Chapter 5
Chapter 5 — Staying at Thanh Ba Host
She said it was the heart she and my father had saved for many years. I always remember this kindness. But I never heard her say that there was money from my aunt's family in it. Phuong Dung seemed to have finally grasped my weakness. She raised her chin and her voice became very high-pitched. "Now that you're in a big house, under central air conditioning, have you forgotten who helped you in the past?" "When your mother spent money, she didn't criticize you for many things." "You've only been here for half a month, have you already started to act like a boss?" My mother on the other end of the line was frantic, her voice was lost. "Dung Dung, I told you not to talk anymore." I looked at the phone. voice. “Mom.” “Is she telling the truth?” The other end of the line fell silent. This silence is more obvious than an admission. My chest felt like it was stuffed with wet cotton. A victorious smile appeared on Phuong Dung's face. "Did you hear that?" "So I'm staying at my aunt's house, it's not considered free living." Co Tue Cam suddenly asked. "How much did you borrow?" Phuong Dung was stunned. Co Tue Cam looked at the phone, her voice steady as if she was calculating the food bill. "In-laws, how much money did you borrow from the Phuong family in the past?" "Is there a loan note?" "Have you paid yet?" My mother whispered. "Thirty thousand." "At that time we were married, I had a little shortfall in my hand, so I borrowed 30 thousand from her aunt." "Then I paid it back." Phuong Dung immediately said. "Just paid the principal." "What about the favor?" Co Tue Cam nodded slightly. "It turned out to be a favor." "So for the past half month, the money for food from the electricity and water, plus the fact that you pointed five fingers at my niece, does that count as repaying the favor?" Phuong Dung's face darkened. "Auntie, don't talk about money so harshly." Co Tue Cam put the remote on the dining table. "You used the money to push someone first." "If you can't push, you criticize the words as unpleasant." My mother sighed. "Duong Nhan, don't listen to what he said. "The money was paid a long time ago." "I didn't tell you, because I didn't want you to feel burdened." I looked at Phuong Dung. "So this has nothing to do with you." Phuong Dung's face became even more unsightly. "My mother's money, why doesn't it have anything to do with me?" I said: "Then you go find your mother and ask for love." "Don't come to my daughter to ask for peace." She was stopped by me, and for a moment she couldn't say a word. My aunt's voice rang out on the phone again. Apparently my mother had passed the phone to my aunt. Her voice was heavy with sobs. "Duong Nhan, although Dung Dung's mouth is not good, his heart is not bad." "After he divorced, his work was not going well. When he returned to his mother's house every day, his uncle was frowning." "What did you do if you let him stay for a few days?" I closed my eyes. "Auntie, just now she told me to take Tieu Man to boarding school." "She said Tieu Man was impolite and unscrupulous." "She told Tieu Man to stay in the house itself." Her laughing and joking are also noisy." The other end of the line paused. A few seconds later, my aunt whispered. "He just doesn't know how to talk." "Don't take it personally." I suddenly burst out laughing. It's this sentence every time. Doesn't know how to speak. The intestines are left outside the skin. Hot temper. The mind is not bad. It's like just putting on these labels, the hurt person has to digest it on their own. I asked her. "Auntie, if I stayed at your house every day, criticized your living room for being noisy, criticized your grandchild as an eyesore, and asked you to take the child out of the house, would you still let me stay?" My aunt didn't say a word. Phuong Dung fought for words. "Auntie, stop bringing up children to talk about." "I also want the best for her." Co Tue Cam finally turned cold. "If you want the best for her, stay away from her." "This child doesn't need an adult to scare him with a boarding school." Phuong Dung's eyes became even redder. She suddenly turned around and went into the guest room. I thought she was going to pack her things. Unexpectedly, she quickly walked out again, holding a stack of clothes and care products in her hand
skin. She didn't pack it in her suitcase. She threw things straight onto the living room floor. Bottles were rolling all over the floor. "Okay." "You all want me to go, right?" "I'm determined not to go today." "I want to see if you can drag me out the door and throw me out." Tieu Man was scared and stood up from the floor covering. I held the baby in my arms. Co Tue Cam went over and turned off the TV. This time it wasn't because Phuong Dung criticized the noise. It's because Tieu Man doesn't want to watch anymore. I bowed my head and said to Tieu Man. "Please go to grandma's room to stay for a while." Tieu Man grabbed my sleeve. "Mom, don't argue with your cousin." My nose stung. "I'm not arguing." "I'm just letting people know, no one is allowed to bully you." Co Tue Cam led Tieu Man into the room, and before closing the door, he glanced at me. Those eyes were still very steady. I picked up the phone and dialed the building management number. Phuong Dung looked at me warily. "What are you doing?" I said: "Invite the security guard." "If you are willing to clean up after yourself, we will end peacefully." "If you are not willing, I will let a third party be present." Phuong Dung was stunned, then laughed shrilly. "Duong Nhan, how dare you?" I looked at her. "You still dare to kick my daughter out of her house." "What do I have that I don't dare?"
