Chapter 3
Chapter 3 — One Good Day I Married Someone Else
"General Manager Dung's aesthetics are much better than mine. The pearl earrings he gave me last month really suit me."
After speaking, she looked straight at me and laughed. It's like I'm really just simply sharing a small story. I was stunned on the spot, momentarily a bit bewildered. Unexpectedly, the dog blood plot that only appears in third-rate TV dramas actually happened to me. Before I could recover from her provocation, Long Tinh got angry and slapped her directly.
"Bad men cheat, I always thought it was the man's fault."
"But the little tam took the initiative to dance in front of the main family, so that's truly shameless!"
Previously, Long Tinh had learned to practice hand-to-hand, and his hand strength was very strong. Trieu Tinh was hit on the head, his cheeks were immediately red and swollen. But she didn't have any special reaction. Just slowly took a tissue from his pocket and wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth. When she raised her head, her face still carried the stubborn and smug look typical of young people.
"Mrs. Sam Sam, General Director Dung asked me to pass on your message. He has booked a plane ticket to Australia tomorrow, expected to stay there for about three months."
She stopped, a cruel flicker of pity in her eyes.
"So you should still not prepare for the wedding so early. Anyway, the greater the hope, the greater the disappointment."
“Miss…”
Long Tinh was so angry that he trembled and raised his hand to attack again.
“Long Tinh.”
I raised my hand to stop her. I took a deep breath, swallowed the last bit of bitterness in my heart, then smiled and looked at Trieu Tinh.
“Thank you for your message.”
“Also, let me tell you something. As of today, you are fired.”
The smile on Trieu Tinh's face immediately stiffened. Long Tinh reacted, immediately took the phone and called the human resources department, loudly announcing his decision to fire her. After the call ended, Trieu Tinh smirked, his eyes full of mockery.
"Sister Sam Sam, is it possible that General Manager Dung hasn't expressed himself clearly enough? He doesn't want to marry you at all."
“What's the use of venting your anger on me?”
She turned around and pushed open the jewelry store door. The last sentence just came out:
“It just makes you look even more pitiful.”
Some employees in the store looked at us with unusual eyes. Long Tinh was so angry that his eyes turned red. I turned around and calmly held her cold hand.
“I haven't cried yet, why are you crying?”
I held up the plain ring in my hand, shook it gently under the light, and smiled brightly:
“Quickly, help me see if this ring is beautiful?”
It's late at night. I sat on the sofa, flipping through the wedding dress catalog in my hand. The sound of the lock turning rang out, Dung Tham pushed the door open and entered. He frowned tightly, and before he even finished changing his shoes, he spoke up to question me first.
"Lam Sam, did you two beat Tieu Trieu at the jewelry store today?"
I closed the wedding dress catalog and looked up at him:
“Yes, at that time it was indeed a bit impulsive.”
“Then you fired her?”
He looked at me in disbelief, like he was looking at an unreasonable madman. I frowned slightly.
“That's because…”
"You two are bullying people too much! No matter what, you can't raise your hand to hit someone, right? Besides, the other person is still a young girl!"
I quietly looked at him.
“So…”
I spoke softly:
"You came here to ask me about my crime, you don't really need to hear my explanation, right?"
He immediately choked up. After that, the anger in his eyes became more intense, looking at me with disappointment:
"Do you still have a reason to beat someone? I know what you want to explain, but today she came to the jewelry store to find you because I told her to go!"
He took a deep breath.
“Tomorrow I have to go to Australia, what's the use of looking at the wedding dress and ring now?”
