“Oh my god, you look so good.”

“It will definitely be fun for third aunt to see.”

Having finished speaking, she turned and called:

“Co Vien, quickly put out the bowls and chopsticks.”

At half past eleven, the doorbell rang. The third aunt came first, bringing along her husband, son, and her son's girlfriend. Behind is the second aunt and Tran Tieu Man. Plus the five members of the Co family, a total of eleven people. The living room immediately became crowded. As soon as she walked in, she could smell the delicious aroma of food.

“Que Lan, it smells so good!”

Tien Que Lan laughed so much that she couldn't close her mouth.

“It was all done by my Sister Ha.”

“The craftsmanship isn't bad, right?”

The second aunt looked towards the dining table and clicked her tongue.

“Oh my, did you make the whole table?”

“What a great display.”

Tran Tieu Man immediately took out her phone to take a photo.

“This table must be posted to a friend circle.”

Everyone walked towards the dining table. Eighteen steaming hot dishes were displayed on the table. Everyone's face shows hunger when they see delicious food. Her son smiled and said:

“Auntie, are these all really done by my sister-in-law?”

“It's true that women who know how to cook look different.”

Tien Que Lan smiled and waved his hand.

“Come on, come on, sit down quickly.”

“Eat while it's still hot.”

People started pulling out chairs. The third lady sat next to the table owner. The second aunt sat on the opposite side. Co Vien helped everyone pull out chairs. Co Dinh sat down early, even holding chopsticks in his hand. Father-in-law sat quietly at the corner of the table. Tran Tieu Man was still busy taking photos. Very quickly, everyone sat in their seats. Chopsticks were also picked up.

"Wait."

Tien Que Lan's voice rang out. She turned her head to look toward the kitchen.

“Where is Sister Ha?”

"Has he brought out all the dishes yet? Is there still soup in the kitchen?"

Co Vien stood up and walked towards the kitchen. But just after taking two steps, he stopped. The kitchen's sliding glass door is closed. Furthermore... it's locked. He gave it a try. Cannot open. He pulled again. The door still didn't budge.

"Sister Ha? Are you in there?"

There's no one in the kitchen. The lights are off. Inside is empty. The pots and dishes are all kept clean and tidy. He turned around. The expression on his face is very difficult to describe.

“Mom… the kitchen door is locked.”

Qian Guilan frowned.

“What do you mean it's locked?”

She stood up, walked to the kitchen door, and pulled hard. Cannot open. She pulled again. No one answered.

"Sister Ha! Open the door!"

Still no response. At that moment, outside the mysterious entrance, the sound of suitcase wheels rolling on the floor was heard. Everyone turned their heads to look at the same time. I'm standing at the door. The gray suitcase lies at my feet. I already changed my clothes to go out. Jacket, jeans, sneakers. Wallet and phone are both in the pocket. I brought all my IDs and bank cards with me. Tien Que Lan was stunned on the spot.

“What… what are you going to do?”

I looked at her. Look at the woman who left me standing in the kitchen for two days straight.

"Mom's rules, I remember them very clearly."

“The new daughter-in-law is not allowed at the dinner table.”

I reached into my pocket and took out the key to the kitchen glass door. Then place it on the shoe cabinet in the mysterious entrance.

“Then these eighteen dishes…”

"I'd like you to help me carry it myself."

The entire table of food was still steaming hot. Through the locked glass door, each dish can be seen clearly. Shrimp red color, golden yellow color of salted egg pumpkin, the soft white of steamed fish. You can see it... but no one can touch it. Tien Que Lan's face immediately turned pale.

“What do you mean?”

“I want a divorce.”

As soon as the three words were uttered, the entire living room immediately fell silent. The second aunt's chopsticks stopped in mid-air. The third girl opened her mouth but did not close it. Co Dinh turned his head to look at me, his expression as if he couldn't believe what he just heard. Tran Tieu Man still held the phone in her hand, forgetting to take a photo. The father-in-law, who was holding a cup of tea, also stopped. As for Co Vien's face, little by little the blood was drained away.

“Sister Ha… are you crazy?”

Tien Que Lan walked strongly towards me.

“Open the door for me right now!”

"The guests are still here! How much more do you want to embarrass yourself?"

I pulled up the suitcase handle. At that moment, the doorbell rang. All eyes in the room simultaneously looked toward the door. I walked over to open the door.
