Chapter 1 — Snow Covered Jade Boi

The phoenix-shaped jade pendant on his waist suddenly glowed, emitting a voice from ten years ago. At that time, Pho Trinh was still an enthusiastic teenager:

"Ha Ha, ten years later, have I made you a marquis to protect all the storms of the world?"

I knelt in the cold snow, raised my head to look at Pho Trinh, who was now a great general. He was putting a fur coat on the woman next to him and turned his head to look at me like I was looking at something dirty:

“Kneel for three hours until you admit your mistake.”

"If you can't tolerate Nhi Nhi, then this is a lesson for you."

I gritted my teeth to endure the bone-piercing pain in my knee, and smiled mournfully towards the jade pendant:

"That's right, now he has absolute power, no one dares to insult him."

The teenager's voice was filled with pampering:

"Of course! I risk my life to seek fame, just so that you don't have to suffer half of the resentment!"

Just finished speaking. Pho Trinh immediately kicked me in the chest and coldly shouted: "Pretend to be dead for who?" I spit out a mouthful of blood and softly said to the jubilant teenager on the other side of the jade pendant:

“Pho Trinh, you really blocked all the storms outside.”

“Because now, all my sufferings… are given to you.”

That one kick from Pho Trinh was not merciful, hitting right in the heart of the mouth. My throat overflowed with a sweet, fishy taste that I couldn't suppress. A mouthful of blood sprayed onto the white snow, so red it was blinding. Pho Trinh looked at me, without a trace of pity in his eyes, only strong hatred. He laughed coldly: "Give it to you?"

"In the past, because you didn't want to give birth to my child, you drank euthanasia thang. Why didn't you talk about suffering at that time?"

“Everything you have to endure today is nothing more than your cruel retribution.”

The jade pendant shaped like a phoenix on my side suddenly became hot. The teenager's voice boomed in his ears, filled with incredible surprise:

"Nonsense! Ha Ha likes children, how could she drink that poison?"

"Who is this bastard? What nonsense is he talking about!"

I heard the teenager scream in worry, only slightly curling his lips in a bitter smile. I no longer have the strength to respond. Pho Trinh saw my silence, thought he was guilty, and became even more frustrated. He waved his hand and called out to the two old ladies: "Draw back to the backyard, don't let her dirty Nhuy Nhi's eyes." The two women moved roughly, the left and the right grabbed me and dragged me to an abandoned courtyard. This place is windy all around, the window paper has been torn for a long time. The cold wind howled in, blowing the tattered bed curtains. I curled up on the hard bed, my whole body felt hot, and my mind began to blur. The fever struck violently. Page Phong Luong Minh Nguyet The teenager in the jade pendant was so frantic that he couldn't calm down, his voice was filled with choking sounds:

"Ha Ha, what's wrong with you? Speak up quickly!"

"It hurts a lot, doesn't it? What did that animal do to you?"

"Ha Ha, don't sleep... I beg you not to sleep..."

I vaguely heard the call, only seeing irony. The young man who regarded me as his life ten years ago, is now using another method, in this time and space, to love me anxiously. As for him ten years later, he was in another hospital, hugging another woman for warmth. The door "squeaked" and was pushed open. The housekeeper walked in, holding a piece of paper in his hand. As he walked, he used a handkerchief to cover his nose and mouth, looking disgusted:

"The general has an order to abolish the government and become a concubine. From now on, the main courtyard will be handed over to Miss Nhuy Nhi to manage."

He threw the paper on her, the paper was as light as a feather, but weighed like a thousand pounds pressing down on her chest. The butler sourly added another sentence:

“The general also said that if he did not respect old feelings and old meanings, just this sin of being jealous of good and immortal, would have been retired long ago.”

The jade pendant in the shape of a phoenix shines so brightly that it's blinding. Young man Pho Trinh was angry to the extreme, his shaking voice made my head pound and hurt:

"Nonsense! I swore that I would only want Ha Ha alone for the rest of my life. Where can I get good jealousy?"

“If there are no descendants, then I am Fu Trinh, so what does it have to do with Ha Ha!”

“I want to kill him! I want to kill that bitch with a mouth full of feces!”

I tried my best to push myself up and pick up the document. On that handwriting, flying like a dragon and a phoenix dancing, is Pho Trinh's handwriting. Every stroke, every ink, is imbued with absolute love. I looked at that familiar line of words, my eyes were dry, not even a single tear could fall. The butler saw me stunned and impatiently urged:

“Hurry up and sign, don't let the general wait too long, Miss Nhuy Nhi is still waiting to move into the main yard.”

I bit the tip of my finger hard. A drop of bright red blood flowed out, pressing heavily on the document. The bloody red handprints were dazzling, like the end of ten years of wild days. The young man, Pho Trinh, saw everything through his senses. His voice immediately trembled, carrying endless panic:

"Ha Ha, don't sign... I beg you not to sign."

“Have I become evil? Have I done a lot of wrong things to you?”

"Ha Ha, please tell me, I will definitely fix it later."

"I'm not a general anymore, let's go back to the countryside and plow the fields, okay?"
