lam Tri Ha handed the chalk to me, his voice neither loud nor soft, "Don't force yourself, if you can't do it, no one will laugh at you." I took the chalk, erased the step she made wrong, and then wrote again from the beginning. Three minutes later, the answer was neatly placed in the right corner of the board. Mr. Math stepped closer and looked for a few seconds, nodded, "Not bad. Even shortening the steps compared to the standard solution." Someone in class whispered: "Isn't he from the orphanage?" “Do orphanages also teach this?” The smile on Lam Tri Ha's face faded. Luc Thua Da was awakened by the noise, raised his head and glanced at the board. Teacher Toan said: "Luc Ninh Duong, have you ever attended an Olympic training class before?" I said: "I used to read books." Lam Tri Ha immediately said: "Teacher, she just arrived, maybe she has already done this lesson at home." Teacher Math's face was a bit unhappy, "Lin Tri Ha, I temporarily changed the topic for this lesson." Hua Vien Vien sat at the last table and whispered: "I'm so jealous that my teeth hurt." I returned to my seat. As soon as the school bell rang, Lam Tri Ha walked up to my desk. “Luc Ninh Duong, do you like to be dominant?” I packed up my books, "The teacher called me up." “You can say you don't know.” "I know." The female students next to her burst out laughing. Lam Tri Ha's face couldn't contain his anger, "Don't think that just by doing one math problem you can stand firm in this class." Hua Vien Vien squeezed the bread bag and rustled, "Knowing how to do homework can't stand up, so relying on sarcasm and insults is okay?" Lam Tri Ha looked at her friend, "Hua Vien Vien, does it have anything to do with you?" Hua Vien Vien retracted her neck, then raised her chest again, "I'm just telling the truth." Luc Thua Da walked in from the back door and knocked on the table. “What's the noise?” Lam Tri Ha immediately changed her tone, "Thua Da, your younger sister just arrived and argued with me." Luc Thua Da looked at me, "Are you causing trouble again?" I said: "He asked me if I like to play, I answered him." “Don't you know how to endure?” "Don't know." He tugged on the strap of his bag, "Don't ride in my car after school." I said: “Okay.” Lam Tri Ha smiled complacently, "Thua Da, don't be angry, he probably hasn't adapted yet." Green
Thua Da didn't even look at me, "If you can't adapt, then go back to the orphanage." As soon as this sentence came out, Hua Vien Vien did not dare to say anything more. I bowed my head and flipped through the book. Go back to the orphanage. In my previous life, my sister was most afraid of hearing this sentence. Every time he heard it, he knelt down and begged Lady Luc not to chase him away. I'm not afraid. The bed at the orphanage was hard, the rice and soup were bland, but no one treated me like a dog to be trained. When school ended, the Luc family's car parked in front of the school gate. The driver saw me and quickly got out of the car, "Miss, ma'am told me to come pick you up." Luc Thua Da leaned his back against the car door, "He said he wouldn't sit." The driver was embarrassed, "Young master, ma'am told me." Lam Tri Ha stood next to him, "Ninh Duong, don't embarrass the driver. Thua Da was just talking nonsense." I said: "I take the bus." The driver panicked, "Miss, it's a long way from home." Luc Thua Da burst out laughing, "Have you heard, people have bones."
