Chapter 9
Chapter 9 — Mom's Perfect Cousin
“I remember.” After he left. Little brother returns. It sneaked into my room. Give me a thumbs up. “Sister, it's amazing!” Then, it took out a box from its back. “This is for you.” I opened it to see. It's a model of noise-cancelling headphones that I've always wanted. Price is not cheap. “Where will you get the money?” He scratched his head, a bit embarrassed. “Every pocket money you give me, I save it all.” “There's also lucky money.” “Sister, I didn't understand things before.” “Let me protect you from now on.” I laughed. Pat it gently on the head. "Okay." That evening. Dinner is cooked by dad. Very poor workmanship. The stir-fried vegetables were too salty and the rice was also cooked hard. Mom ate while complaining in a low voice. “It's not as good as what I cook.” The younger brother immediately objected. “Then let's cook tomorrow.” Mother choked and said nothing more. I looked at them. Suddenly felt. This meal is difficult to eat. But it seems to be much more delicious than the meals I've cooked before.
