“Really good.”

I couldn't help but admire it.

“Once you get used to it, you'll know.”

Mrs. Vuong smiled gently.

“I used to take care of three children.”

I'm surprised.

“My biological child is one.”

“And help others take care of the two of you.”

She said smiling.

“I'm retired now.”

“There's nothing to do at home.”

My heart suddenly moved.

“Mrs. Wang.”

“Can you help me look after the baby?”

“I will pay the salary.”

“Salary is all.”

Mrs. Vuong waved her hand.

“I'm free.”

“Help me look after you.”

“Consider having company.”

“How can that be?”

I said quickly.

“She helped me with such a big thing.”

“How can you not pay?”

“There's really no need.”

Mrs. Vuong was determined.

“I'm sad living alone.”

“There's a kid around.”

“I feel even happier.”

With help from Mrs. Vuong. I started looking for work again. I lowered my request. No more choosing too much. Just a decent job. I'm all willing to try. A small company agreed to hire me. Salary is not high. But at least. I already have a source of income.

“Congratulations, Miss Lam.”

The boss is a man in his forties. Looks very gentle.

“You can come to work tomorrow.”

"Thank you."

“Thank you for giving me this opportunity.”

I'm truly grateful.

“No need to be polite.”

The boss smiled and said.

“I have also come up from difficult days.”

“You should understand that life is not easy.”

Return home. I held my child in my arms. Extremely excited mood.

“Mom found a job.”

I gently kissed my baby's little face.

“Our lives will get better and better.”

It seemed like the baby understood what I said. I laughed loudly. Clear laughter rang out in the small room. Look at that innocent smile. My heart is full of hope. The road ahead is still very difficult. But at least. My mother and I have had a new start. I believe. Just keep trying. Everything will get better. First month of work. My life is very busy. But also extremely tiring. At seven o'clock in the morning I woke up. Breastfeeding. Then give the child to Mrs. Vuong. Then hurriedly ran to the company. After work at six o'clock in the afternoon. I rushed home to pick up my child.

“You've become thinner lately.”

Mrs. Vuong said sadly.

“Alone, I take care of my children and go to work.”

“It's so hard.”

"It's OK."

“I can handle it.”

I took the baby from her arms.

“Mrs. Wang.”

“Is Tieu Bao a good boy today?”

“Very good.”

Mrs. Vuong smiled and said.

“Just miss my mom a little.”

“I cried for a while in the afternoon.”

“I carried the boy out the window to watch the scenery.”

“After that, I stopped crying.”

I feel a little guilty in my heart. You are so young. Had to be away from my mother all day. It is indeed very disadvantageous for children.

“Mrs. Wang.”

“Thank you very much indeed.”

I say sincerely.

“If it weren't for you.”

“I can't go to work.”

“Don't be polite.”

“I really like him too.”

Mrs. Vuong said while teasing Tieu Bao.

“You look.”

“The boy is very smart.”

“I already know how to accept people.”

Indeed. Little Bao is now more than two months old. Learned to laugh. Every time you see me. I'm all extremely excited. I bathe my child. Breastfeeding. Put your baby to sleep. Done everything. It's almost ten o'clock at night. I sat by the bed. Look at the baby sleeping soundly. My heart is filled with all kinds of emotions. Right at that moment. The phone rang. To be Tieu Nha called.

“How have you been?”

Tieu Nha asked with concern.

“I found a job.”

"Really?"

Tieu Nha was extremely happy.

“What kind of work do you do?”

“Accounting for a small company.”

“Salary is not high.”

“But at least it's enough to support both mother and child.”

“So that's good.”

Tieu Nha breathed a sigh of relief.

"Right."

"Is there any movement on Tran Chi Vien's side?"

I shook my head.

“Since I moved away.”

“We don't keep in touch anymore.”

“And To Uyen?”

"Don't know."

“I don't want to know either.”

I said calmly.

“Their business no longer concerns me.”

“It's good to think like that.”

Tieu Nha smiled and said.

“Ah yes.”

“Are you free this weekend?”

“I want to visit you and Tieu Bao.”

“Of course I do.”

“I welcome it.”

Come the weekend. Tieu Nha brought a bunch of children's items to visit us.

“Tieu Bao is so cute!”

Tieu Nha holds the baby. Love it so much that I can't bear to let it go.

“Like you.”

“Not at all like that guy.”

“Don't say those things in front of your child.”

I spoke up to stop. Tieu Nha stuck out her tongue.

“I just can't stand Tran Chi Vien.”

"Don't mention the old story again."

I smiled faintly.

“Currently, my mother and I are living very well.”
