Chapter 4
Chapter 4 — Husband Gives Up My VIP Delivery Room To His First Love
Trieu Lam turned off the video camera.
“There are a few more passages.”
“It was a scene they deliberately asked the nurse to stage to film the video.”
“Lin Tu Tu said that the first month party must be held magnificently.”
“So that everyone knows how much the baby is loved and pampered.”
I calmly asked:
“When is the full month party held?”
Trieu Lam replied:
“The day after tomorrow.”
“The location is the hotel booked by the Liu family.”
"Miss Lam also said... she wanted to use the photos taken in the VIP delivery room as a decorative background."
Duong Duyet was so angry that he burst out laughing.
“Take your money…”
“To show off her wealth.”
“Take your delivery room…”
“To show off her child.”
My mother looked at me.
“Nem Niem.”
“What are you going to do?”
I didn't answer right away. In the small crib next to her, her daughter stirred slightly. The baby let out a very soft cry. I slowly stood up. Step by step walk towards your child. Every step stretches the incision, causing pain to the heart. She was still tiny, soft as a ball of cotton. Yet from the first day of his birth, he was hated by his biological father. I gently touched my baby's tiny hand.
“Mom, the full month party... we're going.”
My father asked in a low voice:
“How many people are you planning to bring?”
“Don't bring anyone with you.”
Duong Duyet immediately panicked:
"Are you crazy? There's so many of them in the family, they'll swallow you up without even knowing it."
I looked at Trieu Lam.
“Sister Trieu, are you willing to help me once?”
Trieu Lam put the camera back.
“I only speak the truth.”
“That's enough.”
I picked up my phone, opened the Liu family's relative group, and then opened the large group of Luu Huy's company. He still hasn't kicked me out of the group. He thinks I don't dare. I put the phone down, my voice calm.
“He wants to be the most perfect husband in the world... so let everyone see how good he is.”
One day before the one-month party, Luu Huy returned. To be more precise... Returning to my parents' gate. He carried two boxes of nutritious gifts, stood outside the gate, and was stopped by the security guard. My mother wouldn't let him in. So he stood right outside the gate and called me.
“Nien Niem, I know you're still angry.”
“Tomorrow is Tu Tu's first month party.”
“She wants to invite you to dinner.”
“You just need to appear for a little bit, so that outsiders can see that you are generous.”
I sit by the window. Trieu Lam is changing her baby's diaper. Duong Duyet stood next to him and followed, so clumsy that he almost glued the diaper askew. I turned on the speakerphone.
“Why should I be generous?”
Luu Huy tried to suppress his impatience.
“Everyone knows she is a widow, raising her children alone is very difficult.”
“You are my wife.”
“If you don't go, outsiders will say the Liu family bullied her.”
Duong Duyet cursed softly.
“The Liu family really didn't bully her.”
“They only bully the official wife.”
Luu Huy heard it.
“Duong Duyet is next to you, right?”
“On Niem, don't let her always interfere in our affairs.”
"She's not married yet. She knows nothing about married life."
Duong Duyet grabbed the phone.
“Yes, I don't know.”
"I only know that when my wife gives birth, I can't hug my first love and feed her every spoonful."
The other end of the line was silent for a few seconds. Luu Huy's voice immediately became alert.
“Who did you hear talking nonsense?”
I got my power back phone.
“What time tomorrow?”
Luu Huy's voice immediately calmed down.
“Twelve noon, at Kim Phuc Lau.”
“It's okay if you come.”
“As long as you appear, my mother won't say anything anymore.”
“What about you?”
"I just gave birth, the child is still young, don't bring it along."
“I came alone.”
“Don't let your parents come with you either.”
“They misunderstood you too deeply.”
“Does Lam Tu Tu know you invited me?”
“She really wants you to come.”
“She said she wanted to personally apologize to me.”
Duong Duyet's eyes widened so much that he almost rolled his eyes. I calmly replied: Luu Huy felt like a burden had been lifted.
“Nien Niem, I immediately knew you were someone who understood.”
“Dress a little simpler tomorrow.”
“Don't overwhelm Tu Tu.”
“Anyway... she's the main character.”
I hung up. Duong Duyet held back for exactly three seconds and then started cursing.
"Dress a little simpler so as not to overwhelm the little girl."
"Why don't Liu Hui's mouth be donated to the hospital as a villain teaching tool?"
Trieu Lam bowed his head and patted the baby's back to burp the baby, then suddenly spoke.
“Miss On, I will come tomorrow too.”
“Miss Lam also invited me.”
“She wanted me to carry the baby on stage.”
I looked at her.
“She still dares to invite you?”
Trieu Lam calmly replied:
“She didn't know about the camera.”
“She just thinks I'm an employee, whoever pays me will work for that person.”
Duong Duyet slapped his thigh hard.
“Let them put the knife in their own hands.”
My mother walked in from outside the door, holding a light cream colored dress in her hand.
“Wear this tomorrow.”
"You're still in quarantine, don't let it get cold."
“Just light makeup.”
“Just need my face to look a little better.”
My father walked behind, his face very unsightly.
“Dad will go too.”
