It looked at me for a long time.

“Dad said after opening the store, mom will be very busy.”

“It will indeed be busy.”

“So mom still has time to come?”

“If it's really busy, I'll let you know in advance.”

“Don't make me wait forever.”

It doesn't say anything more. The next two days, it still didn't follow me. On the fourth day, when I arrived at school, he was waiting for me at the gate. No suitcase in hand. Only wear schoolbags.

“Can I come to dinner?”

"After eating, I still have to go back to dad's place."

It followed me back to the apartment. After eating, he sat in front of the small table doing homework. I was in the kitchen preparing orders for the next day. At nine o'clock, he proactively packed his school bag.

“Dad came to pick you up.”

I took it downstairs. Before getting in the car, he suddenly asked:

“Is your bed still available tomorrow?”

“What about the day after tomorrow?”

“It's still there.”

“What if I don't come for a month?”

“Then I will wait for you for a month.”

It nodded. This time, after getting in the car, it did not immediately close the door.

“I still want to come for dinner tomorrow.”

Thanks to Duong Chi's introduction and the sharing of regular customers, the first batch of orders in my residential area gradually stabilized. On weekdays there are about two or thirty boxes, on weekends there will be a little more. I rented a small storefront. The front is less than forty square meters. In the back there are two small rooms. One room is used to process ingredients. In the remaining room, I placed a study desk and a single bed. On the day I signed the rental contract, the lawyer also informed me that the divorce petition had officially been accepted by the court. After receiving the documents, Ha Dinh Chau no longer brought the equipment to me. He started taking Ha Du An to school himself. Spend the weekend with my children. It looked like he suddenly remembered he still had a son. The day Lam Man comes to Nam Thanh to participate in the training course is getting closer. She kept asking about pick-up and drop-off in the parent group. One time, she asked me directly:

“Tinh Dao, is it convenient for you to pick up all three children next Wednesday?”

I replied:

“Inconvenient.”

Right after that, she called me.

"Dinh Chau had to go on a business trip that day."

“Auntie Dao isn't there either.”

“School ends at four, but my online introduction session ends at six.”

“You can take a leave of absence.”

Her voice stopped.

“It is a mandatory lesson before participating in the training.”

“My work also has its time.”

“Didn't you open your own store?”

“Time will probably be quite flexible.”

“Because it's my store, there's no one to do it for me.”

She was silent for a moment.

“Tinh Dao, I know you have prejudice against me.”

“But lately the two kids keep saying they really like the cakes you make.”

“Are you really willing to leave them without anyone to pick them up?”

“It's not like they didn't have anyone to pick them up.”

“They have a mother.”

“There is also an uncle Ha who promised to take care of them.”

I hung up. That evening, the twins followed Ha Du An to the store. Ha Dinh Chau suddenly had something to do and without warning told the driver to bring all three children. The driver hadn't left yet, I was about to ask him to take the twins to Lam Man's place. Then my sister pulled the hem of my shirt.

“Auntie Kieu, can we wait until Mom finishes school?”

The little girl said in a low voice:

“Mom said she would pick us up later.”

I lowered my head to look at her.

“When will it be later?”

“After mom went to a far away place.”

“Mom said she will have very little in the future when you return.”

The older sister quickly responded.

“But it's okay.”

“Mom said as long as we are good, Aunt Kieu will like us.”

“We can stay with you later.”

Ha Du An stood next to him, his face very unsightly.

“You guys are in my room, are you still going to stay forever?”

The twin sister was startled.

“Mom said that room was never lived in.”

“You can stay in the small room.”

“Boys are not afraid of small rooms.”

Ha Du An's eyes immediately turned red. The baby didn't cry. Just take your bag and go into the small room at the back. I followed in. He sat on the edge of the bed, bowing his head.

“Dad said they only stayed for half a year.”

“Maybe not just half a year.”

“So can I still have my room back?”

“I don't know.”

“But here there will always be a room for you.”

It raised its head.

“But it's too small here.”

“It's really small.”
