Chapter 9
Chapter 9 — Husband Gives Up My VIP Delivery Room To His First Love
“It's okay if you don't sign.”
“We'll meet in court.”
“Also, I asked a lawyer to check all the money you spent on Lam Tu Tu during the marriage.”
“Price for the delivery room.”
“The female nurse.”
“Bird's nest money.”
“Hotel money.”
“Rent.”
“Every single amount... you must pay it back in full.”
Lam Tu Tu's face immediately turned pale.
“That was all he volunteered for me.”
I looked straight at her.
“He took money from the couple and gave it to her.”
“When she received it, she was happy.”
"When it's time to repay... we have to pay clearly."
She hugged the baby tightly.
“I don't have money.”
Duong Duyet said coldly:
“If you don't have money, go to work.”
“It's okay to live in someone else's delivery room.”
"When it's time to pay, can't you pay?"
Luu Huy suddenly leaned close to me and lowered his voice.
“Don't force Tu Tu.”
“The child... is most likely really your child.”
I looked at him.
“That's even better.”
“DNA assessment.”
Vuong Que Lan immediately objected.
“Inspection of what?”
“The baby is so young, what if it affects him?”
Duong Duyet narrowed his eyes.
“What are you afraid of?”
"If they are indeed descendants of the Liu family, wouldn't it be better to bang gongs and drums to confirm their identity?"
Lam Tu Tu cried and shook his head.
“I don't do it.”
“You guys are insulting me.”
I hugged my daughter, my voice still calm as before.
“When you were in my delivery room…”
“Do you ever feel like you're insulting me?”
“It's your turn to prove your innocence... but you can't stand it?”
Luu Huy stands in the middle. On one side, Lam Tu Tu was crying so much that he couldn't stand. On one side, Vuong Que Lan is preparing to sit down on the ground to continue the attack. Finally... A tired look appeared on his face.
“Can we talk in private?”
"Cannot."
He asked:
“Because... what I'm most afraid of is publicity.”
I hugged my daughter and turned to leave. Just got to the door. Behind him came the staff's voice.
"Sir, if you do not agree to divorce as agreed, please do not occupy the check-in counter."
Duong Duyet leaned close to my ear. I lowered my head to look at the daughter in my arms.
“It's still very early.”
The news that Luu Huy was suspended from work spread faster than I thought. On the third day, I went back to the company for a trip. I still haven't stayed home for a full month. My mother did not agree. I left my child in the care of my mother and Trieu Lam, wearing a long, loose dress and a long coat. Duong Duyet drove me under the building.
“Are you really going to go up there?”
“The people at that foreign company have very harsh tongues.”
“In the past, Luu Huy went everywhere to complain about suffering.”
“Says you're too strong.”
“Says he doesn't have any status at home.”
I put my scarf back on. The elevator goes up to the twenty-sixth floor. The door just opened. The girl at the front desk was startled when she saw me, the glass of water in her hand almost fell straight onto the keyboard.
“General Manager Wen, I'm here.”
I nodded slightly. The entire office area was unusually quiet. Luu Huy's colleagues who used to call me "sister-in-law" every time they met me, now all bowed their heads and pretended to be busy. I walked to the door of the meeting room. There's an emergency meeting inside. Luu Huy sat at the end of the table, his face haggard. His superior, Chu Khai, sat in the chair, and next to him was the head of the human resources department. I pushed the door and walked in. Everyone turned to look. Chu Khai immediately stood up.
"Total Director Wen, your health hasn't recovered yet, why did you come to the company?"
Luu Huy also stood up. But the first thing he said was:
“What are you doing here?”
"Don't interfere in my work matters."
I looked at him.
“I came to hand over work.”
Luu Huy was stunned. Chu Khai coughed softly.
“The customer records in charge of General Manager Wen before maternity leave need to be reconfirmed.”
“As for Luu Huy's matter... the company also wants to hear your opinion.”
Luu Huy immediately spoke up:
“Mr. Chu, this is my personal matter.”
Zhou Kai looked straight at him.
"You did something so personal that it caused a ruckus to the whole company group, and it was also related to the false declaration of leave."
“You still call it a private matter?”
The head of the human resources department opens the file.
“My reason for leaving is to take care of my wife giving birth.”
“But in reality... you went to take care of another pregnant woman.”
“The company has approved special leave for you.”
“At the same time, arrange for colleagues to work overtime for you.”
“You need to explain.”
Luu Huy's face turned red.
“My wife really did give birth.”
I calmly continued:
“But the person next to me... is not you.”
In the meeting room, someone bowed their heads. Someone turned to look out the window. No one spoke up to defend him. Luu Huy gritted his teeth.
“Do you really have to destroy me right at the company?”
“I don't add salt and fish sauce.”
“What are you doing… I mean it.”
Chu Khai looked at me, his voice was gentler than usual.
“General Manager Wen.”
“The company will handle it according to regulations.”
“You don't need to worry.”
