She likes white, likes clean, elegant things. But Tieu Duc's so-called "likes to see me wearing jade white" is just because every time he sees that color, he will remember someone else. Just like in his previous life, he liked the scent of cassia flowers in my room, saying that it was very calming. However, in Co Van Thu's palace, cinnamon incense is burned all year round. Not that he likes it. But she likes it. He just loves who loves all the way.

“Sister, let's change to another set of clothes.”

Thanh Uyen gently pulled my sleeve. I'm about to nod. The surrounding crowd suddenly quieted down. A tall, slender figure walked out from the end of the hallway. He wore dark black civilian clothes, with a leather belt with a silver thread pattern tied around his waist. His appearance is handsome but cold and serious, the kind of decency that makes others unconsciously hold their breath. His eyes scanned the crowd. My heart beats fast. Then two beats. Then another beat was missed. Because when his eyes passed me, he didn't stop at all. Even if it's just a little bit, it's not there. He walked straight towards Co Van Thu.

“In the early spring, the wind is so strong, why are you dressed like this?”

Co Van Thu bowed her head slightly, her voice was gentle and soft.

“Thank you for your concern, Your Highness, I am not cold.”

Tieu Duc took a crane from the guard next to him, without giving her a chance to refuse, he placed it directly on her shoulder. That crane is as white as snow, the edge is embroidered with orchid patterns with silver thread. It skillfully blended with the jade white color on her body to become one, as if it was tailor-made for her. Or maybe it was originally tailor-made for her. I stood ten steps away, looking at the scene before me, suddenly feeling that all the sounds around me seemed to be very far away. Thanh Uyen aggressively pulled me.

“Sister, let's go.”

I followed Thanh Uyen to the heavenly palace to change clothes. The palace maid brought a set of narrow-sleeved, royal-colored gowns, which I quietly put on, then sat in front of the bronze mirror for a long time. Thanh Uyen stood outside the door to watch for me, not allowing others to come in and disturb me.

“Sister, if you don't want to come back, let's leave here immediately.”

“Don't go.”

I stood up and adjusted my collar. Tong Thanh Hoa in his previous life could cry and run away. But in this life it is impossible. I still have to regain my spirits and at least see clearly what Tieu Duc is planning. After changing clothes and returning, the banquet had begun. Away from a cluster of dahlias, I saw Tieu Duc sitting in the chair, next to him was Co Van Thu. The two of them bowed their heads to say something, occasionally Co Van Thu would cover her mouth with her hand and laugh softly. Tieu Duc's expression was gentle and attentive. Exactly like the way he looked at me in his previous life. Even gentler than when looking at me. I averted my eyes and walked towards a less crowded direction. Going next to a lotus pond, there was absolutely no one around. I squatted down, picked up a large stone from the ground, and threw it hard into the lake. The water splashed, causing the red fish to panic and swim away. I picked up another bigger one. Keep throwing down.

“This lady.”

Suddenly, a man's voice rang out from behind low but rough.

“The stone you threw just now… fell on this one's bait.”

I turned my head to look back. Under a willow tree on the opposite side of the lake, sat an extremely tall man. His face was the color of antique bronze, his shoulders were broad and his back straight, and he held a fishing rod in his hand. Is there anyone in the banquet palace who comes here to fish?

“Who are you?”

He raised his hand to wipe a few drops of water from his face, but was not angry.

“This is Han Chinh, from the vanguard of the Northwest Army camp.”

A martial artist. In my previous life, my impression of martial generals was not very deep, and people in the palace never mentioned them much before.

“You fish in the palace?”

“Idle time is just idle time.”

He shook the empty fishhook in his hand.

"I was about to catch a big one, but was scared away by the lady's stone."

I wasn't in the mood to apologize, I just snorted softly and turned around to leave. After walking a few steps, his voice was heard from behind.

“Miss, there is mud on your dress.”

I lowered my head to look down, and sure enough, the corner of my sky-colored skirt had been smeared with a patch of black mud.
