Chapter 6
Chapter 6 — My Lover and Best Friend Betrayed Me Together
Seeing that it was her, Tan Tu Viet frowned:
"I'm fine. There's something to talk about."
Nguyen Duong's face turned pale, his eye sockets immediately turned red.
“Are you still blaming me for that?”
Tan Tu Viet raised his head:
“Shouldn't I blame you?”
The woman stood at the door, looking like she was about to fall:
"Yes! The video slandering Manh Gia was made by me, and the first person to accuse me was also me."
"I don't want to, but I have no choice. This year the company's partner position hasn't come to me yet. A Viet, I don't know how long I have to wait to get a house, a house that belongs to me, not a rented house, not a cold atmosphere. The conditions the other side offers are too generous..."
Nguyen Duong shed tears and choked up as he spoke, trying to use that look to shake the man in front of him.
"Last time you also used this set of lines to persuade me to help you slander Manh Gia."
"But I really agreed. Now she broke up with me, I don't know where to go, are you satisfied?"
"What I can do to help you, I have already done so. Now can I ask you to leave here?"
Tan Tu Viet did not raise his head and directly ordered the guests to be expelled. His rare coldness caused Nguyen Duong to completely collapse. She took a few steps in front of Tan Tu Viet, her voice carrying scrutiny. “A Viet, if Gia Gia has decided to leave, then how about we…” Her words behind her were interrupted by a heavy noise. Tan Tu Viet put down the documents, his face cold to the bone.
“Nguyen Duong, do you know what you are saying?”
"I'm Manh Gia's boyfriend, you're her best friend. What are you doing now? Digging into her corner?"
"She just got a bad reputation because of you and left the company. You treat her like that?"
The man's questioning was like a whip hitting Nguyen Duong's face. Just for a moment. Her face was red and her eyes were a bit avoidant.
“I…”
Tan Tu Viet interrupted her words again:
"You shouldn't have said those words. You said that, not only insulting you, but also insulting me!"
“Duong Duong, I have always considered you my confidant, my colleague, my sister, but I have never considered you my woman.”
“I thought you always understood.”
Nguyen Duong looked into his eyes, his whole face was pale every inch. The next second, she suddenly smiled foolishly:
"Soulmate? Sister? Someone in the same profession? Tan Tu Viet, who are you fooling?"
"It's clear that you have feelings for me, but you don't dare admit it!"
“I don't have it!”
“I do!”
Nguyen Duong raised his voice, interrupting him.
“If you don't have one, why are you willing to spend an hour taking me to work?”
“If not, why do you give in to me over and over again every time we go out, and say I wear a dress better than Gia Gia?”
“If these things are not like, then what are they?”
"If not, why are you in the same room as me? Did you even help me this time?"
Nguyen Duong did not ask any more questions. The man's face turned pale again. He always thought that those things were just care between friends. But I never thought that they had long exceeded the limit. That's why Manh Gia decided to leave him like that. Thinking of this, Tan Tu Viet looked at Nguyen Duong and said word by word:
“Whether you believe it or not, I don't mean anything different Miss."
“I don't talk much about other things. You take care of yourself.”
Throwing that sentence back, he picked up his coat and document bag on the rack, and went straight to the door. Far away, you can still hear him telling his assistant:
“Help me book a plane ticket to Jiangcheng, as quickly as possible.”
I met Tan Tu Viet while squatting at the beginning of the alley to have fun. At that time I was wearing pajamas and slippers. He wore a suit and looked tired and weathered. Tan Tu Viet stood there, his lips pursed into a straight line, his head bowed, his eyes staring at me.
“Aren't you going to invite me to breakfast?”
