Chapter 4
Chapter 4 — One month before the wedding, the fiance registered to marry Bach Nguyet Quang
Duong Duong walked over, trying to hold my hand.
"Tri Y, I know you will eventually think clearly."
I avoided her hand.
"The marriage certificate is also available."
"The wedding photos were also taken."
"If you're missing a honeymoon, it's really not the same as getting married."
Chu Tu Bach frowned.
"I told you, it's not a honeymoon."
I lowered my head to look at the clock. Nine thirty. The driver's message appeared at the right time.
"Miss Tham, I've arrived downstairs."
I got up and went into the bedroom. When I walked out, I had an extra suitcase in my hand. The laughter in the living room immediately stopped. Chu Tu Bach suddenly stood up.
"Why are you carrying a suitcase?"
I took off the ring on my ring finger and placed it on the dining table. A crisp echo. All eyes were focused on that ring.
"I have stopped paying the hotel's remaining money."
"The wedding contract has also been cancelled."
"My belongings have also been moved."
"Chu Tu Bach."
"We broke up."
His face immediately darkened.
"What are you causing trouble again?"
"All the guests have been informed. If the wedding is cancelled, how will your parents react?"
Up until now... What he cares about is just the wedding and appearance. I pulled the suitcase. Chu Nghien immediately blocked the door.
"Tri Y, Van Tinh will leave in three days."
"If there's something wrong, wait until they get home and then talk."
"Get out of the way."
"Where can I go now?"
I glanced at my phone. Ten odd five o'clock. There's still plenty of time to get to the airport.
"You guys go on your honeymoon tomorrow."
"And tonight..."
"I'm flying to Paris."
The living room fell silent for a few seconds. The look of impatience on Chu Tu Bach's face finally disappeared. His eyes stopped on the suitcase next to me.
"What are you doing in Paris?"
"Work."
Chu Tu Bach's face immediately darkened.
"Tham Tri Y, just to be angry with me, are you planning on running abroad alone for a year?"
I looked at him. Until now... He still thinks my life revolves around being angry at myself.
"I have already signed the contract."
"Flight at eleven forty tonight."
Chu Tu Bach strode forward, one hand holding the handle of my suitcase tightly.
"Cancel the contract."
"I'm emotionally unstable right now, I can't make a decision like that."
"Wait until I get back from traveling with Van Tinh and then we'll talk more."
His voice was filled with certainty. As if if he didn't allow it... I wouldn't be able to go.
"Let go."
"Exam Tri Y."
His voice was low.
"You've been causing trouble for two days."
"The wedding dress was canceled, the hotel was also canceled, and now I want to run to Paris."
"In the end, how do you want me to comfort you?"
"I never told you to comfort me."
"I just..."
"I don't need you anymore."
Chu Tu Bach's hand holding the suitcase visibly stopped. At that moment, Trinh Van Tinh suddenly stood up.
"Tu Bach... let's cancel the trip."
Her eyes were red and her voice was very soft.
"Tri Y cares so much... it's all because of me."
"I already have a marriage certificate and also have wedding photos."
"It's okay not to travel anymore."
The mouth says cancel. But her hand unconsciously touched the ring on her ring finger. Chu Tu Bach immediately turned his head to look at her.
"It's not your fault."
"The schedule has been arranged a long time ago, there's no need to change it because of her impulsive moment."
Having said that, he looked at me again.
"If you walk out this door today..."
"Then don't expect me to come to Paris to pick you up."
I suddenly felt funny. During the past seven years... Every time we argued, the person who bowed first was me. When he had a stomach ache... I drove in the middle of the night to bring the medicine. When his father passed away... I put aside all my work to be with him and take care of the funeral. When his startup career fell into the most difficult period... I took out all the money my mother left me, and tried to help him overcome the two most miserable years. He automatically assumed I would never leave. He became the legal husband of another woman. In his eyes, it's all just waiting for me to calm down. I took the suitcase out of his hand.
"I won't wait for you to pick me up."
